I agree, I actually saw the IG reel and prior to that I thought this was the perfect bag in the perfect color! 😍 but then seeing them side by side I was like ohhhhh….so if you have regrets, absolutely take it back ( and maybe get the lavender!)

Yes, I said this when you bought it, that I was surprised you chose that color because it was so similar to your raffia Dior bag. You said it was a different size, so that’s why you got it even though the colors were similar.

Hi Amber, i love that color too but you are right in that you already have the straw type bag that serves the same colorway! I would take that bag back and get the bigger laveder one instead! Keep the adorable cardholder though. That is SO cute with so many bags!

From the beginning the purple one got your heart and for a reason because it's a gorgeous shade of purple. Definitely the color of this year is purple because a lot of brands came out with purple bags and I'm not mad at it because I'm a purple lover 💜. So my advice is if you are having doubts... return it because as beautiful as it is you already have one that simulates that color 😊 keep us posted!!!

I bought the Dior D-Joy bag in Lilac small size in March while in Vegas. It is perfect...the handles go down, it would a different shape to your small Lady Dior and color. Something to consider. Have a wonderful weekend!

One thing I’ve learned in my designer bag collecting…if I have two similar bags in a similar color that fill the same place in terms of how I’d style and wear them, I inevitably gravitate toward one and favor it over the other. That leads to one bag getting all the love while the other languishes in my closet. Now that I’ve realized this about myself, I try not to duplicate similar styles/colors too much because I know one will meet the same sad fate of never being the favored bag. The reality is, we only have so many opportunities to wear our bags; depending on lifestyle, certain bags may only see the light of day a handful of times in a year. So my mindset now is to have a very curated collection and really look at my clothing and current handbag collection before making a purchase. It’s too easy for me to be impulsive and buy based on the sheer beauty of the bag and wanting to own it without considering if it will serve a purpose or have a place in my wardrobe. My advice would be to return it if you truly feel it won’t get the love and use it deserves. 💕

I think sometimes it’s easy to end up with similar items because it’s our style and it’s what we like. There’s nothing wrong with that. In this case, however, I don’t think there’s any outfit you would wear with the yellow where the raffia wouldn’t work just as well or better. It’s more versatile. I love the floral cardholder, and I would really like to see you look for a floral bag if that’s something you would use. It would be very unique from the rest of your collection. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.

They do look pretty similar next to each other. The raffia is more neutral so it goes with more things. Maybe return/ exchange for something else? I know for myself if I have redundant items I tend to use the new one and the old one just sits.

I agree they are very similar to each other. I don’t like my bags to compete either. I love to just reach for things that fall in there category perfectly including color. If I have 2 red bags for example they have to be very different reds or styles. But thanks for sharing because I do wants a lady dior mini next year so great to know what fits

Amber, totally feel you. They look so similar but yet so different! 😂 I recently went to the Dior store and saw the new spring collection with powder pink. The Dior letter charm also have a layer of pink material over it. It goes with cool tone and warm tone outfit. I think you might like it. But yeah, I would vote for exchanging the color to a different tone or maybe sell the raffia bag. I would never judge you if you return the yellow bag.

I think, since you showed us the comparisons, I would return it. It’s a beautiful bag, but they are very similar. I would get that lavender one. I think it would be absolutely beautiful on you. But of course, the yellow is beautiful on you as well.

Does the lavender color come in the D-Joy style? You mentioned towards the end about the handles not going down all the way, so you might like the D-Joy! It’s so cute while having the classic features. Plus it will add variety to your collection! 😊

To me, and I’m seeing this is an unpopular opinion, the color and iridescence of the yellow bag is so beautiful and unique! I think it’s the ultimate spring bag while your raffia Dior screams summer to me. I would keep both but that’s just me!

Amber, my 2 cents is , I do not think they are too similar. Case in point, I just purchased my 6th black bag, (which is the Lady Dior D-Joy BTW, but you seriously have me rethinking if I should have gotten the yellow mini! 😂) Did I need another black bag? No, but the thing is I reach for them all the time. So is it similar to what I already have, use, and love in the color sense? Yes, but I think the Lady Dior is stunning in black and had been wanting one for quite awhile. So, to me, it's not too similar, its a matter if I love the bag in that color. I really wanted a black version, I'm going to wear it and enjoy it along with what I have, and its nice to have options too. If you wear both of those bags and love them and enjoy them, I don't think it's too similar to keep. Love the yellow, I personally wouldn't return it if you have been wanting a yellow bag, you can wear it with everything from dresses to jeans and a t-shirt. I think we put too much pressure on ourselves to make the "right" decision when these are just fun things that are meant to be enjoyed! Hope that helps! I absolutely really love this cute yellow Lady Dior but to me, it will totally compete with your other one. Both are the same shape and very summer bags. At that price point, I would personally consider getting something a bit different that will add to your collection without competing directly with an other bag. But it’s stunning!!!

I absolutely love the color.I personally lean towards the d joy. It's a unique shape but, they don't always have the beautiful colors the lady come in. Maybe, you could see If they have it that shape ? The lilac is also beautiful. D joy handles flip down! That is a big bonus. I talked to my associate and she said they won't change the lady because it's a classic.

Hi Amber! I think you should return it and get the lavender one. That one was your first pick and that means it was what you really wanted. The lavender one is seriously the one for you. Even the size looks better. I remember when you liked the Chanel buttercup bag but didn't get it. Maybe you transfered your desire to have a yellow bag but it didn't furfill your liking with this design. I don't know...but definetly get the lavender one instead! Have a beautiful day :)

Hi Amber! If you have any doubts return it. Usually when I get a new bag I’m in my honeymoon phase and I want to use it everyday, style it every way. But if you’re already finding faults and negatives in the honeymoon phase I think it will only get worse with time and those 2 bags look extremely similar on video minus the iridescence. If you’re in love with that yellow pearlescent color, perhaps you can get the SLG in that same color to satisfy that itch.. good luck! ❤

I think you should follow your heart, it is telling you to return it. As for both bags working with many of the same outfits I don't think that's a big deal. When we have a lot of bags I think often times many of them could work for the same outfit. But at the end of the day this just doesn't seem to be bringing you joy and you deserve that! Based on your comments, I would suggest returning this buttercup yellow mini Lady Dior..as stunning as it is. But I will say that the pink/lavender version of this bag is Sooooooo so pretty 😍. Plus I really think that iridescent color shade would really fit your collection well. But either way, you need to feel 100% happy esp given the price tag! How do you feel about the d-joy? I do think these look a bit similar, but the D-joy in yellow would have a different vibe if you're set on the same color :) Plus the strap looks more comfortable and it has a magnet flap closure.

If you get another yellow I’d get the Chanel, I personally think it’s a prettier yellow. I’m not a Dior girl but if you’re set on Dior then maybe try purple or just wait for something else.

I agree with the other comments that you might want to consider doing the lavender Djoy instead! It’s a different style, the handles go down so it’s super comfortable even crossbody. (I just bought myself the medium djoy for Mother’s Day as well, it’s awesome!)

Both bags are beautiful. BUt at the same time, they are very similar to each other. In my opinion you could survive with one yellow(ish) bag. I am always thinking the cost per wear but I also understand that you are a litlle bit of a collector. 🌼

I prefer the raffia bag over the yellow in that style Dior bag. I would return the yellow and purchase a different style or even brand of handbag.❤️

I love the yellow bag, I would keep it. But only you know your needs...if you don't love it 100%, maybe you should consider returning it.

If that return reasoning is the case, then you wouldn’t have multiple pink and blue bags. You could have just one color of one bag and be done.

If you have doubts return it plus keep the perfume out of your bag if you plan to return it. You run the risk of a perfume smell that won’t come out 7:43

Hello, Amber, I ordered from Rose Forever and even used your code. My flowers were supposed to be delivered Thursday. Now they will not get here until next Tuesday!!! You can not talk to anyone and they do not respond!! These were for Mother’s Day!! 😢You can not even leave a review because they control it!! They only let certain people place reviews. Of course, they are all good!!

Personally, I would try to sell the Raffia Bag. I think the yellow lady Dior is a lot prettier than the Raffia.

Good Morning! Of course it is a beautiful bag, but I personally think it is too close to raffia. For the price of these now I like bags that wont compete with eachother.

Hi Amber. I saw your video unboxing this bag. I thought it was stunning. It's an absolutely beautiful bag and I also have exactly the same mini Lady Dior bag in the Lotus colour. I love it....but do I use it much? No! It's too dressy, I think, for an everyday bag. Also, as you've pointed out it's awkward to get in and out of. So, as an evening or special occasion bag, I could put up with that. As an everyday bag, it would be a nuisance. Personally I don't think it's anything like your raffia bag...but the raffia bag is so much more suited to being an everyday bag for the Summer. It's bigger and the raffia is more casual. So you need to decide whether you want to worship this bag or do you want to use it? After I saw your video, I went out and bought the mini Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag in the same buttercup yellow (colour is called Custard). I recommend that one if you want a similar yellow summer bag. So much more practical, more casual for everyday and a much better price point than Dior!

They are both beautiful bags, but in your video you can tell that you are not 100% sure so I would return it as well. I have wanted a yellow bag for some time now, but I was afraid that I would not use it so I just bought an inexpensive Coach one to see if it’s worth spending thousands of dollars on. That might be something for you to consider. They have a beautiful lilac color as well and the tabby 20.😊
