One of the big challenges in golf for all levels of golfer - including the pros - has always been hitting long irons consistently well.
Updated designs of more forgiving ‘driving’ or ‘utility’ irons have helped however to solve that issue to an extent but how many of the top pros are actually using these clubs?
In this video we take an in-depth look to see
- how many of of top 100 PGA Tour are pros are using driving/utility irons
- the brands and models they choose
- how far they hit them and
- the trend amongst even this elite group for choosing more forgiving longer irons!

Fantastic video,going to dhare this with many friends. Have a 15 degree utility,2,3 and 4 irons and no driver or hybrids, all are wilson staff. For me its pure golf to hit that 1 or 2 iron over 220 yards,the feel,flight and sound. Well done again on impeccable research and information in this video. Thank you again,a great channel.

@@GolfingFocus thanks to you.. vidéos on wedges,angles used and where. Or best clubs out of rouge,trees,long grass,sand etc. Just a few suggestions on future vidéos. Superb your présentation and commentary. Thanks again

I play a Titleist T200 3 iron with the HZRDUS stiff shaft in it, really just use it off the tee on shorter par 4s when it's a tight fairway and the wind is blowing 👌
