My favorite gadget in the utility belt is the good ol' batarang and grapple gun! 😃🦇

In my opinion the essential equipment should be stored and integrated into the suit itself: grapnel guns, smoke pellets and batarang launchers integrated into the gauntlets, communication equipment breathing equipment and cameras, night vision and infrared vision integrated into the cowl etc. So that every item is literally already at hand and able to be instantly deployed. The belt should mainly provide empty storage space for things found on the field.

I have a theory that Batman learned magic tricks during his time learning to become Batman. He learned the most basic spell that allows for small areas to be expanded beyond their normal volume, basically giving small pouches the capacity of backpacks. That's how he caries so much stuff within that tiny utility belt of his.

As long as it's not a "Bat Fanny Pack" I would totally sport one! 😆

Do you really have to ask? We all know every pouch in his belt is used to carry JUSTICE. Swift, precise and painful justice. That, and shark repellent.

Although Batman himself is a most outstanding hand-to-hand combatant, the belt is definitely a difference maker in certain situations, whether dealing with multiple attackers or multiple crises in different planets. It's even helped out the Justice League a few times. A definite must have!

He also has the Bat-missile-stopper gadget in his belt that could prevent Lex Luther from using his two rocket that not even super speed couldn't be catched at the same time in Superman 1978

When I was a kid in the early 90's, I remember in the original Batman cartoon, back in the 60's, where the Catwoman of that particular animated show me that quote saying "He carries a hardware store in that belt of his." As far as the tools that he carries in his belt I definitely like the grappling gun as well as the batarangs are the key principle, along with the other tools that he used during the Arkhamverse games.

My favorite gadget is the Bat-Pez dispenser he uses when he gets hungry on patrol. Each tablet is shaped like a bat.

I liked this video, and, I found your tale on Batman's Utility Belt, informative and entertaining! As you mentioned, although there are some things that are USUALLY going to be in the belt, there's going to be times when a specific mission may need specific tools/materials, to accomplish a mission's objective, like, as you mentioned, Kryptonite! You also asked if Batman, without the belt.would STILL be Batman, to which I answer with an unequivocable YES! I refer you to Batman: Year One, in which a Batman, still new to his mission, is chased into a three-story building, which is firebombed WHILE he's still in it! Not only does he survive the bombing, he manages to take out a fully armed SWAT team with automatic weapons, WITHOUT. his Utility Belt, having lost it in the ensuing fire from the previous bombing! I would say that Batman, without his Utility Belt is just as dangerous, if not moreso, due to the fact that without it, he has to get VERY down and dirty, ESPECIALLY when confronted with stronger or more numerous opponents!

Batsy has enough strength and smarts to cope with just about anybody, but sometimes these may not be enough. The utility belt and its contents come in handy, especially since The Rogues Gallery doesn't always play fair. The utility belt perfectly compliments Batman's more "natural" talents and abilities and is a big help in his fight against crime.

The fact that Bruce serves the people while wearing a bomb/impulse rocket-belt on his waist is just insane.

It must also be pointed out that another purpose of the utiliy belt is it functions as pockets. Same principle applies to Captain America who, despite not using any gadgets, needs a small compartment on his waist. Hence, the utility belt.

Okay, you’ve done a video on the utility belt. Now you need to do a video on the Bat-suit, including the cape. Also, possibly some of the specialized variants of the suit that he has used in the comics. For example, during the “Knightfall” storyline, when he went after Firefly, he wore the flameproof version. But, let’s *try* to steer clear of suits like the black and silver one from “Batman & Robin”. Only the ones that are more legitimate.

I’m pretty sure that like McGuyver and Chuck Norris, in the President’s Man, Batman will and can make use of any everyday item as a weapon if caught as Bruce and without his utility belt to get out of sticky situations. But maybe that’s just me.

Batman’s mind, will and skills are why he is Batman. But sometimes to save time when dealing with guys like Bane and Killer Kroc a tranquilizer batarang comes in handy.

His skills are enough to take criminals.... but still the belt plays an important part because when he get caught up in tight condition.... there's always something in that belt to help him get out most of the time.

I think Batman's Utility Belt is Largely is an Extension of him, where as with out the Belt he is Good but with the Belt he is simply that much Better specially in Hand to Hand Combat. But I do admit his Utility Belt is mainly just there for his Detective Skill although he could probably could do with out it, and to Help him out of Trouble.
