The goal for WEC is to get to 9 or 10 races, but they can't go more than those numbers due to a lot of factors, with costs, scheduling conflicts, and track capacity being limiting factors(as well as the fact that it'll get even harder when they have 40 cars for 2025). And keep in mind, when they did have 9 races in 2016 and 2017, they had 31 and 26 cars complete the full season, so less of a hassle to get things shipped back and forth.

Just a little correction, Vale is a 7 time MotoGP champion BUT a 9 time WORLD champion, won a 125 and 250cc championship alongside the 7 MotoGP ones

Valentino already did the Bathurst 12 hours in a GT3 car early this year. He might do some more races but there aren't any confirmed yet as far as I'm aware.

Vale is racing in the gt world challenge europe and intercontinental gt challenge championships in the 46 WRT BMW. You can follow all those races for free on the gtworld youtube channel.

The biggest shame from all the new regulations and categories is Audi which I’d have loved to have seen the R8 GT3 at Le Mans. Huge shame the entire motorsport division has been wound down because they really did knock Porsche of their GT perch

"The thing about Porsche, a bit like Ferrari, they have a little bit of consistency and understanding technically what it takes for these cars". The biggest let down of the W.E.C. is the lack of knowledgable pundits and people who interact that can engage with all audiences. Please get some talent in this department! Ridiculous that an FIA World Championship, headlined by the iconic Le Mans 24hour event, is prioritizing weaker drivers over stronger drivers. Why should top quality deserving Pro drivers be sitting on the sidelines or racing in regional / national championships, while Bronze drivers are gifted seats at the highest level on a premier stage? There are enough other GT series all over the planet catering for Pro-Am, Bronze, Silver and Gold Drivers. This stage should be reserved for full Pro Platinum rated drivers. The fans deserve to see the best drivers in the best cars on the best circuits ... not a bunch of Bronze up-and-comers or has-beens plodding around making the circuit a less professional and safe environment than it needs to be.

There is no demand for a Pro class. That's the reason GTE PRO just disappeared because it was getting expensive although that reason you can also say that the GTE cars were expensive to run too. The only way a GT PRO class comes back is if the manufacturers want it. For now LMGT3 continues on from GTE AM where the bronze driver is paying the bills or else the entire grid would just be prototypes.

Pro class should never be revised, even considering its high cost and the abundance of alternative series. In the eyes of people who call themselves a WEC fans, they will only see and remember the car manufacturers and not the team or driver. GT3 has always been a customer-friendly series, so each driver is important regardless of class.

And if you mentioned Bronze, Don't use the word Pro-Am anymore for gt3. Unless the race is limited to one country, Such expressions are now disappearing.

It's clearly obvious by the oversubscribed LMGT3 entry, subsequent selection criteria, & the final makeup of the 2 car manufacturer entry that there was an OVERWHELMING demand from MANUFACTURERS to be represented in the category and therefore every indication that there was ABSOLUTE appetite for a Pro class. Do you really think manufacturers want Bronze drivers in their cars when they have paid factory Pro drivers under contract they aren't allowed to put in the cars? You live in a complete delusion. Also, Pro-Am is a current class ... if you watched GT racing you would know that, so rather sit back down before you embarrass yourself further. You MUST be looking for attention or something.
