Only two things I consistently apply from FlyLady home organization method: the value of a clean kitchen sink and starting off every morning dressed "to the shoes." You never know what is coming your way. Easier to face it fully dressed and wearing at least concealer and eyeliner. Lipstick if I am leaving the house. I tell my kids that no one wants to be surrounded by schlumpy people all day.

I really love Your style and I wrote few days ago that I still didn’t found my own. The mix of camel brown and black. Love the shapes because any size can wear them. I am obsessed with Adidas grand court shoes. They just came out with a black base and white stripes. I like to pair them with skirts and T-shirts.

I love to see the blazers with jeans. I have a huge collection of blazers from the days when work was far more dressy. So yeah they're either officially vintage or well on their way. Been debating whether to donate them or keep some and find ways to style them with more casual clothes. I did love wearing them.

Love these outfits. The sweatshirt outfit gave me an idea for work. I love to dress up when I am not working, but work at a salvage yard, where I can’t wear my nice outfits so it is always nice to have ideas on how to dress “down” but still look good. I would love to see a video on how to wear sweatshirts, tees, and layers and still look edgy and esthetic.

I enjoyed the outfits and styling as much as the insight into your week! I am the same, I dress up for any and all given occasions. During lockdown I dressed up to go to the supermarket, haha. I also dress nicely for hockey momming LOL! Fortunately I have needed to go to work in person at least part of the time all along, so I could justifiably push the boat out (even though there were about 5 other people there 😂).

I used to love a Saturday when we didn’t have to go anywhere or do anything! In fact I still do, even though we’re retired. I watch cooking shows. My kids loved TGIF and Saturday morning cartoons. Love your Sunday jammies, wear them all day if you want! Also you look fab every day of the week!

Really good. My Mon-Fri during a working week in winter is my black Acai thermal trousers , a thermal top and jumper, comfy ECCO shoes and my warm mustard Trespass puffa coat and knitted beret ( I love hats). I wear skinny stretchy jeans indoors. On a weekend I dress up a bit to go shopping, smart jeans - just got some really nice Barbour jeans in the sales, I also have a black Barbour roll neck and some Gabor black ankle boots. For days out I have lots of nice outfits in my wardrobe. I do have my own style- quirky chic with a bit of country, but I can also be a bit chic goth or chic glamour too depending on my mood.

And this particular video is very helpful and motivating. I try to get a bit more intentional about morning drop offs outfits. Certainly have a few more years till I graduate to purses and handbags. Been rocking an everlane backpack for the last 4 years…. Toddlers and purses are not compatible in my current COVID world.

I just love your edgy style vids. I'm a 90s kid and I still love some of the great pieces that I can still fit. I have the coolest black/white Ramones tee shirt that is faded and worn, but stillll so good. I style it with the softest skinny ankle jeans, and a grey/blk/white patterned cardigan that plays well against the bold white "Ramones" letters on the tee. I complete the look with either my Gucci furry mules, or black patent/lightly studded loafers. I do my lil Emily strut (in my mind) and I dare anyone to tell me I'm not too cool for skool!! Just got the sweatshirt turtleneck on sale! Unfortunately the stripe wasn’t available but I got the burnt sugar color. I love taupe. 😊 Oh, and I am absolutely getting a harness belt. Found one on Amazon that is a double belt rather than a wrap. How did I ever get dressed without you? 😂

Thank you for your great content, Emily. You have inspired me to build modules with the pieces in my (huge) wardrobe and recreate some of your looks. I've been loving it! However, I've been struggling with layering the top pieces. Whenever I put a sweater beneath a blazer, or a turtleneck beneath a shirt and sweater, it looks really bulky. Do you have any advice?

Love this! And love your channel! Newish subscriber that is close to 60 years old. I’ve looked at more “my age” channels and they just don’t speak to me like yours. I have trouble with weight fluctuations. How do you suggest managing a wardrobe that changes sizes. The obvious would be control the weight, but reality is I still need to get dressed. Hello Emily, my compliments on this video! It made me subscribe to your channel :) Loving your style, both in fashion as well as presenting. You didn't mention the slippers you wear with your PJ's. They look a bit like mine (brand: Camper). I think the oversized tops really suit you! One remark: to my eye, the purses you choose seem very small, almost as if they 'drown' in your coat or blazer. You seem quite tall, and I wonder what oversized purses/bags would do to your outfits. Would they look too bulky perhaps? Or maybe it's the stiffness of the bags you presented here that seem a bit out of balance to me. I'm no specialist at all, but I guess I was just surprised to see you choosing these types of bags.

Love this. I get dressed everyday too. The big difference for me is, I never put on shoes. I wear slippers because I work from home. The thing that I haven’t liked about that is, now I have a hard time knowing what shoes to pair with my outfits when I do get out and about. I used to be so good at my shoe game. 🤷‍♀️

I’m genuinely quite curious. So. You WFH right? Other than taking your son to school/ errands. Do you wear shoes on a daily basis? Or was it just an “if I was going out I’d put these on”? I see American girls wearing shoes indoors all the time. I just think it’s strange, you’d never find that in Europe. I LOVE cozy socks and my slippers. But they do tend to drop your style points!

In my part of Europe it is normal to wear shoes indoors. I grew up that way. People had the common sense to wipe their feet on doormats both when leaving and entering, if a visitor (only removing shoes if really dirty). Permanent residents might opt for slippers but this was not compulsory. NOBODY thought this was wrong. Normal levels of dirt were dealt with by regular use of such things as brooms and vacuum cleaners. The custom of removing shoes seems to gradually been introduced during the last few years within a certain percentage of the population. It is clearly a habit brought in from abroad.

I’m just put off that whenever I see shoes I want, they didn’t make them in my massive chickfoot size. men’s shoes always have the arch 8n the wrong place for my flippers. I soooo wanted the B&W split #TwinsShoe from the Winter ‘21-22 season, because it literally matched my Fox terrier’s B&W face… silly, but true. It amazes me Camper isn’t popular in 🍁 #CanadianFashion, because their new soles are 💢 designed by #MichelinTires 💢 & we Canadians LOVE a solid tire

I don’t find this edgy or chic. More like depressing and grunge. Like a woman trying to look like a teenager. Not trying to be mean. Just giving my opinion.
