I love his perspective of valuing efficiency over routine for meetings. I cannot tell you how much time is wasted on formal meetings that are not productive. He is clearly focused on time management and efficiency-a breath of fresh perspective in my world! The more I read about him, the more I admire his willingness to create his own path of leadership. He will do great things because he is willing to put forth the time and effort, not conform to procedures that are ineffective and he is hands on-very much in tune with frontline challenges. Very impressive!!! I wish I could afford a Tesla vehicle. I would buy it in support of a great visionary leader in the industry. Perhaps, one day.

The answer is you have to go quarter of the earth circumference to get back to your starting point, so no were on earth with one mile.

You could also walk south to where the circumference is 0.5 mile, take 2 orbits and go back north. Same for circumference of 1/3 of mile with 3 orbits and so on.

A new Tesla shop opened up in my city, so I applied there given my extensive knowledge and experience in electronics, cars, EV's, computers, etc and would be willing to learn the rest of it for Teslas specifically. _I never heard anything back from them_ So im just going to finish my degree and hope for a job in networking or something related.

I will never pass it, as well as I can pass it. Depending on the situation. I do the same kind of interviews... and even with both silent and not, and even with just simple actions, now you know too with all the humility. You should try it too. Afterall, I think I know that there is similarity when it comes on who we are hiring are.

How many Teslas (a Serbian!) are left aside (even those with degrees from US Univs.) because they are not US Residents/Citizens)?!! 60% of STEM Ph.D.s granted in the USA (~1000 people/year) are foreigners, and most are forced to leave the USA after graduation. As I had to do, with two MSs plus one Ph.D. in High Density Energy Physics and working as a Photonics Engineer in High Power Lasers. There 3 to 5 times more openings than Ph.D.s graduations in both HEDP and Photonics!) But the US Government has a wasteful Resident Visa Lottery of 50,000 yearly!

I think I have what it takes to work with Tesla but sadly I didn’t make it to the interview stage. I’ll be beefing up my resumé in order to catch their eye. I want to be a production associate at Gigafactory Texas. I believe I’m a good problem solver and work very well in a team environment. I have no degree and I’m only 22 but nonetheless I will continue to apply until I can prove myself worthy to be apart of this amazing company.

He is not a machine. He gets tired and that's why he hires people to Help him. He is never satified means wanting even the smallest detail of work be included in the project or outcome that he desire. It's complicated to explain but have you ever want to create for example a website, you hire someone to do it but doesn't really get what the look you wanted.. We want people to work with us to help us but you have to understand that they will not surely get every even the smallest detail that is in your mind. That's why when you're just starting, it's better to do it yourself. If you're a company, you'll surely need people to reach a certain big goal.

@@webdev8284 the space race in the 60’s took place over a decade, when we learn about it now we see that decade plus in a compressed way that makes it look like there was so much happening all the time. Perhaps people back then didn’t realise how tremendous it was because they were not seeing it all in a compressed format like we see it now. My point is, what is happening now might not seem as amazing as what happened in the 60’s, because it doesn’t seem as fast paced. But, maybe we are living through a period which is similar to the space race in the 60’s but we don’t realise it.
