Dang man my passenger seat is my desk🤣. I’ll look into that. The video the one I have takes is pretty good but it’s a super wide angle shot an the picture quality is complete garbage at night. I almost hit an antelope last time I was in Wyoming. Video made it look like it was 100’ away 🤣

I do that for most carrier packets. I do print off hard copy rate cons to file with BOL’s though and there’s a few state and business things that I have to print and sign and mail. Like quarterly tax vouchers and stuff. Also I’ve gotten terrible carbon copies of BOL’s before that I’ve had to snap a photo of and adjust the contrast just to be able to read everything on it. That’s more so for the factoring company. I use it pretty often.

I just use a cheap suction cup mount from Walmart. It sticks to the bare plastic on the dash.

When I was hauling freight I used it all the time for carrier packets and rate cons. Now that I haul cars I don’t use it nearly as often. Basically just print gate passes and BOL’s if I run low.

Does it have an app? Also hit easy is it to transfer video?

It’s an Officejet 250 all in one by HP. The truck has a 300 watt inverter built in with a plug on the dash.

Jim M. 🤣 yeah it’s a little price heavy. Any mobile printer will work though. I’ve seen some under $100 that are the same size if not smaller. They’ll just be slow.

Yeah I just run a hotspot either from my phone or my tablet. I usually max out my tablet data first or wait to upload videos when I get home.

Use a phone with unlimited internet. The trick is buy a factory new unlocked model off Ebay from a high volume seller. The factory unlocked don't have the tethering GB counting abilities/control of the branded devices. I've tethered hundreds of Gb/mo for like 3yrs. Unless of course you want a backup device from a 2nd major carrier

Elite. There’s so many perks. The ability to search by weigh in your parameters is crucial for partials. You don’t have to weed through so many loads that don’t pertain to you. It’s worth it for me. I do things on the fly and my time is limited. It’s absolutely worth it.

As long as it’s an approved device you can run any ELD

Nah not dumb at all man. I really use my tablet for a big screen GPS and my logs. I rarely do anything else on it. I use my laptop for searching loads because the mobile versions of loadboards are terrible and to do my video editing for KZfaq. Plus a ton of storage.

Printing various things I need. Carrier packets, rate confirmations, BOL’s if needed. Any paperwork I may need for state filing and so on. You’d be surprised how often you need a printer out on the road. I’m not paying a truckstop dollars per page to print things off for me lol
