Dude, they did the lady at 01:15 really dirty. They straight up added fake subtitles and y'all are giving her shit for stuff she didn't say. All that stuff about not wanting her daughter to see public display of affection from LGBTQ+ people... she did not say. In reality, she said this: "But, I have no issue with people of the same sex being in love, I have no issue (with that)... but, I have a child, I have a daughter and I would like there to be... umm... a... it depends now, it is kn... I know that those that are in this category are born that way, and..."

Ben Dover I mean I guess it depends on what a person considers erotic. If some has issues with guys walking around in booty shorts and bondage straps than those people should also have issues with women wearing bikinis, if the display of skin is considered erotic. I understand what your trying to say, but for some people showing off some skin or dressing different is them showing that they are confident in who they are as a member of the lgbtq+. For some it’s a representation of being free to be who they are. There are also others in the lgbtq+ who would agree with you. Being a community full of other sub-communities, there are many people with varying outlooks on different things. Some people do, some people don’t. I personally would not dress in revealing clothes but I’m also not gonna mind those who do.

How come you don't have a problem with people being attracted to the same sex, yet you wouldn't want your daughter to see a gay couple? Then you do have a problem with gay people, you're just not admitting it. This woman is not just being homophobic, but she's also being hypocritical, because I could say the same thing about black people. Personally, I don't have a problem with black people and I think they're human beings just like the rest of us, but I wouldn't want my daughter to be around them. Why? Won't seeing/being around black people make her skin suddenly turn black? Of course not. It doesn't make sense. Just like seeing/being around gay people won't make her gay. Lonely Otaku - Abt the woman: In her defense it could be due to the cultural thing more than homophobic thing. A lot of countries have a culture of not showing publicly your affections, no matter what sexuality u r. Whilst i do not approve of what she has said, but since she didn’t mention if it applied to straight couples or not, i think there is still a conclusion to be drawn. - Abt the man: The only reason why adopting is not beneficial is because of low birth rate. Other than that i see no reason why he just simply «can’t accept» for «needing a mom and a dad» thing

What you need to understand is that saying that gay people don't belong in congress or around children is very dangerous because ot pushes people to attack them. A C girl this conversation in the 80’s Romania literally couldn’t exist. Not in public spaces at least. It was considered extremely taboo and wrong even talking about sex. Us Romanians didn’t have the freedom of speech during the communist era. And homosexuality wasn’t not only illegal, but FORBIDDEN. They literally used to put them in jail for their sexual orientation.

@@cupabreeze112 That means its society didn't put enough pressure to the government, meaning they don't care about LGBTQ rights. So even if the government decides to change those laws, society in that country will still have the same negative attitude towards LGBTQ communities and possibly cause more conflicts before things get better. Also, the fact that the EU pressured this country's government to give LGBTQ more rights means not even the government wanted to give them those rights to begin with, they did it out of pressure. You can only expect from most of this society a lot of negative attitudes against LGBTQ while law turns around looking at the other side or even taking part in some of this negative behaviors as well and even criminal acts against LGBTQ people

The subtitles are VERY wrong at times, and it's not like they didn't translate it fully or it's a misunderstanding, it's exactly the opposite....1:30 the lady said nothing about holding hans and kissing, she stuttered a bit and it's confusing, but she clearly said that gay people are born this way.

I remember my romanian best friend being kind of "homofobic" (or at least doing homofobic comments), until I came out as bisexual, when it trully showed me that he wasn't any LGBTfobic at all, he just grew up in this culture and made him confused. Democrația = dreptul poporului de a vota (doar majoritatea contează) Libertatea individului e cu totul altceva… Ar fi frumos să se bucure persoanele LGBT de viața din România, dar uite că nu se întâmplă din cauza persoanelor homofobe și transfobe. De asemenea, cum tu nu înțelegi de ce un bărbat e atras de alt bărbat..nici persoanele gay nu pot înțelege exact cum de tu ești atras de femei. Nu putem să înțelegem în totalitate experiența fiecărei persoane și ar trebui pur și simplu să acceptăm existența diversității cât timp nu ne punem piedici unii altora.

Vin dintr-o familie conservatoare, dar oricum cam deschisă la modernitate, și îți spun că degeaba ne luptăm cu probleme de astea când nici nu avem străzi bune să ajungem la locurile de muncă, sau când murim din cauza spitalelor îngrozitoare. Toată fanfara asta cu lgbt își o permit țările care nu au probleme de infrastructură și educație. Cum putem să învățam dacă închidem toate școlile? Nici vouă nu vă avantajează educația proastă, care aduce la ignoranță și ură. Plus chiar nu văd deloc mari activiști mai bătrâni de 40 de ani care să lucreze aici și să cunoască problemele imediate care le avem de zeci de ani de-acum. Romanian is a good country, but if someones happiness is being denied and some people live in fear of being known who they are, I think, thats heartbreaking.
