Jesus Christ changes the word fear to worship!! Awesome Matt. 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Jesus was quoting Deuteronomy 6:13 Deuteronomy 6:13 King James Version (KJV) 13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. But when Jesus quotes it, he changes the word fear to worship.

Most people don't even have the simplest, the most basic understanding of scripture. Genesis 1, the first chapter they get wrong, that makes everything else wrong. Genesis 1 is all Lower case god's. We were made in the image of God. That's capital g little o Little D. Strong's concordance, from the Hebrew, H430 PLURAL, lowercase gods. From the Hebrew meaning, gods in the ordinary sense. Genesis 1:26 And God said let US ( plural) make man in OUR (plural) image, after OUR (plural) likeness. All plural lesser god's. Not the Father, not Yahuah, the supreme being, the creator of all. As a matter of fact, it is his second commandment, is that you make no image of him, nothing in the heavens above, nothing in the earth, and nothing beneath the Earth. Absolutely no image, it's against his commandments to create an image. So if he has no image, how could we be made in His image. This is the most basic concept, that most don't even understand. That means everyone's breaking the second commandment, by. Creating a image. Especially Christianity, with Jesus, and the Cross. The savior wasn't named Jesus, and wasn't hung on a cross. A sacrifice is not a sacrifice, unless it's done on an altar, a Roman cross is not an altar. Then everyone prays to God, the lower case god's, and Not Yahuah, the supreme Creator of All. The first commandment, I am Yahuah, your Elohiem that brought you out of Bondage, have no other before my face. Pray to him and him alone. Praying to God, is Breaking the first commandment, pray to Yahuah, not a fake made up Name Jesus, or any other names. Yod Hey Uah Hey pronunced Yahuah Translated Directly from Paleo Hebrew, or Phoenician as it's also known. Next John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, which is the Law, and The Truth. That was with Yahuah because the law and the truth is part of Yahuah. We all know that eventually the law, and the truth, became flesh. We use the law, and the truth, to get to the father. The law and the truth have no image either. There is only the representation of the truth and the law. The flesh that was the blood sacrifice, Yahusha. Why would we worship the sacrifice, and not the one sacrificed to. Yahusha was that sacrifice. He didn't pray to himself. So worshiping the image of Jesus Christ, is idolatry, he's not the father either. Even the name Jesus is false, it's a replacement for or a facimily. A replica. Jesus it's not English, it's Spanish. They're never has been a Hebrew baby name Jesus ever. And if there's only one name, and the powers in that one name, and that name is above all other names. Who has permission to change it? It's not any religion it finding the Truth so You cannot be Deceived. You must Know The Father personally, His love must be Experienced, The Scriptures lead us to him. But Like Yahusha are a physical Representation. We must reach him spiritually. The taste of a fruit or the fragrance of a flower cannot be known by reading about them. The fruit must be eaten and the flower smelt. Only in union with the Father, spirit communicating with Spirit, can proof of His reality be found. We are to be set apart, John 15:18-19 if the world hate you, ye know that it hated me, before it hated you. if you were of the world, the world would love his own, but because you are not of the world, I have chosen you out of the world, therefore all the world hates you. Is everyone against you like they are me? Have you lost all your family and friends and everything because you stand for truth? You can't eat at both tables, you can't be a part of this life, and be one of those set apart. Very few realize what's really going on. There is a war on humanity. No, you're NOT and NEVER alone sister/or brother :), we as believers are right here with you and we DEFINITELY know what it's like to be affected by the fear (reverance/respect, honor and awe) of the Lord (Our Heavenly Father). I remember when I was first saved at 13 (after hearing the Shocking Youth Message by Paul Washer himself), I experience the love AND fear of God and I was afraid to sin, at first because I thought God The Father would punish me severely if I did, but as I grew and got older and learned more about God and His Person and The Person He is in Jesus Christ, I realized I just didn't wanna break His heart and I had too much respect and love for Him to wanna break His Heart. I know I don't know you or where you live but if you ever wanna talk my email is jkizfire77@gmail.com and my cell number is 803-201-7128 :). Interestingly: here's a question most Christians struggle to answer. Jesus did it. The apostles did it. Even after He ascended they still did it. Christians, do they do it? No way! They say: If you do your not truly saved! Perhaps the one scriptures that'll get Christians wound up in knots is Daniel 7:25. If you are seeking the truth no matter what then read on and consider that it's one of the prophecies that has been fulfilled. Lets consider what it says: "He will intend to change religious festivals & laws." Which festivals was Daniel referring too? He never heard of Xmas, valentine's day or Thanksgiving. He knew about feast of booths, feast of weeks & passover. Perhaps those festivals were changed just like he prophecied. Well, the council of nicea happened in 325A.D, is that when they changed? Yep! After the changes is when we have the early Christians tortured and ripped apart by lions. Why would "believers" of the 21st century follow the things that upset Daniel so much? 2 Cor 6:14-17 ...For what partnership is there between righteousness & lawlessness ..... therefore come out from among them, to be separate, don't touch anything unclean... When you change Gods laws, that's called lawlessness. So you see God is bringing judgement. Judgement is good, bringing correction, which brings us closer to God. So when your church gets shut down or restricted don't blame God, praise Him, and blame the forefathers who changed "the way". Then ask God to help change you back to His Holy days and His Holy ways before the council of nicea happened.

Great explanations of the fear of the Lord! I can relate to what Paul Washer said in a couple of ways. For the first couple of years I had great emotional feelings towards God. Woke up every day with a great sense of joy in Him. And that seems to have dissipated. Now it’s more me seeing who He is in His word and depending of Him. Still with joy, just not a constant emotional thing.

This has been helpful. I recall great love, mercy and grace and protection of God when I first came to know Him. But then years passed and I find myself in deep sin and it seems to spiral. But hearing this, He's teaching me to fear Him. And I am. He's made me so aware that I can die any moment of any day. It doesn't stop me from doing things, but it most certainly has caused me to weigh things and say to myself, "What's the point of this action or decision? I could die today."

The fear of the Lord is what it is plainly, we should fear him as the Creator of the world, he is almighty.. he is today, tomorrow, and forever, we should fear him with honor and respect as our perfect Father who rewards the righteousness of his people with his great love, mercy and grace, and disciplines his people for disobedience also with great love, mercy, and grace. As our King he rules with a mighty iron fist and he is also is a consuming fire to his enemies. Because of Christ, we as born again believers we don't have to face his wrath but his judgment. Because he is a righteous judge and we will be judged on what we did with the precious blood of his son. What's not to fear? When we understand these things we gain wisdom. We can't understand these things until we build a relationship with him. Without reading his holy word there will never be a relationship which equals no fear of God no wisdom.

@@qw2ps4 I am not being disrespectful but I really don't understand your point. Jesus paid it all, done it all, finished it all. I am washed in his blood, saved by his grace, and made a new creature because of him. What does festivals have to do with the fear of God. I do fear him. That is why I have not fallen back into sin. Am I perfect? definitely not. But through his mercy and grace try to live blameless. Why because I know who I was with out Jesus and know who I am now that I have Jesus. I can't help but to tell others about him and what I learn from him. Persecution I have went through but not like my sisters and brothers who given themselves for him. I know rejection, I know hatred and avoidance. But what is that compared to my Lord and saviour. Holidays I celebrate with my family to remember what he has done for us.. I am not going to be judged for those Holidays that I worship him because I have been made free in Christ. But now if I go and sit at the bar do what everyone else is doing, or live like the heathen in my music, my tv, my clothing and my conversations full of profanity now that I will be judged for. Because what does light have to do with darkness.

@@coGod1 Scriptures are clear we are to walk in His ways. Israel would walk in Gods ways and be blessed and then they would stop and they would come under judgement. When Israel feared Him, things went well with them. So when we change His laws AND His holy days we are falling into the same pattern as Israel. It's an act of rebellion against God, who is so full of mercy and grace that He will take us back if we repent. The fact is back in 325 the law was changed just like Daniel told us it would. That should alert us, and we should change back. Change to reflect the ways Jesus talked and walked, which pleases the Father. This is having the fear or reverence for God. Not continue in our sin. He didn't pay it all so we could do our own thing, and our own ways. Ways that lead to idolatry... .creating a God in an image we are comfortable with instead of the way He is and the way He wants.

His love is overwhelming. It consumes. The fear is not the familiar type we experience. Like dread or danger. We have all done wrong and rebelled in our lives. So the fear we feel turns into the deepest fear imaginable of breaking the heart of the one that chose to love us through it all.

The Lord delivered me from pornography, addiction to gaming, and obsession with current events. These things were tremendous idols in my life. In the time since he delivered me, I have waxed and waned in battle with temptations towards these things, and wrestled with anything that would threaten the allure of Christ in my life. There have been close calls, and I have certainly looked at things I had no business looking at. In fact, I have found that my hatred for lust has needed to become so much greater than it ever was. Like I must make a covenant with my eyes, as it is written. I have fallen so many times, I wonder if I have spurned that deliverance and grieved the holy spirit to the point that the power of that deliverance might leave me forever. But I want to tell you something, as you press onward in your own battle. Every single time I have come to Christ, he has been faithful to comfort me. Every time. I have most certainly learned a great deal about God in this experience. Victory comes. We must acknowledge the total sufficiency of Christ Crucified. Then we may marvel and wonder and God's beauty. We must be willing to depart totally from ourselves and into the life of Christ. If we wish to grow and be holy as he is holy, we really must get better at dying to self. The sufficiency of Christ and all its glory marks plainly the insufficiency of self. One simple thing to do, think more of Christ and others, and try to not think of yourself at all.

Bro Michael Durham kind of sums it well as he said that the most fearful thing he experienced is when he encountered the LOVE of God , interestingly he also said it doesn't make sense and I agree bcoz the FEARFUL LOVE of God can't b comprehend by our limited mind. For this i conclude we as christians aren't experiencing GENUINE Love of God if that 'Love' isn't producing FEAR of God in our life.

When you believe this in your heart by His grace, begin to walk in this love to serve others. That’s when you start doing his will and keeping yourself clean. Good question. One thing I noticed is that love was referred to as one of God's attributes. Actually Love is who God is, it is not an attribute to be balanced with other attributes. Justice, wrath and those kind of things ALL flow out of love and are not in conflict with or in balance with love. When we realize that God is love and God is good and does good all the time in every situation, it is transformative.

It seems to me the the fear of the Lord is more than what was explained in this video. In fact, even Michael Durham after explaining that it was 'reverence' 'a balance view of God' then as he continued on, admitted that at times he does have some fear. I would totally agree with his second part. The apostle John had walked & talked with Jesus, both during the 3 year ministry, and after He was resurrected, but the fear John experienced when he saw Jesus again, was extreme fear: 'I fell at his feet as though dead'. Rev1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last... What happened to change John view of God? He saw Jesus in His full glory, holiness, power. He saw God's greatness and it naturally generated great fear. The only reason we do not fear the Lord, is because we have not have a full revelation of His love, holiness and power. Although I must admit, we have a far greater understanding of His love than His holiness. But even that understanding is incomplete, because you cannot understand the mystery of God's love without also understanding His justice and how greatly He hates sin. Even from a natural point of view; consider that John and all the disciples. The apostle John and all the disciples, were also afraid of Jesus as their teacher, in that Jesus was a stern teacher. Scripture tells us that they were often afraid of Him when He asked that questions. And Jesus reprimanded them for their hard hearts. If Jesus is your Lord, He is your teacher too, don't you think that you would be afraid too, when He is displeased with you for your hard heart and unforced errors? But, we cannot imagine Jesus ever being angry with us. Why? I believe that the reason we do not have any fear for God, or can imagine that Jesus would ever be angry with us, is because we have majored on His love so much, at the expense of His justice and hatred of sin, and cannot see the proper balance of who God is.

The fear of the Lord is like when you walk over that little rise and see the Grand Canyon for the first time. You are struck with the majesty and beauty, but you step back a little... as you have no comparative reference and you seem to grasp your smallness for the very first time. Like c.s. lewis' lion, Aslan, you may know that He is good, but the question lingers: "But is He safe?" What does that goodness mean for a man of unclean lips? You feel undone, for even holy men tremble around the Holiest of all, yet you want to draw nearer... to a precipice that could consume you.

@@daviddugger7302 @David Dugger That actually works well with the concept of reverence or the reverential fear of God, as well. Romans 12:1 NASB Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. The presentation of your bodies in holiness is worship & requires fear or reverence. Luke 12:5 NASB But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him! This scripture is in contrast to fearing man and thereby terminating your obedience or "the obedience of faith". The greatest extent that the common man can fear is with regards to physical death. And you are supposed to fear God more, in such a context: which was really a possibility in that day, as even new born believers were confronted with the possibility of becoming a human torch lighting a Roman road, food for a lion or as just another Christian crucified upon a cross. The closest possible situation would be being a Christian in a Muslim nation where you could be called upon to renounce Christ or have your head removed. There were recent situations where in Africa where the Muslims came into a village and cut off the arms of Christians and used them as drums during a ceremony where they decapitated other Christians. I think this is the situation where the phrase "fear and trembling" which corresponds to the O.T. phrase "fear and dread". The later 'dread' means "with trembling". The combined phrase of "fear and trembling" is applicable to the above mentioned circumstance of facing death and in the situation where you are sharing the gospel message in the light of accountability of God for what and how you share the message (whether in a "different spirit" or "different gospel"). 1 Corinthians 2:3 NASB I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, There was a "dispensation" given to the Apostle and proper stewardship was in the forefront of his mind. If the Church really understood the weight of what has been set before us what would be the proper mindset or heart. We will also be judged by God for everything that we have done in the body, whether good or bad, 2 Cor. 5 :10. If we always held the judgment seat of Christ before us in our actions, would we be doing so with "fearing and trembling". This scripture could also allude to the results that often followed Paul's preaching: 1. On 3 different occasions the Romans hung him upside down and beat him with numerous blows, especially on the bottom of his feet. 2. Paul was whipped with cat-o'-nine-tails 39 times on 5 different occasions. 3. In Lustra, Paul was pummeled with rocks until he was thought to be dead. (2 Corinthians 11:23ff) There could have been a pavlovian effect involved, as well, seeing that what often accompanied his preaching was a riot if not a revival. ( I Cor. And knowing that a near death experience often accompanied his preaching could give him the physical reaction of "fear and trembling" and much weakness, I Cor. 2:3. The Galatians saw him with eyes that had been so damaged by rocks & then we're sympathetic to the point that they would have given him their him own eyes if possible. So yeah, the fear of the LORD is not just a superficial thing and is probably best understood in any given context of our lives: whether under the pressure of death or the pressure to conform or when Ananias and Sapphira drop dead in front of you. Isaiah 8:13 NASB "It is the Lord of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread.

Huge difference between fear "of" the Lord, and fear "to" the Lord. We don't fear to the Lord, We fear of failing to obey the Lord, because of being irreverent and hypocrites, after having received his sublime and incomparable "Grace", once given to us freely, and then neglecting it; going back to our old ways of distorted past living. HEBREWS 10:26-31. 26For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. May our beloved Father God almighty help us every single day of our lives, to live a life worthwhile of representing the love of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, and received always the guidance of the precious Holy Spirit!🙏 Amén!

The First thing to know about The Fear of The LORD is this. The Fear of The LORD is The Beginning of Wisdom period ! The Fear of The LORD you will not go and Trample and take The Name of The LORD in vain. or take The LORD Forgranted by not Obeying His Commandments and not Giving Him His Honour and The Glory for being The Creator of all things visible and invisible. So that's where The Fear of The LORD starts at. To Reverence and to Fear His Holy Name is The Beginning of Wisdom. And the rest will take care of itself.

How do you handle fellowship with friends when they are on a different page doctrinally and They follow false teachers and are 100% convinced they are in truth and your the weird spiritually blind one? When im with them there is always an awkward moment when they say things like you need to learn to speak to your body. Or they say we need to pray in the spirit for that person (meaning tongues).. They have parties and events that i decline because of paganism or it's not something i feel comfortable with doing. I guess im so down about trying to be the true to the word person but to them i am legalistic or spiritually immature. Im just a woman who fears the Lord and want to be obedient. Just feel lonely and i just don't fit in... This walk is tough sometimes..

So sorry to hear about your friends Nakia, maybe you should earnest seek the Lord in prayer that he would provide a Church that elevates Christ Jesus to His rightful position and stands firm in the truth of the Scriptures. This is dangerous for you and could cause you to backslide. You need a strong Bible based Church and Shepherds that will protect and feed you. Have a look on the internet for a Reformed Church. 🙏

@@RangerMcFriendly If Jesus did it shouldn't we do it? Well Jesus did it.

We cannot fear God without obedience to His 10 commandments (Deuteronomy 10:12, 13), and we cannot love God without obedience to His commandments (John 14:15). To fear God is to lovingly obey Him and to love God is to obey Him reverently. Open to discussion.

Fear of the LORD or proper reverence is essential to worship. There were recent situations in Africa, Muslims came into a village and cut off the arms of Christians and used them as drums during a ceremony where they decapitated other Christians. 3. In Lystra, Paul was pummeled with rocks until he was thought to be dead. (2 Corinthians 11:23ff) There could have been a pavlovian effect involved, as well, seeing that what often accompanied his preaching was a riot if not a revival. ( And knowing that a near death experience often accompanied his preaching could give him the physical reaction of "fear and trembling" and much weakness, I Cor. 2:3. The Galatians saw him with eyes that had been so damaged by rocks & then we're sympathetic to the point that they would have given him their him own eyes if possible. So yeah, the fear of the LORD is not just a superficial thing and is probably best understood in any given context of our lives: whether under the pressure of death or the pressure to conform or when Ananias and Sapphira dropped dead in front of you after the offertory prayer. Isaiah 8:13 NASB "It is the Lord of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread.

Fear of Him is reverence. Fear of Him is do you love Him? Are you on fire for Jesus? Enough to change your ways? Ever consider the fact that Daniel's prophecy was fulfilled? In 325A.D almost 1700 years ago Dan7:25 was fulfilled. There it states ... He will intend to change religious festivals & laws. Which festivals was Daniel referring too? He never heard of Xmas, valentine's day or Thanksgiving. He knew about feast of booths, feast of weeks & passover. Perhaps those festivals were changed just like he prophecied. Well, the council of nicea happened in 325A.D, is that when they changed? Yep & who was responsible for that? Is it the Roman catholic church? There they changed the Gods law as well.... So does the protestant church follow the changed doctrine? Right after the changes is when we have the early Christians tortured and ripped apart by lions. Why would they follow the things that upset Daniel so much? 2 Cor 6:14-17 ...For what partnership is there between righteousness & lawlessness ..... therefore come out from among them, to be separate, don't touch anything unclean... the Sabbath was given to the Jews the Israelites only. It was a covenant between God and them to remind them of when he took them out of Egypt. Deuteronomy 5: 12-15 12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. 13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. 15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. 5 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. @@qw2ps4 I gave you 37 scriptures that shows that Christians are not under the law. Galatians 3:24-28 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Christians are no longer under the school master (Law). I don’t know why you keep pushing the Law? 2 Corinthians 3:6-12 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: The law was a ministration of death!!!

@@daviddugger7302I'm not promoting salvation by works of the law. I hope you can hear me on this one point. Acts 11:26 reads ..... and the disciples were 1st called Christians in Antioch. So we see hear all believers, both Jewish and non Jewish are called Christians. The devil loves to separate. As long as he does that, he can keep the body of believers weak. James says you need works to go along with faith. He wasn't talking about the law here. He was talking about taking care of people. Now we see in Acts 21:15-26 something else. Paul, and some disciples went in to see James & a bunch of elders. So there was quite a few people there. They were concerned about how Paul's teachings were being perceived. Many of the people in the Jewish community were confused, thinking Paul was teaching people to forsake Moses. Then James gives Paul clear direction on what to do. In verse 24 James tells Paul after he does this action, that ......people will see "" that you yourself also walk orderly, keeping the Law""" By Paul's actions & James commentary you can see he's keeping the law. And all those in the room were encouraging him to show others he did so. We need to ask, why? For what purpose? It goes against what we have been taught! Then why in Acts are they doing it? They're NOT doing it to be saved! No way....... that's what the pharisees taught. That's the burden that was too heavy. But by the actions we see here in acts, it's not against God's instructions, otherwise Paul, James and everyone in the room were teaching against Jesus. Paul was called personally by God to spread the word. If Paul was doing something against Gods will, God would've stopped him in his tracks. God has done it before. Not only that, God wouldn't have allowed James and all the others to partake in agreement with those actions. God would've made sure it did NOT make it in His book! I hope this clears up what I've been trying to communicate with you, blessings.

i don't feel joy from being saved. I cried to God for help, love, saving, i think im justified and saved. I feel overwhelming shame, hate and pain from past, present and even the premediated thoguht of future sin. My greatest sin is Sexual. Porn. I wasted 30 years in porn and it got so bad i looked at things so beyond gross that to me it was inviting and exciting. It eroded my soul. this sins pull is like the one true ring in LOTR. its horrible. But i think im saved becuase when i dewell on Gods promise that he gives me the power to turn away from it, the pull subsides, its frustrates its self to the point of leaving my mind for a time. Im not doing this. when i first put my faith in Jesus i tried to interpret change as some of it is ME doing the WORK. no. No but Jesus is clear that action and prevention is needed. Before asking for saving i had ZERO regret wtih sin. After asking to be saved the same sexual act is a horrible experience. Its tasty at first but during and after its crippling. i work from hom, i am in front of a PC all day long. I have easy access there but can't look at porn for work security reasons, so the other avenue are my devices. I've locked them out and hidden the pass word in such a way that i can't remember it. This does alot. But its still not enough. THIS doesn't rely on Jesus. SO the first was commanded by Jesus to "pluck out your eye and cast it",....the second was faith. and thats where Fear in God has been growing. I don't want to upset God, i want to please him. I don't want to do this to have some credit with God, i just want to be loved and saved by him. But i can't fully turn away unless i rely on him. Jesus said we have the POWER that faith and grace gives us to TURN from sin. It means SIn CANNOT be powerful enough to pull you into its web. It isnt more powerful than God. I fear for my soul and i have a great deal of Fear of God. He's the only one that can do any perm damage to my eternity. I hope i Never lose that fear. The further i get away from a relapse, the more disgusting the sin feels but also the more tempting it is. i feel peace, but its in when i Dewell on him. Its not permeating all the time. I hope that's normal. I don't SIN when i read his word. I SIN when i take my eyes off him. I suspect that's how it will always be. I feel joy from loving my wife and Kids. from stranger kindness and random acts of kindness with strangers. I HATED people before this. I used to say "i hope when i die if theres a heaven that i get a house on the outskirts away from everyone else". Im stil not a people person, but something feels different, my people interactions before were selfish. Today i seem to Dewell on a more optimistic intention rather than assuming the worst. I still hope for a non city life in Heaven lol, but what ever God wants is best i think.
