Nonetheless, it’s a different story when it comes to “Garage Squad”. Despite focusing on fixing cars on TV, the show hits close to home for pleasing that section of the audience who know how to do the job, but don’t have the time or energy for it.
While the Motor Trend’s show has been fascinating us since its premiere in 2014, there’s no denying that the series’ former co-host Cristy Lee had our individual attention for a long time too.

I have been watching garage squad and are amazed at Christy lees enthusiasm towards cars! She put a lot of so called mechanics in my Country to shame as a lot seem to just guess but in saying that that is because I had some bad luck in getting my cars fixed before I done the work myself and saw there mistakes. But at the same time we have some of the Best in the world as they know cars back the front. As I watch Christ's work she really loves her position where cars are at and as a ex-mech myself ,cars are a great job and pastime for anyone who has cars 🚗 in there blood. Go Christy,keep up the good work. 😎💖

First of all, Heather did not leave the show to pursue other interests. Producers decided to place Cristy in the show and so did not renew her contract. As we now know, that was a big mistake. Heather was a much better fit with the team as many people were upset when she did not return for season 6. The producers, for some reason, thought Cristy would step in and take the show to new heights, but that did not happen. The chemistry with the other members was never there, and this was evidenced by the attempt to make a love interest with Bruno. Epic failure. As sexy as Cristy appears, she just couldn't pull that off. She is too much of a tom boy. Anyway, that is my 2 cents, as we can see, they brought in Bogi to restore the show to just working on cars. We miss Heather.
