She wanted to release Unicron. Megatron met her first. She offered him the new body to go back and try and help release Unicron. He obviously didn't care to do that and decided to do what he wanted after he got what he wanted. The red mark on his face shows that she tried to control him but failed. Then she met Optimus and she was able to control him to help releasing Unicron.

My Answer: During the time between AOE and TLK, Galvatron probably somehow made his way to Cybertron via scanning a new vehicle mode and modifying it with Cybertronian tech in order to make it space worthy. While he was on Cybertron, Quintessa contacted him and lured him to her lair. There, Galvatron pledged his loyalty to the Cybertronian “god” and was rewarded with a new body that was as strong as his previous form back in ‘07. Thanks to this, Galvatron cast off his human given name and called rechristened himself as Megatron once again.

Hear me out, what if - in the Michael Bay universe - Galvatron and Megatron are two DIFFERENT people? A transformer's spark (soul) doesn't have to reside in their head, it can be almost anywhere in their body. What if KSI recovered Megatron's head but the rest of his body and spark were recovered by other Decepticons who managed to repair him. After his humiliating defeat, Megatron left Earth and went back into space - looking for the remains of Cybertron and that's when he encountered his "creator" Quintessa. Meanwhile, KSI downloaded Megatron's memories and personality matrix and thought patterns, etc, etc, from his castoff head, which AI like, end up taking over the new body. That's why Optimus Prime tells Galvatron that he has "no soul" because he doesn't have a spark, he's just a computer. Galvatron bounces off at the end of Age of Extinction and he is actually still out there, lying low when the REAL Megatron showed back up in The Last Knight. He doesn't show up because he might be having an identity crisis at discovering he's not really Megatron but a separate entity. In this theory, Galvatron never turned "back" into Megatron, because Megatron was never Galvatron (in the Michael Bay universe) at all.

I think it's funny that we as fans of the films want this explained badly, but literally the only explaination in universe or behind the scenes is that Hasbro wanted to hold onto the Megatron trademark. It's insanely frustrating. I've also personally felt that Quintessa isn't really the creators of the transformers, with the three different origins we got in 07, AOE, and TLK, and the fact that they were clearly planning to implement a variation of the Primus vs Unicron origin in the unmade 6th film, I feel like we were going to learn that Quintessa was a pretender to the title of creator...... But at the same time it runs into the same frustration as the Galvatron/Megatron idea because we just weren't given enough information and the end of this film series means it's unlikely we will ever get a resolution regarding the separate origins or the Megatron identity issues. And that just makes me sad, cause I genuinely don't like these films, but I love the cybertronian characters and would have loved to see at least some sort of resolution of their storylines instead of continual sequel baiting

Megatron had somewhat good intentions for his kind and his home showing he actually cared for his planet and his Decepticons somewhat but took it the wrong way by destroying other life just to achieve his goals. Optimus also wants to bring his planet back though not through violent means like Megatron.

I was of the opinion that after Prime left earth in AOE, Galvatron went to the ship and took a sword just like Optimus did, and THAT transformed his body.

Ok so I have a theory called, “car to robo part.” The name needs work, but the concept is, a vehicle part becoming a robot part by converting. Now you may be thinking, how does this happen? That only works with the ksi drones. Well yes it does work with ksi drones but it also happends with Mohawk and megatron in tlk. Proven by the fact that the only confederate motorcycle parts that he has on his body is his wheels. This also happends to megs because there’s no jet parts on his robot mode.

At 3 mins in Megatron wouldn't need to trash the military base to get an airborne vehicle mode. He'd simply need to wait outside its perimeter for fighter jets taking off and landing. This would also garner him less attention from the autobots

We need a full remake of transformers that serves it right similar to how spiderman got remakes which where entirely different from each other. And maybe in this transformers version the first movie would be on cibertron depicting the end of cibertron and the autonots going to earth en mass, while also increasing the scale exponentially with 1000s of autonots and deceptions instead of a small ragtag group.

Many people don't understand with Galvatron & Megatron. Both were same character, the only difference between these 2 characters is that : Megatron energon spark was on his chest, while Galvatron energon spark was on his forehead instead. Also, the reason why Galvatron become Megatron because he meet Quintessa. He made deal with Quintessa, and Quintessa willingly gave him new body. Galvatron isn't dead, but he just leaving his old body. Megatron new form/Megatron Knight more resembles his original form, Gladiator Megatronus.

I am very late to this but I think Galvatron had small thrusters that weren't that fast, So he used them to fly to lockdowns ship and flew it to Cybertron but he activated some tracking device that let him know how to get to Cybertron and after he got his new body but he couldn't fly yet and had to wait some more for his thrusters to work so he got in lockdowns ship and flew it to earth and landed it somewhere.

If you see the jet flying low to the water in the background at 3:08 if believe that this is galvatron because in the video you said that he had scanned some type of fighter jet which may be Galvatron passing by and possibly noticing that Optimus was going to his creators so galvatron hurried to beat Prime from getting there and is possibly why we never got to see Galvatron vs Optimus actually finish a fight and who would win but thats just my theory and a military jet would never fly that low so its probably Galvatron going to Cybertron

So one speculation is that Galvatron somehow flee to the universe and met Quientessa on the planet Cybertron, the Quientessa somehow changed Galvatron by restoring all Megatron's consciousness and feelings, and get rid off the KGI robotic body and gave Galvatron a new body as Megatron.

Ok so this another one of my own version of What if I survive story, this one is on the Autobot Jolt from TRoTF. I decided to make this my last story because some of other characters like Shatter and dropkick, skidds and mudflap, The Fallen, and sentinal prime. They pretty much run their parts in the movie. Now I am gonna add in Skidds and mudflap to this story and in my last story on wheel jack, I decided to put this as a tie in story, so let’s begin. So the last time we saw jolt was in the Desert battle and that was it, after the battle Jolt help Ratchet to repair some of the bots that are badly hurt, when they got back to America jolt decided to scan a new paint color and scan a silver color with some dark blue seats. When jolt hears about the base under attack he decided to go to skidds and mudflap to protect them and sentinal is already there, mudflap ask Sentinal “ what’s going on, why are we unde attack” while mudflap keeping sentinal distrated, jolt noticed a lot of rusty areas and shoots sentinal right in the chest, skidds asking “ why did you do that?” Jolt replay “ he is a traitor “ amd the battle begins. Skidds and mudflap shoots sentinal im the back while jolt shocks him in the front but sentinal got the upper hand and grabs skidds and smashed him against mudflap, jolt tries to give him a bigger shock but got shot by sentinal rust cannon and jolt has to rip his own arm off and gives sentinal a shock of his life. Jolt suddenly dropped to the floor and sentinal goes for skidds and mudflap to finish them off. Before jolt sees his demise optimus bashes against sentinal while ratchet drags jolt off to be repaired. Jolt wakes up and ask ratchet where the twins are and stunned of what happened. Ratchet said “ you were the lucky one “ Jolt reply” what about my arm” ratchet pulls out a new arm and told Jolt “ you now can get a stealf force mode”. Jolt decided to stay out of the final battle due to the fact he Can’t take much more of this fight. After the battle of Chicago, jolt went into hiding and was very damaged until he stumbled onto charger and wheel jack base, jolt was excited to see wheel jack but confused why he is with a desepticon. Wheel jack told jolt why is with charger and they been stopping Cemitary wind. Thats when things went black, when jolt got back up both wheel jack and charger are gone. He looks around to see what left. He saw the bodies of Echo ( the minicon boombox ) and fives ( the minidog that tirns into a blaster ), Jolt decided in honor of his friends he decided to scan the color of charger and tries to help bots, like wheel jack. He ends up running into prime at a gas station and told what happen on his end. Later he helped the autobots to rescue prime and what he found Charger roaming the halls with the dinobots. Charger was glad to see him but after the ship exploded he asked charger where is wheel jack. Charger reply with a sad face “ he...he sacrificed himself so that way KSI will lose there only bounty hunter, wheel jack had a history with lockdown and decided to even the score “, jolt was devastated to hear the news, the auto bots had a little party to celebrate a fallen hero. After AoE, Jolt goes to Alaska to make a new life, but that is when things went bad. Jolt runs into an old bot named sideways and the battle begins. Both jolt and sideways started to rip each other but finally jolt finally got the uppper hand and beats sideways. Low and leaking Energon jolt walks into the wilderness and dies of low temperatures and low Energon. His last place where he was seen was at Dutch harbor. Jolt could’ve been a awesome character. I really wish he was in the last 3 movies

This video makes the Bay movies look way more deep and full of lore compared to what we see on screen. This is an excellent video to be sure and I agree that everything said makes sense, but it goes to show how little the makers cared about continuity when fans have to fill in the much needed gaps.

9:19 Well technically, knights were meant to sevre their lords (In this case queen) as a loyal soldier. Plus maybe before Quintessa may, or may not, have found Cybertron she probably came from a different planet of mechanical or techorganic life (hence the Quintessons looking like a combination of metal and living tissue) and there they were sort of Medieval-like. And as soon as she left her homeworld, she created her own knights, and possibly her own mechanical body, as a certain way of feeling at home.

Galvatron is pretty good, he managed to overcome optimus, but i think megatron in tf5 is stronger than galvatron, so, megatron has evolved over a time

You know, this is one of the reasons I like the Bayformers universe. I know that some people hate bay’s version and they don’t explain things but technically they do they just hint it and this is one example. Another thing I would like to say a lot of is some people hate the Bayformers for certain things even though it happen to other transformers universe. The first example is Optimus dying and coming back to life. People hate it even though it happens to other version like G1 and tf:Prime. The second is the character design and they don’t look like they’re G1 self. The only problem is that other transformers series does the same. For example, the transformer Prime Arcee is Blue, not pink like G1 and that version of wheeljack is a member of the wrecker not a scientist. I can understand if it’s their least favorite design/Optimus death and recantation, but that doesn’t mean that Bay’s version is the worst tf movie ever

Michael did some good stuff and focused on some details. I hope he makes one more movie in the series. Also wanna see more of the aliens that made the battle robots.

I know this is late but something I don’t hear people talk about and why megatron got to quintessa first(other than the reasons you mentioned) is that Optimus didn’t go straight to quintessa. He went to hide the seed first as he said at the end of aoe. Just something I want to note. Also I think it’s very possible that galvatron could already fly, Optimus can. And megatron designed the galvatron body so he would have probably given himself flight. Any ways love these videos.

Here's my idea: the Galvatron body was stronger, but Megatron wanted more power & once he found Quintessa, she offered him a new body, a Knight she captured who has the power to heal other bots even there Sparks, his body was less powerful than the Galvatron body, but Megs took it anyway to repair his Spark so he could eventually use his Galvatron body to weaponize his Spark, & healing his Spark would drain the Knights Spark, & also Quintessa didn't control Megs he was still independent, & wanted to kill Quintessa & join Unicron, which would have happened in the next movie.

Theory: Megatron knew about Quintessa. So he scanned a jet and went to cybertron looking for her. And when he found her Quintessa gave him a new body along with the mark. And megatron knew he could not do anything without having his decepticons. So he asked Quintessa to bring back Barricade. Theory idea: how did Optimus not get a new voice while going to outer space but Starscream and Megatron did?

Quintessa slapped the right side of Meg's face after he got his knight form. But she also brainwashed him as i saw it in some scenes in TLK, Meg's eyes were pink-red, while Optimus' were purple.

What if Sentinel Prime survived when Optimus gave him mercy

In the Machnima series it is briefly mentioned, one of the decepticons I think it was dark Hot Rod talk about when Megatron was Galvatron. One thing you are forgetting is Galvatron was designed by Megatrons dead head. KSI could not make him look like prime because Megatron was still in control. He could have made a program where he could change back into his form with and upgrade.
