When he speaks of "every word, every mark, etc...", he means the original texts. The English translations all have the responsibility of taking what is in those texts, and putting them in language that accurately communicates what those original, written languages are saying. Even various editions of the the same translation change in English... i.e. 1 Samuel 13:1 in the ESV2001, versus the ESV in 2013, 2016. Compare that to the NASB1995, NIV1984, NIV2011... it is different everywhere because the original Hebrew text has a physical defect (see footnotes for that verse in all those translations). Jesus was not saying that any single FUTURE translation is the one that is acceptable. The best translation of the Bible is the one that you read and effectively conforms you to the image of Jesus.

I think it’s 1) because the NT was written in Greek, and that’s what spread all over the world in the lingua franca; and 2) because most of the early church fathers did not know Hebrew, but Greek and Latin. So the Greek form of the name is what spread and became well known. Same reasons why the title Christ is more popularly known than Messiah

@@tjkhan4541 personally I think it's because it was a choice by those who wrote stories about Jesus I'm in no doubt that he was real and not fiction but the people that wrote stories about him in the bible were based on the stories they had heard as he had been dead at least 80yrs before the stories were wrote about him so there would have been nobody that knew the man they named Jesus and I know it's a fact of life and human nature to eggsagerate or add to or make up even stories from people especially when nobody was alive wen his life story was written about, I'm only saying it as I see it with common sense and logic thinking but having said that my heart does wish all the stories of him wer completely true as he obviously was a very great man indeed and very far ahead of his time I am not in no way denying the existence of Jesus or that he was such a great teacher and full of love and full of wisdom he most certainly must of been all these things it's just I know how all humans are wen telling great stories about somone that lived who was a great human being 💝♥️💜 I suppose the only time the real truth will come out is when he comes back riding on the clouds with great power and glory if that happens only then will people know the full truth as for now nobody really knows even if they proclaim they do because it says so in the good book 📖 it's even plausible he was in contact with advanced aliens as he always looked up to the skies and he did say he would return riding on the clouds with power and glory that's another indication he maybe riding in some kind of aircraft or even a space ship, well if people believe in wot was written in the bible then that also has to be a very plausible explanation or possiblity 💝♥️📖🌌🌎🙏🌻🌄☀️🌈⚡✨⭐💫🌟🌠🪐🛸🎚️✝️🇬🇧 thankyou if anyone took the time to read all of my comment, it's just my thoughts and only opinions of what i feel could of possibly taken place and what may take place also, godbless you ✝️✨🌟 with joy peace, love, and kindness, to your fellow man and animals alike as all life is very precious and I'm a firm believer that a time in the future all hatred and cruelty and nasty behaviours of all people will be no more and we will all live in peace and harmony with each other and love each other as equals and value all life including all animals ✝️✨🌟 thankyou and amen to the source ✝️

It cannot think, it's a character in a book. I can think because I am a real person. A character of me cannot think, can it? JKR wrote Harry Potter and she can think but the character in the book called Harry cannot think or talk because they are from a story. Does that make it clear? This guy is talking about a character from a book.
