Short description
During the webinar discussed the high frequency and multifactorial nature of fatigue in those affected by systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The contribution of various factors such as disease activity, depression, anxiety and pain were highlighted as well as how these factors combine together trigger fatigue in SLE. Dr Lou Kawka (MD) showed how LEAF was developed , the Lupus Expert System for Fatigue, an innovative digital tool providing personalized assessment of fatigue, as well as individualized advice for the management of fatigue.

I was diagnosed with Lupus, Heart Failue, and Mixed Connective Tissue Disease in 2018. The fatigue is seriously difficult for me. I take 16 diff meds daily and a weekly injection of Benlysta. I don't know if it's the illnesses or the meds half of the time.
