All 3 are great and in there own right. None will be better because all 3 have their own mechanics and plot.

Tekken 8 is looking great!

Really depends on what you're looking for. MK appeals to the western casuals the most because of the gore, and the fact MK is a big part of western game culture so MK1 might take the crown in that regard. SF6 is also looking at the casual market and is full of content and big prize pools for competitive players to enjoy, plus the gameplay is fun and satisfying. Tekken 8 on the otherhand will hands down have the best gameplay of the three, but we have no idea what singleplayer content is included yet. You want a casual friendly game with gore, and adult themes, but a short life span? MK1. You want a content rich, casual friendly game with a long life span? SF6. You want a more hardcore focused, mechanically deep, and complex 3D fighter with a long life span? Tekken 8.

Currently playing street fighter 6 and really enjoying the gameplay and story mode, looking forward to MK1 in September and Tekken 8 later this year I remember when these games came out with the original games and love they’ve come this far

Tekken 8 I’m easily looking forward to the most. I love Tekken, specifically 7, and so far tekken 8 is answering all of my prayers. Kazuya is buffed like crazy. Characters I hate have been toned down. Wall carrying is toned down. Designs are dope! Story seems interesting and looks like I will get answers to questions I’ve had for years. Gameplay looks exciting. I am FIENDING for this game! Street Fighter V left a bad taste in my mouth, but by the first big trailer for SF6 I was on board. Music is sick! The gameplay is genuinely FUN(I don’t even say that for Tekken usually lol)! Graphics- incredible. The game is a full package at launch! I’m thoroughly impressed so far! Mortal kombat 1………….look…i was a huge MK fan in my angsty teenage years, but I fell out of love with it after MK9. The NRS era of fighting games has been plagued with(imo) bad character designs, awkward close ups on weird facial animations, forgettable music, terrible story decisions, retcons, reboots, cheap nostalgia pandering, ridiculous gore, dull sound design, stiff and clunky animations, and gameplay I don’t personally care for. It’s pretty much unfair to compare MK1 to anything right now because it’s currently a nothing burger until summer games fest. If NRS wants me to invest in this game, it had better BLOW MY MIND like SF6 did and that’s a tall order in my book. Speaking of books, thanks for reading my novel.

I'm a huge fighting game fan and I love all the three games but Tekken 8 is I'm looking forward to the most especially the story. So many things to reveal, especially the return of Jun Kazama how it will impact the rivalry of Jin & Kazuya.

MK1 for me. I hope T8 has a proper arcade mode like Tekken 5, but I doubt it.😢

I don't mind this comparison honestly because these are considered the big 3. They've been around the longest and don't show any signs of slowing down. I personally think these are the best from each franchise: -Street Fighter 3rd Strike -Street Fighter 6 -Tekken 3 -Tekken 6 -Tekken 8 (I know it hasn't come out yet but I have a good feeling) -Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 -Mortal Kombat 11 -Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) (I'm still on the fence with this one so this may change)

Ive never played fighting games before but im excited for all three games. Im going back and getting mk11, sf5, and tekken 7 from ps plus to see which title i want to try first

Tekken 8 is set up to be interesting! I have my concerns with the direction of the next MK game with the whole "timeline resetting" thing, but i'm not worried about gameplay, i know it's going to be great! I'm just not entirely on board with this timeline reboot thing...i'm afraid lots of characters can be butchered like this, i don't yet another "zombie liu kang" situation...Right now T8 is tye one, that i have minimum negative concerns about as everything i've seen and heard about it sounds and looks great!…i just hope that launch roster will be significantly bigger than those of SF6...

Just the fact we're getting new games from all 3 franchises this year is a win alone.

I prefer the old tekken slow flow rythm based fighting where if you are new when you get hit and comboed you are like where did that come from. The new tekken looks so different very snappy and more like street fighte/mk but its style is what set it apart. We will see

they are all different games, different fighting mechanics to me. enjoy them. Boils down to which company is keen to retaining the hype for their game

Tekken 8. Day one. I think it's been confirmed for next year. I've only played a little bit of Street Fighter 6 beta and I just couldn't get into it. I tried to change the controls but it wouldn't give me the option to do so, so I just quit playing. I'm more casual, I don't put a crazy amount of time into fighting games, but I will say Tekken is my favorite traditional fighter starting with Tekken 5. I didn't care for early Tekken as much. When it comes to casual friendliness, I feel that Mortal Kombat has always been an easy choice for casual gamers because there are no charge attacks. Most casual gamers will just spam jump kicks or these special attacks rather than anything else and Mortal Kombat keeps it simple. However, I feel that for casual gamers to want to learn how to play, this is something that is easier with Tekken, and I say this from personal experience. Tekken 7 has where your characters will hit someone who will bounce off the floor or drop to their knees before falling on the ground. This is something easy to pick up on even as a casual. Same thing if you were to hit an enemy back and you see them bounce. It's like, does x character have an attack that I can follow up on against that? So then once you learn a combo, then you try to get hits that either bounce or cause the opponent to fall down, then you do that combo you figure out. Even if it's the same combo over and over, you still got a good combo to work with. With Tekken, there are visual queues to work with to understand what you're doing wrong or what you're doing right. These will tell you what your next action should have been so next time it hits you're better prepared. With a game like Street Fighter there's none of that. Street Fighter I feel isn't nearly as friendly as some people want you to think. Sure Tekken may have a lot of long juggles, but unless you hit a wall, the juggles will cap out at a certain damage point which isn't much a significant amount more than a simple power combo. Street Fighter has a heavy emphasis on your spacing between opponents, there's no visual queues on when the enemy is open after a certain attack hits, either the next attack comes in a somewhat quick succession or the character gains the ability to move again. There's nothing that tells you or helps you to understand what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong. Literally nothing to actually help you learn and get better compared to Tekken 7. This is also the same with Mortal Kombat, except with the newer MK games, there's still a variation of the dial a combos from MK3 that atleast tell you that you hit the wrong button. The attacks are in quick succession if you get the next atack correct, the attacks just completely stop if one is wrong and comes out slow. Tekken also does this. Once again on Street Fighter, all attacks almost come out at a negligible difference. About the only difference in speed you'll see is a target combo or coming from a low into a special attack. Now Tekken 8 has videos showing their new meter. You still have the rage art, but Tekken 8 includes this new aggression meter. You can turn this on and off before going in and then there are certain skills that will turn on aggression meter if you use an aggression point, these agression point attacks can also attack with no delay. Leading into combos that otherwise wouldn't be possible. This of course will be very helpful to pro players, but even casuals who are just attacking, hit an enemy with a power hit combo and then use the aggression point to just instantly start a new combo before they can recover. Would make anyone feel like they're good at the game even if they're really not.

All 3 are pillars of the genre and I'm sure MK1 will again look great, not a fan of the possible assists though. For me it will always be Street Fighter with a side dish of Tekken. I'm over MK. So far we only know much about SF but what we know looks like a COMPLETE package with insane details and care!

i dont know which are better but after the new gameplay of mk1 was out its even impossible for mk1 to replaced by any games despite it was fighting game but the hype and positive trend on internet that even never happen before

Damn now here is a tough question. All of them have a strong shot at being a beast for fighting games. I'm a huge mark for Tekken so it would be my primary as being the best but that comes down to game mechanics. I really enjoy Tekken's fighting style. Street Fighter 6 has a whole RPGish side to it that the big JRPG fan in me attaches himself to. As of today, SF6 is a 92 must play on metacritic. The game is gonna be very successful. MK I like, however, I have never been the fan of it that others have been. Its a historically important franchise and it plays great and is likely going to be a great experience. Officially....my take Tekken 8 is gonna be best, followed by Street Fighter then MK. Awesome video, thanks Joel, Gleez, Reggie and KAG!

For me, Tekken 8 is what I’m looking forward to the most. SF 6 will be universal for all to play. As far as MK, I’m really over all the gore focus and less Kombat without all the ninjas. As always, much love and blessings.💪🏾💙

MK1 is fenomenal bro don't you see the start up to a fight when we select a character and then they clash and banter at each other as the loading screen then cut to the stage like a cutscene. The assist mode also has so much varities of uses.

Sf 6 put the perfect balance in the competitive AND the casual side. Now I would like to say the same thing about MK 11, but they did everything wrong by locking most content behind a permanent online connection ( which is Anti Consumer), so I am still skeptical about MK 1. And Tekken , my favourite franchise completely messed up with Tekken 7, the Arcade was atrocious, there were unplayable characters and stages that could be played atleast offline, not many modes etc. I know tekken had a tight budget, but now they can come back strong. So in short, SF 6 put the bar high, which means that the competition needs to bring it on this time.

I think street fighter will take it. It looks like they put a lot more effort into it having more meat on the bone. Me being an MK fan, I can unfortunately say they just regurgitate the same game over and over just getting heavier and heavier with the cut scenes.

Tekken gameplay is just beyond mortal Kombat and street fighter anything could happen it's clearly the best and I play all of them and story wise its just so interesting

Im very much looking forward to all 3 games. MK is my home. My favorite game of all time. We literally just need to see gameplay on MK to determined its spot. Sf6 with the button layout and world tour will easily give casual players the BEST experience. One thing that isnt arguable...MK looks the best. 😎🔥🔥🕺🏾 so far SF6 has shown a lot of promises. Its way more than i expected capcom to bring to the table. Some major heat!! Plus they had a beta already and it feels complete.

Just because mk is finally having a tag/assistant mechanic for the first time makes a huge difference in the mk world and sf use of meter gives you some swaggy combos that haven't been in the game ever. Tekken looks mehh, so its between sf and mk.

I wish I was better at Tekken but I have historically always been bad at it. Tekken Tag was that last one I tried. But anyway, SF6 has managed to turn me into a kid waiting for Christmas! MVC3 was the last fighter to do that for me. The character design is finally catching up with other fighters and the animations are really good imo. Only a few more days and I can't wait. I will need to see the gameplay for MK before I decide on it. And I am not a fan of assist. Overall, I was a bit disappointed by MK11 gameplay. I prefer MKX.

I dont like Mortal Kombat's fighting system as much as SF or Tekken but MK has lots of in game content and offer lots of fun thing. Cinematics, story and character design are better than the others in MK. I am a Tekken fun and I prefer Tekken and SF (without SFV) instead of MK because of fighting mechanics but I admit that MK is the best if we consider all contents in game. However, it is too early to compare this 3 games. All I said is just guess. All of 3 games are very good and I'm sure that I spent lots of time to play any of them. :))

Mk 1 is awesome the new xRays are good the new designs and graphics are on another level, the plot is gonna be for sure perfect. What I dont like but actually dont care cuz im f2p is the guest characters they said that they gonna add milk lover i mean Homelander, Like Batman,Spiderman,Kratos (again) would be better. The reason i love generally Mk more then Street fighter and Tekken is because they got better combos,graphics and the characters and their abilities.

I believe MK1 will win out but Tekken 8 looks to be a middle of the pack 2nd place with Street Fighter 6 well behind in 3rd place it barely sold 2 mil in about 3 months ! they wont outright say it but Sf6 underpreformed and SF still hasnt outsold SF4 in terms of sales numbers
