What Happened to Crainer?

Can you believe that Crainer would do such a thing? If you watched what I would call the PRIME Ssundee, you have to remember Crainer. Crainer was an interesting guy but there has been recent controversy regarding treatment of fellow youtubers. When Crainer was on the come-up, he actually USED people to climb the ladder, leading others to no longer trust him.
Since then, he has collabed with numerous other youtubers, however, after a while it seems like there isn't AS much growth as there once was but I wouldn't say his channel fell off, hes still making decent money for the views each video.
Again, this isn't to offend or CANCEL anyone, the video that Lancey made regarding the situation has been suspoiciously deleted. However, the evidence of this lines up time and time again in alot of vlogs, such as when Lancey did a video in which Crainer asked him why he didn't get a mini-fridge from Lancey. So do your own research and then make an opinion :)

I’m glad you covered this, I remembered watching an hour long rant that lancey uploaded to his channel where he ranted about this from his car while driving. Unfortunately the video might be lost, but I enjoyed his telling. I had forgotten the content, and this is basically what he said. It’s a shame this probably led to his disappearance, cause he was one of my favorite youtubers with the rare ability to adapt to the sensibilities of his aging audience.

New sub! Amazing work and research buddy. Now back to the video. It’s honestly so sad to see that Crainer would go so far as to do harm to people who genuinely cared for him to just turn his back on them and run for that money. I’ve first seen the situation happen back in 2018 when S and him stopped uploading together, and found out about the Lancey situation. Honestly sad and shocked. Too bad he’s like this, used to love the S and C duo so bad.

did u really think s and him would make videos for eternity? people change and crainer changed he wanted to do something on his own and he did and every yter is in yt for money they don't care about their audience as long as they are getting the money they make videos and if u watch crainer channel now days he's getting like 80-100k views per video yet hes still making videos so that explains he's not here for money maybe he is but he also cares about his audience

@@Cheese321 I do not think they would be making videos forever, especially if they want to do the same thing. It is just concerning to me how some of C's older track records seem to show he's been pretty ungrateful to those he's been working with. And I'll admit most YTers these days try to post for the money, and they can certainly still have the passion for it. Especially that they'll need the income to support themselves. But with C's being not so popular anymore, what else can he do if he doesn't post videos lol? If he stopped uploading, views would be declining even more than it had already. He still is on that grind no matter what, either for his passion or money or both.

Comparing old Crainer to the new one you instantly see how his new videos seem fake. Like his reactions his emotions. Like he's forcing himself to make the video and get it over with. I hope he sees what CaptainSparkelz is doing and how it's actually working out for him and goes back to what actually got worked for him and what he actually seemed to enjoy.

I think I got the full story of crainer. He first started with larrypooh but then immediately came to ssundee when he saw an opportunity. Then after a few years with ssundee, he went to jelly and Slogo, as ssundee’s Chanel was in a dark age. He got to like 7mil subs and decided he was able to hold his own on KZfaq without any big KZfaqr as a partner. When I was like 8 and watched the videos ssundee and crainer did together I thought they were genuinely friends, and maybe that’s what Ian thought as well. Turns out crainer has been hunting clout for the past 7 years, this man who lived in my childhood and I used to look up to has lost all of my respect.

Almost everyone on the internet doesn't know that Lance actually posted a video about crainer, you had to be subscribed to him to see it because you prob wouldn't find in recomendation. Video name is "mrcrainer the true story where i've been all my life" but it has since then been deleted. I don't know why but it seems kind of suspicious that a video that groundbreaking just vanished from the internet. Other small youtubers have posted videos on it but are low in views and it is not widespread knowledge.

Yeah! it has been conspicuously deleted for a while now. However there are some reaction videos to the initial video that are still up. Lancey is pretty underrated and deserves at least a little bit of credit and recognition.

Great video. You also should've covered how he did videos with Josh and Jelle (Yes, that's how you spell his real name) for a couple years and they were really successful, but about a month ago they just stopped making videos together. All Crainer's done since is solo Roblox videos. Josh and Jelle removed him from their recommended section, their descriptions, and never mentioned him again. It sounds like he did something else even more awful if they would go as far as to put in so much effort to purge him from their channels. It's really suspicious.

This is why the climate of Minecraft KZfaqrs are just built different. Even after all the stuff Crainer did in the past, he's still able to cover his tracks to still have a stable career, because that's what impressionable children fans are capable of. Keeping someone's reputation strong for the wrong person. Same with SSundee, when exposed drama was released from NeoMC (his old mapmaker), SSundee is still able to brush it off like nothing and continue going on with his career. Minecraft Letsplayers were always a dark place, and that has not changed since.

Neo thought Ian and him were on a level where they’re good friends (since theyve worked together for a long time), but Ian later said to him that they *aren’t* friends but just business partners, and that there was never anything special between them other than work. Again, what he said in that video is not 100% confirmed since there was little to no actual evidence, and he couldve just been lying out of attention. But then again, he DELETED every one of his videos with SSundee in it, so I believe him for the most part. Video title was like: Why I Stopped Recording With SSundee

Just a little info correction, I believe Crainer made videos on Minecraft and some other games with Jelly. Idk haven’t watched him since he started doing Fortnite a while back, but I stayed subscribed and I saw a ton of stuff that was not roblox. Scrolling through his channel it seems he only started that after he went his own separate way. I guess that’s where he found success after he stopped having bigger you tubers to piggy back with.

Something I find interesting is that Thea’s (Crainer’s wife) channel is gone. Crainer and Thea (the channel’s original name) was very entertaining. It had good couple banter and their personalities were great. Later, after a good long upload break and their marriage, it rebranded to just Thea and their friends pat and Jen playing together. Now, the channel is gone and Thea hasn’t appeared anywhere on Crainer’s main channel. Do with that info what you will, but I just find it fascinating that Crainer’s downfall, more or less, was caused by his content focusing on himself. His best stuff always had more people to bounce off. Well as Ssundee said “and we both know that your video’s are only good cause I’m the entertainer”-Crainer diss 2.

I started watching crainer when he recorded with slogo and jelly. When he stopped recording with them it was mostly fine.He started uploading roblox simulator/tycoon games only, I got bored pretty quickly because I was uninterested in that content. It was fine when he made it once in a while but not every single day. I'm still subscribed to him, but rarely watch his KZfaq videos.

Hey Crog, how's your CTR % on the video? Just wanted to ask lol. I think there's a phenomenon with youtube where impressions from suggested is based off of previously successful content of the channel. (Basically the algorithm trying to find your target audience based on previous uploads).

I watched ssundee and crainer videos for years, I loved their content together and every video they made had me amazed, when i found out they didn’t post together anymore a few years ago I was heartbroken, their new content is way more kid oriented and the new videos they make (especially crainer’s) are almost unwatchable to their original fans Thank you for making a video on this subject I feel like a lot of people don’t know the truth about crainer’s actions you got an immediate sub from me this video was super well made also #crundee

I mean this video didn't explain situation quite well, pointing out the negatives has been done till end but there is more to it than just it. Lancey & crainer did talk it out later, and last time I checked lancey was his manager. But at the end of the day, only trainer can explain what happened between him and lancey and now between him and Jelly.

Most KZfaqrs are always in it for the money. Even me. Yes I was once a content creator, I have around 178k on my old KZfaq channel. However most people just wanna do content for fun which I also did before hitting a 100k subscribers. Once you become successful your not doing it for fun anymore you just do it for the money which is one of the reasons I just decided to quit uploading content. I realized I'm not having fun anymore.

Understand what you mean. Any young creator is appealed by the idea of making money doing whatever you want. However after a while, those numbers just become, well, numbers on a screen, and people lose interest in making videos. No one wants to be stuck at a job that's miserable for them. Glad you chose to do something you enjoy!

@@Crogg one more thing that jelly, crainer and slogo don't make vids together now they also unfriended crainer or crainer unfriended them but in slg aka slogo's old 2nd channel slogoman made a rp I guess vid on there and when jelly reacted to it after that he reacted other 2 or 3 vids (look at the last minutes 5 or 8)you can see crainers video is there (jelly is reacting to it)

you didn't mention the part where crainer made vids with thea, also crainer didnt specifically join Jelly. He met slogo and then slogo showed crainer his best friend, Jelly. Then they became yt best trio but then.. Trainer didn't wanna be with them because they were kinda rude
