The Hitachi branded 18v impact driver was pretty good too

Have used this reciprocating saw for spring pruning this year. A massive ice storm hit Texas and lots of trees have dead branches on them. Without taking out the chain saw this baby chewed right thru 4/5 inch branches without any struggle at all. Since my beloved Hitachi changed names to Metabo my curiosity about continued quality was laid to rest. Am more than happy with it's productivity.

That is cool that it holds t-shank blades. Never heard of anyone else doing that but it’s a great idea.

I've had the Milwaukee M18 (non Fuel) one handed Hackzall for a few years and it's one of my favorite and most used tools. Paired with some Diablo blades I haven't found anything I can't cut fast including thick rebar. I just redid a bathroom faucet where I was under the cabinet and was having trouble getting a fitting off the center drain pipe so I just reached up with one handed and cut through the metal pipe like butter with a thin metal Diablo blade. These one handed saws are alot more handy and more powerful than you might think when you own one. It can also rip trough something like heavy wood pallets like they're cardboard.

Saber saws are great! I've used the M12 version and it is very handy. You guys should compare the two side by side

An underpowered sawzall. What did I win?

Its a hackzall. Great for electricians cutting EMT pipe. Its easier to use one handed, where the sawzall typically needs two hands. Its easier to use on a ladder as well.

is the chuck stainless? Ive had a couple recips just rust shut on me.

kobalt has had there version in 24v out for yrs nothing new

Is it just me, or could that button for the adjustable shoe be pressed accidentally while using the saw two handed?
