So you see a lot of videos of people buying silly things from Halfords and putting them on their car, but i'm intrigued to see how many serious parts Halfords have for my 1JZ Import Soarer which is incredibly rare and incredibly hard to find parts for... lets find out!

That red button, I had one in my car and I didn't know what it was until curiosity got to me one day and I pressed it. It got me through to the red telephone in Boris Johnson's office

The red button will probs be your rear fog light mate, I had one on my R33 GTST and for weeks I was convinced it was for a switchable map 😂 phwoahhhh can you feel the extra boost mate .... nah just blinding the poor f**ker behind ha

I can relate to those Halford speed bumps so much...thats every type of speed bump for me though. And i want to lower the scoobs more because of the wheel gap but theres no way i can, already cracked my front splitter. Great video tho Lee, missed the driveway DIY's

Think that red switch is going to the rear foglight ive had 2 imports and both had similar that were wired up to one of the reverse lights with a red bulb in it. Could be that?

What wiring kit did you get? Noticed the connections were already on the ends of the cables 😂 which would be a massive help for me

Lee if you go into google translate app and select Japanese, click onto the camera function and scan over any Japanese text on the car it will translate it into English. Little trick I learnt from the boys over at Mighty Car Mods.

Had a turbo timer before that couldn’t be turned of manually. Usually dropping the handbrake cuts it out

I got a button like that on my zlet corsa and it’s for Manual fan but I’m sure you’d know if. It was for the fan as you’d over heat

Do you ever plan / prepare for any tasks? Also why not take the time to check what the diameter/ mounting depth is required for the speakers so you get it right first time. What is the cause for them not working?

With the private plate you pay £80 to put it on retention then you transfer it onto your car using the retention certificate then you put it on the car then let your insurance company known

Seems like you appreciate better sound (musically) in a car, instead of standard. I mean you can even upgrade to a low budget system, still using that sub; but change the box to one slightly bigger and tuned, 4ch amp and component mids 😖 or even just a bigger box plus a mono amp 😖 The Soarer deserves it, Lee!

Number plate once on retention you can put it on a car at only cost is it change your insurance documents i have had my plate on a few different cars now and only get charged the £80

In relation to your turbo timer. When you stop the car with your hand brake on . Release the hand brake and car should turn off.

The red button is the gear-lever interlock release. If you car is auto it allows you to press the button and shift out of p without starting the car

Euro car parts sell oil filters for them that's about it. It's a jzz30 the 31 are the 3litre ones obviously u know what the red switch is. Careful on the door cards and plastic bits as they are on the brittle side. Plugs are dirt cheap off ebay "soarercentral" if you get bored hours of reading.

You only pay to take a private reg off. Putting it back on is free. But I’d do it within 14 days of your new insurance policy when you can make changes within your cooling off period. Some companies are pricks and charge you like £40 admin fee to change the plate.
