I like the option of multiple blades and applications It's not the most powerful one handed but being able to use jig blades is awesome

The biggest con is the 1/2 stroke. I think if the stroke was longer, then you will get the results. you are looking for. Metabo has the shortest stroke of all the reciprocating saws in the same class of cordless saws.

It’s NOT brushless, though! Dang Metabo! It’s at a great $99 price, that’s for sure, at Lowe’s!

with the 2.0 ah battery its sucks at cutting pvc

correction , it does NOT run on the AC power adapter.

YES, it WILL run on the AC/DC Adapter! All Metabo HPT 18v tools CAN run fine using the MultiVolt Adapter! It is backward compatible with 18v Metabo tools, and it’ll double the Amp hours if you put a 36V Metabo battery in an 18v tool! But, the 18v batteries will NOT work in the 36v tools!

@@briha3142 I bought the AC adapter and it wouldn’t slide onto any of my 18 v multivolt tools. Is there more than one adapter type?

Tell like it is the blade that comes with it is to put it politely is crap and the metal cutting blade is even worse. Speaking from experience and I'm not a working tradesman.

NOTHING can beat a CORDED, Milwaukee, Sawzall. Nothing.

This saw is in no way whatsoever intended to 'beat' a corded saw. It's designed to be lightweight and easy to use. Your comparing apples to watermelons.
