I feel like this lady isn't understanding that what Chris is saying, is that all the actors get together on a soundstage and PHYSICALLY act out the scenes, including emoting with their faces. The only difference in what they're doing from "regular" acting is that they're wearing a mo-cap suit

(54:02) The soundtrack to the original "Donkey Kong Country" trilogy is really good, even before I finally played any of the games I listen to some of the music time to time over the years. If it wasn't for a certain lets play channel I probably wouldn't have discover the soundtrack or the games themselves. 🌴🦍🎧🕹🎼🐒🌊 (16:25) "This is where you fall down" lol. 🎮🥋😎🤼♂🐉

I love RARE so much. All the games they were involved in, absolutely Incredible. I would say my favorite RARE games are DKC, Battle Toads and Conker's BFD. But GOOD GOD.......Killer Instinct, Time Lord, Goldeneye Banjo Kazooie, it goes on and on. Absolute legends.

Hey Joel, nice video. I unsubbed back when MK1 released because all you were releasing at that time was MK shorts and such and I was scrolling through those every week. I know you don't collect anymore and you were planning on selling off your collection, but I really liked when you made reviews. They were really in depth and well done, the kind of detail I'd go into when explaining about a game(though I've never done video reviews.) I don't see a lot posted to your channel in the past year since, but if you started doing regular reviews I'd probably resubscribe. The reviews don't have to be modern or even if they are don't have to be new, even if you were to just do random classic reviews here and there that'd be cool. And no offense towards you for the unsub, always thought you were a really cool and really nice guy in your videos and whenever you responded. I just don't have the time to watch people stream regularly and I like checking out opinion pieces and such so reviews are great to look at. Like remember when you reviewed the guide to Japanese Role Playing Games. I bought that book because of your review and here's a great review you could come back with. At the end of the video you flipped through The Magic of Scheherazade page and was like "this game is awesome." And it is awesome, I'm so disappointed of the announcement and disappearance of the second one. Come back with a review on this game, describe the action based combat with spell casting that allows you to find hidden areas and dungeons, the turn based RPG combat that happens each time you go through screens, the differences in your classes making your sword and magic rod change throughout the game, the bartering system with the old man kicking you out of the shop, etc. You don't have to review that one, that'd be a really cool underrated game to come back to though that most people probably haven't ever played. Easily one of the best games on the NES. Passwords like 1W or W1 that either take you to the end of that world except for the boss maxed out or start you at that world at the beginning but with money, troops, food/drink, etc if you fail inputting the password three times because the ridiculously long and convoluted password system in which you are going to make a mistake in inputting it(or atleast you might) and then you'll get lucky and find out the game has that system in place to still send you to that world if you get it wrong three times.

Thanks man, no offense taken. It's really hard to continue to feed the channel when I don't have very many subs or people watching to make some money. I know people say it shouldn't be about the money, and they are right, but I am a film director in my real job, and with two feature films coming out this year, it's really hard to find the time to do reviews, so I just do them when I can. I do have some stuff in the works, but it's only when I have the time. Thanks for all your kind words.

Such an underrated game, I really wish Sega would decide to remake it now! Its really ashame that this game wasnt given the time to develop through sequels & rather that its daddy, Sega, decided to scrap it in favor of Virtual Fighter, a very sega of japan hatin on sega of america thing to do, im only speculating but who really knows. What IS true is that they decided to go with VF instead, in order not to double dip the market, meanwhile Capcoms like, hold my beer and instead doubles down dips, as they release 6 diff versions of SF2 lol. Dont get me wrong, VF is the OG 3D fighter and way ahead of its time, but imo, thats all it had going for it, everyone knows that 3d fighters at the time still had its kinks still to work out, BUT what really disappoints me is that EC never got a chance to show off its unique premise in its story or some of its different gameplay. EC essentially took fighters from all across time, from 10,000 BC to 2300 AD, in its selection of characters, where you have your blast from the past, brutal club bearing caveman, coming and rushing down a futuristic cyborgnetic, thai fightin champion, like WTF?! LOL in a good way. I believe given enough time, EC could become a very decent story if develed into more thoroughly. IMO, VF just felt derivative, i dont really know the story of VF, but something tells me MANY people havent a clue either, it was such a clone that even its name is a bore, "Hey Kids! u liked street fighter well, heres VIRTUAL FIGHTER!". Its essentially tekken without the crazy characters, where EC had that, plus even crazier and more instense fatalities than Mortal Kombat! called of all things OVERKILL! lol brilliant. I felt there was alot of creativity and enough uniquness harbored for EC that just goes unacknowledged. The little things as well, such as, starting off, the 1st game, we get both more than 1 female character AND more than 1 darker skined individuals, and even like SF, A green guy for good measure, showing more diversity than both SF and MK. There was also this unique fighting stage, think it was called battle room, where you could turn off and on stage hazards and items that slowed or sped up the game play, increased or decrease meter, etc. providing a random splash of insanity, that made for a Smash Bros like fight WAY before its time and without the ringout platforming. Once again, Sega drops the ball, Eternal Champions had great potential to be a phenomenal future fighting game franchise and I for one, had just as much fun playing it, as the SFs, and the MKs. Truely an underrated classic!

I love both series, and unfortunately being an xbox player has limited my ability to play street fighter until now. That being said, street fighter 6 is just amazing to play. Mk1 is ok, but its a bit flat. Sf6 is pleasing from the soundtrack, the colors, the ui, and so much more. It draws you in. The only barrier to entry is the sharp execution youll need to perform on a high level, but im definitely willing to put in the work!

You shouldnt review any JRPG when you have only made it into the game 4 or 5 battles. You cant accurately review any JRPG after just a few hours. Thats like doing a review on a massive novel after barely finishing the first chapter. Even most of the shorter JRPGs only just start to get going by that point. If you want to give an accurate review you really shouldnt review any JRPG you havent finished or at the very least made it most of the way through the game because you dont have an idea of what the game has to offer, you cant comment on the storyline because you havent seen it unfold, same with the character development, the depth of battle mechanics, the overall difficultly level as the game progresses etc. JRPGs arent like sports games, platformers or arcade games where you can get a good sense of what the game has to offer after a very short period of time. JRPGs are like interactive novels with battle mechanics that grow over time, especially in strategy RPGs. The whole point is grinding and overcoming obstacles to unfold a story. That cant be captured in a short period of time. If i rated Xenoblade chronicles 2 after 4 hours i would say its just ok, kind of slow game and give it a mediocre rating. The game took me 150+ hours to beat and by the time i was done it was not only a 10/10 game, but one of the best games i ever experienced.
