I had a 2014 MK7 Facelift Fiesta Style 1.25 as my first car, owned ot for 7 months and bored with the lack of modification options and I was dying for a project car. So I sold it and bought a 2008 MK6 Facelift Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 as it was an older car that I could modify and make my own and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is too noisey (thanks to my new back box) to be comfy on long journeys, there's a couple of little thing wrong with and it's less comfy however whenever I look at it and hear the noise ot makes it puts a huge smile on my face which is what being a car enthusiast is all about imo, so if having project cars that make no sense but are extremely fun is something anyone is interested in, I urge you to give it a go because the amount of satisfaction and fun you get is great.

Hello mate I remember talking to you at Goodwood if you try Brentacre insurance you can do any modification you wish as long as it doesn’t increase BHP significantly for no extra charge. When I was 19 I had a 240bhp civic type r with them and now at 21 a Polo GTI and it has cost less than £1000 each time so it’s definitely worth checking out

Have you looked into paintless dent removal, it will be a cheaper option than getting the wing painted.
