A man in our church has a ministry of deliverance, so after men are delivered, my ministry is to walk alongside of one who has just been delivered. I don’t judge anyone. I have a great deal of compassion for those who have been imprisoned by their sexual sin.

That's very true, especially in an era of irresponsible sexuality. But even those people who have a regular sex life may stray and cheat on their spouse. It's something that every Christian must deal with, just like using foul language. We all struggle with these issues.

That's right. When I was having regular sex I never had those lustful fantasies, etc. I think now that I am not having sex at all, these fantasies and thoughts are replacing the physical sex I now miss.

It's hard to imagine that I could be intimate with my wife and not have my thoughts consumed with what is infront of me. I don't ride my Motorcycle and think of other motorcycles. I think the whole transition from adolescence to adulthood has a lot to say about God’s design for us as it is the natural biological change occurring to ready the person for reproduction. Many young men and even adults go through periods of sleep orgasm (wet dreams) of which they have no control. The problem, I believe, is when we connect natural function to obsessive and addictive lustful behavior. That is when we allow unhealthy desires and temptation to guide our thoughts and actions to the point that it becomes an act of self worship (as most temptations are designed to feed our desire for pleasure, comfort, attractiveness, and acceptance).

Masturbation is one of many forms of sexual immorality. When a man views a woman as the object of his lust, he is objectifying her-in other words, he is not viewing her as a precious soul created for God's glory, made in the image of God. I would have to disagree. The Holy Spirit never leaves a genuine born-again Christian. So you don't need to ask the Holy Spirit to return. When we sin, especially the sexual ones, it means we lost a battle (we listen to our mortal body instead of the Holy Spirit). It does not mean it is the end of the world. Until we receive the glorified body, we just get back up, repent, rearm (with the scripture), and do our best to fight another day (we have the Holy Spirit who guides us).

When a Christian commits sin, he becomes a sinner. However, there's a chance for him to repent of that sin and be washed again before he dies in it. There's no such thing as eternal security on this realm. Please read Ezekiel 18:24.

The key isn't to be all caught up in the shame and guilt cos we all imperfect but when eventually come from a place of understanding and more aligned so we can be in right standing before our sovereign King, the LORD God, Jesus Christ his perfect image he created us to be in likeness of, so we can represent him as true images here on earth, he naturally weans us and we eventually overcome that. And as your rightly said, the conditioning it does to us, our brains and our body and the aftermath even on our endurance, both physical and spiritual, our ability to discipline ourselves to wait, our ability to be in control, overcome our minds and not our minds and feelings or be at the mercy of our desires, etc is something God in his infinite wisdom foresees and tells us in advance so we don't fall into that trap of depending more on it because we can't get enough eventually. He even told the Jews in leviticus of what the inhabitants of the land he was giving to them did that defiled the land and it evicted them. All because our inability to have self control over our desires and feelings can lead us pretty bad off track, when we do not get a firm grip on it and be in alignment with Truth, God's view, perspective or law by his word based on how highly he views us a royals and trains us on how to live up to that high standard in his kingdom as kings and queens.

Rightfully said. It takes us back to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Would we trust in God and wait for the right time or we'd see figuratively the woman as the tree whether imagined or real or that thought and it appearing to be pleasant to the eyes and appears to fulfill that innate desire or need in the moment, which for Adam(man - both of them) contracts how God designed and intended them to gain wisdom through trusting him and the everyday life process and experiences he'd give them vs the instant one the tree promises, just as he designed for marriage and the purpose of connection, than we would choosing the instant pleasure now, when we are faced with that same tree figuratively - sexual desire, which God only ordained for the context, boundary and purpose of marriage.
