KZfaqr‪@deefizzy‬ sat down with idobi Radio's ‪@nickmajor‬ to discuss what lead him down the path of becoming a KZfaqr and him stepping back from the platform a few years ago. The conversation brings forward Damon's struggles with OCD, anxiety & depression and what avenues he's found help him best overcome his struggles.

i have the same medical problems as you, it's kind of crazy that ive been a fan of you since middle school but only until a year ago/now i've learned that you, someone i looked up to (and continue to!) goes through the same struggles i do, like on a hardcore level. thank you for doing this interview damon. i wish the best for both of us

My boy - I told you this on the phone, but may as well add in a comment for engagement points - you've come far with yourself since I've known you. Slowly but surely I can see you're on the right track and becoming less insecure. Happy to hear that CBT has been having a positive effect on you - it's like the buddy system without the buddy lol. Nice to hear you open up on this unique level. Keep working on yourself, brother.

Damon is so cute omg 💖😍 I think he is one of the most beautiful guys on KZfaq; not just because of his appearance but because of his personality. He's brave as hell to talk about this kind of stuff. I used to love his videos back in the day. Another youtuber mentioned deefizzy and I was like “holy shit, what happened to him” now I’m here and waiting for his comeback

This was such a good interview, I can’t wait to see new content from Damon. I started watching him back in 2011 I believe, and he was such a positive influence on me. Like him, I struggle with anxiety and depression, so I always related to him and felt less alone because of him and the fizzy family website he had.. I’ll never forget back in 2013 I was posting about having suicidal thoughts on Twitter, and he actually dm’d me a few times to ask if I was ok which was so kind and I still appreciate it so much now.

Im so proud of damon he has helped me thro so much hes such a great sweet caring funny and down to earth guy he inspired me to do mental health videos and tell my story he has come so far and it makes me so happy and proud to see him doing this

Such an amazing interview , like it seemed like it was such a good connection between Damon and Nick . Like Nick asked the right question and everything just feelt so easy , natural and genuine . I actually appreciate how open Damon was about his struggles. I do get and respect not revealing everything, if the person chooses not to, however, certain people portray a certain way. which just makes me question their intention, sometimes. i dont know them personally, but just certain things said/done seemed questionable to me.

It's ironic that he speaks about isolation so much here. I hope he's coping well at the moment during the lock down. Here in the UK, in 15 minutes, we're about to watch Boris give his speech that, we think will be the lock down announcement :( Keep safe everyone! And look after eachother!

I actually do that too. a lot of what Damon says. he has these "obsessions"/"fixations". i wouldnt say i have the compulsions/behaviours i physically did. I guess me just running away (figuratively speaking). Like i will hyperfocus on something and then either get bored, or not be able to handle something and then retreat.
