@@bissell of course it didn't help. You didn't give a single solution having to do with the vacuum cleaner. Only the most obvious things any idiot would check first before searching on KZfaq.

Do you really think we haven’t tried it in more than one plug before we’ve gone to this length to figure out why our vacuum cleaner won’t work? Got any REAL advice before I throw it out?

Hey guys i found the fix and bissell should pay me. First go to a working outlet and plug it in then keep clicking the power button on and off till you hear the vaccum start

That is a workaround, not a fix. Usually workarounds do not last long because they do not "fix" the underlying issue.

Bissel in one year ... stopped working and I absolutely loved it. So tossed it out and bought another..absolutely 2 months ago....STOPPED WORKING..... 😞

Hello i have a bissell powerforce compact turbo and it’s like pounding on the carpet it makes a weird noise like a motercicle or something like that it vibrates any tips?

It should be agitating the carpet. What you’re experiencing should be normal.

Uhg , iv have bought two of this vacuums in the last year . Thought it was just a short with the 1st one went out . Just tried to vacuum now and the second one did the same thing.

So after Sparks flying , I took the stupid thing apart , the motor wires are burned not the power cord

Mine did the same thing. had it for one year and two weeks and now it wont power on, Bissell was no help. they wanted me to go to a repair place and pay money for them to tell me whats wrong.

On my powerforce compact the handel/extension wand is verry loose

They are a little loose at the bottom when attached as the handle. It's just the design, bc mine is the same

worthless info. My Bissell 2191 just went off, it's only 2 months old- won't turn on now. I'll have to strip it, fix it myself. I decided to rebuild my 1971 Kirby ,it got old, but worth the investment.

Check the plug make sure it's plugged in know maybe it's your vacuum that's really funny how these people are so terrible that they want to blame us or our Outlet instead of their piece of junk that we bought. Just bought a brand new power lifter swivel rewind, set it up out the box plugged it in. Turned on for 1 second shut down and won’t turn back on no matter what I do. This is some major bullshit and major time waster, I’ll never buy one of these again
