Guys I have followed Minshew for a few years and know his game very well. Last year the Colts were limited on Offense by only having Pittman and a 3rd round rookie (Josh Downs) at wr. The rest of the receivers and TE's are backups on most teams. Pitt had his best year in receptions & yards and Downs set the Colts rookie record with 68 receptions. And they rarely utilized their backs in the passing game. There was a lot of short and intermediate stuff however he was 3rd in the NFL in passes completed over 40 yards and 3rd in the NFL with passes completed over 50 yards. And he played less than the qb's ahead of him. Driving the ball with really good velocity on a line is his weak spot. He uses timing and anticipation to make up for the lack of zip. He will thrive if he has good skill players around him. Now one can say.. well everyone can thrive with great weapons. I don't agree. He only completed 30 passes the entire year OVER 20 yards. That's a low number however in 2022 when he was with the Eagles he completed 11 passes over 20 yards in only 2 games vs tough pass D's in Saints and Cowboys. He was able to do that cause he had AJ Brown and Devonta Smith and Goedert He's very smart and he will pick up the offense quickly. Chemistry needs to be built. Minshew has a lotta Moxie. Keep an open mind. He will grow on those on the fence.

I remember that throw in the raiders game vividly. That it was a dime. Never thought both AOC and Minshew would be on the same team tho. Haha. I'm definitely looking forward to this camp battle.

Minshew is a tough one to assess. He's about the level of a Derek Carr, but he's more a leader by example & more mobile. It *feels* to me that if he had more of a hard-working attitude _like_ Carr that he could up his game a notch but I think that he'll never have that kind of discipline. That he's fine with how he is so why change?

If you gonna show all the goods, make sure to show all the bads. To me, he's not starting over aiden, just a competition in practice

Raiders basically said we want to be picking 13 again next year and strike 1 for pierce.. Mark Davis only allows 2 strikes and youre out.

I like Aiden but minshew is going to be the starter.
