It was pretty cool to get a glimpse of what welders do. I'm a 19 year-old who's trying to find things I can study in college. The idea of welding came to mind, so I searched it up and this came up. I'm glad I watched it! Definitely inspired me to study this.

I love these informative videos as well. It helps us appreciate the complicated system that moves more than 5 million people every day. It also helps us appreciate the dedicated employees who keep us moving.

We can all bow down in honor to people like this and tradesmen like my father. They are the true heros of the world. Electricity, transport, education, construction, maintenance, all the things that keep the world running like a well oiled machine, is thanks to them. And I think they aren't paid enough. If they all decided "Fuck it" and left, we're screwed.

Metropolitan Transportation Authority releases great video shows about the work that is being done before and behind the scenes. The work that is not seen by the riding public amazes me, especially in the rapid transit car shop. Car Equipment Department is my favorite department in the New York City Transit System. However, I am still appalled and turned off of individuals who attack transit employees, especially on the road. Transit workers are The Best People Around who roll the big wheels abound.
