Thanks! My backpack of choice for over a decade has been the North Face Surge. It may not be the best-looking option out there, but it's ideal in practically every other way for me. www.thenorthface.com/en-us/bags-and-gear/backpacks/mens-backpacks-c298772/surge-backpack-pNF0A52SG

Thanks so much for your continued interest in the talks I've been posting! My DICOM viewer of choice is OsiriX MD, but I say that with a lot of misgivings (their free OsiriX Lite product is so kneecapped that it's not an option for my teaching use, in my opinion). OsiriX MD is the most feature-complete & polished product available on Mac OS. Its price may be reasonable if you're using it for real clinical interpretation, however its price (and all the nagging dialog boxes prompting you to update every time you launch the app after a year) are a bit unreasonable if your use case is for teaching files only, and FDA-certification for patient use doesn't matter. Even if you pay hundreds of a dollars for a license, the company will watermark every image with a big red message "WARNING: Unsupported OS: upgrade OsiriX" once you're upgraded to a newer version of Mac OS a year later. You can't remove this watermark, and it's a pain if you want to export an image for a Powerpoint presentation. I really wish a more affordable, non-FDA certified option for people who just want to use it to view/organize DICOM files was available - something the company used to offer back when I was a resident years ago. Horos is a free, open-source relative to OsiriX based on an earlier version of OsiriX's code base from over a decade ago. It's worth a look if OsiriX MD's cost is prohibitive. I try to move my teaching file library from OsiriX to Horos every few years, but Horos always seems just buggy and unpolished enough to compel me to go back to OsiriX MD.

Nice vid! Can you please make a video on PACS, or like a Horos/ OsiriX demo for residents who are just starting out? I bet you’re a power user and we can learn a lot from that in addition to the basics of the software.
