Ive said it before and ill say it again, you are my single biggest inspiration. Just watching you go from daydreaming to actually achieving your major goals, even with all the stuff going on in your life, really made me understand that everything comes from hard work and dedication, and seeing that happen in real time has been so wonderful. I see art in a whole new way now. I hope the best for you. I hope RR gets an anime

Hey DMark I just wanted to check up on you, I know how stressful art can be and I'm just an art tweeb, an art baby, and I sometimes tider on the edge of depression over it, but never give up, and it's okay to take a break, but NEVER throw it all in the trash when your at that breaking point, keep going , we're here for you.😄💪🏾

The best definition of success imo really is happiness in this moment. The mentality of "I will do this thing so I can be happy when I complete it", as you described, just creates an infinite loop of wanting to be some place you're not, followed by a brief moment of happiness when you achieve it. But if your mentality is "I'm doing this thing because I love doing it", then you're successful every day. You're enjoying the journey, and the destination is just the cherry on top. Then because you're following your passion, that's when you truly develop skills that result in financial success because passion is the best state of being for learning and for activating creativity.

I take success as mini sucess and a big success. Like goals basically. But the overall success I want, is to feel free. Especially since nowadays everyone probably feels trapped, whether in their mind or a situation. Also success for me is to be able to make my stories and be able to support me and others.

It's really nice to hear from you again DD Mark Life's been Shit lately and really I haven't found a way to move on and try to be better I'm an artist myself and I'm attending an Animation school, which is what I was working towards but now I'm here it's hard(More like "Than what thing" I don't really know if I deserve to be there or if I'm ready.)... I'd say the hardest part is in the second semester it's been really hard doing the 3D assignment but I'll keep on pushing to get it done that's the least I can do... I personally want to Know Why I'm doing art in the first place too and hopefully, I find that passion I once had again.

I have reach a "favourable and desired outcome" indeed after receiving your tips and watching your videos! I've finally published the first part of manga on Manga Plus Creators (The Clan Of The Blade) and it's doing pretty well for a self-taught first timer! Hey Bro success to me right now is knowing my own values and curating my life based on those values also success isnt based off of outside rewards. Remember success in life is what you find deep within you and as long as you have the things you truly care about then that is what I call success. Thats why a guy in bali making close to nothing can find more joy and fulfillment in his life than most is because he sticks to his values and beliefs and no matter what the lessons we leave here on this earth for other is a gift only you or I or they can give. Not shou tucker😅😭 I think success often gets tied to money/fame when it should be focused on the goals themselves and the smaller milestones that were achieved on the way to those bigger goals. At the end of the day, only you can define what success looks like for you.

Please read this comment, Mark. I highly recommend you read or listen to a book called the molecule of more. It's about dopamine and other brain chemicals and how they affect people's motivation, the reason some people never feel complete or content after they achieve the things they pursue, and a ton of other insights that will seriously answer a lot of your frustrations. When I heard this video I immediately thought of this book. You are going to want to get it

If it's about financial stability or sustainable income for your craft, then you'd have to be original enough and go out quite a lot. You'd have to go to museums, comic conferences, schools, and do whatever you should to market your manga to your consumers. if you can sell 200000 to 400000 copies of your manga, then it's a decent amount of success. So yeah, you'd have to not limit yourself to the internet and online publishing. In other words, you have to learn real world marketing skills.

You said growing up your life wasn't PG? If you did. And people know that some people grow up in similar situations. And still expect you to be PG isn't that oppression. I feel like it is, I can't talk to anyone about my upbringing. If I could I feel like I'd be easier to get rid of some trauma or be better at dealing with it. Just feel like things need to be better to non PG upbringins. But that's enough from me. Hope you're getting through the success that brings you fulfilling happiness 💪💪.

I would think when you have accomplished your goal(s) that you set out to do? Like, for example, as an artist making a living off your art so you never have to work a 9-5 on a regular basis? XD Thats a very good black clover fan art!
