ive been watching stampy, even through his hiatus. as soon as he posted a new video for the first time in a long time, i started crying. i watch him all the time and he is truly one of my comfort streamers. we love you stampy :]

I do miss the days when Stampy was considered one of the most popular KZfaqr of the time. Time changes to fast, and so do we.

I want to give a little extra info on popularmmos, for those who didn't watch him or at least during the fall. Jen was so close to the channel, and their relationship showed in the videos. When they broke up, you could see the repercussions in the videos too. They seemed forced to do this, instead of happy to. They never did the natural jokes they used to either, as part of being forced. They lost many subscribers from this, not just because they broke up, but because their channel also broke up.

Honestly I appreciate Stampy so much for the farewell video with Lee, so many of his viewers, including myself, likely didn't even know what sexual assault was, and making a video addressing the topic in a serious manner would have probably had a negative impact on his fanbase of mostly minors 10-. I have so much admiration for him making it a peaceful and light-hearted farewell for his child audience, while still leaving the ability for his older viewers to do their own research on the situation if they felt the need, I've never seen things like this handled in such a way before or even since.

Stampy was pretty much my childhood and a few days ago I took a trip down memory lane and searched for stampy's channel and I cried at the intro because I was showing some kids what I grew up with, its amazing that he is still going

he wasnt mentioned in the video but im glad etho is still doing just as well as he always has. he was always one that kinda flew just under the radar probably due to his much more chill, mature and technical approach to minecraft, but he still trucks along with good views probably for that same reason. instead of viewers growing out of his content like with stampy or popularmmos which appealed a lot more to younger viewers, ethos videos of him tinkering with complex builds in survival really stay just as engaging even as an adult viewer. The maddest respect for the guy i could possibly give. made my childhood and yet never got old

There's a reason why KZfaqrs like pewds Mark and Jack have such dedicated fan bases because their content and humour gradually grew with their audience. Unlike channels like SSundee and other old Minecraft KZfaqrs. They all went down the path to make their content only appeal to children. Dan seems to be doing well too. He's now making a lot more reaction videos which I enjoy a couple of the time.

Tbh I'm just sad that Ssundee's channel rotted away into the soulless husk that it is now. His blood n bones series got me into modded mc and still holds up as one of my favorite playthroughs of all time.

I feel like a lot of the void left over by sethbling is kind of getting filled by phoenixsc

popularmmos is just straight up destroyed rn, its kinda sad to see him like that..

as a child at the time, Stampy is the youtuber who really allowed me to see the beauty in the simplest of things, not only in Minecraft but for some reason it extended to the real world. for me that what made his channel so special.

I love how lazarbeam brought back Minecraft and pewdiepie jumped on but everyone says pewdiepie brought it back

I think the reason why people stopped watching wasn't because they disliked a update, but rather they followed the mob who said "minecraft is for kids"

My childhood changed so much. I stopped watching PopularMMOs for two years(KZfaq unsubbed me and I forgot about the channel) get this video and see pat and jen then find out they split up (and that pat got a gold digger girlfriend afterwards) my childhood has been ruined. I thought Pat and Jen would stay together forever but all good things come to an end I guess. I'll never forget the memories I had from all of the OG minecraft KZfaqrs. Gone but not forgotten because Legends never Die.

I remember coming across Stampy and Popular’s channels and had fun watching them as a kid. Whether it’d be stampy in his usual minecraft world having fun or Popular doing lucky block challenges or mod reviews. It hurted to see what became of them.

It's sometimes nice but also sad to see what has happened to some of these minecraft youtubers, like stampy and popular they where my childhood and it saddens me to see these things happen, I hope they can keep producing videos.

i remember when i once danced to some of their intro songs each time i watched, i remember voting on who would win a challenge, i remember the buildings they would make, and the challenges they would do, and i remember always saying stuff like wow or cool when they made some big build. but now i barely remember these youtubers since i watched this videos/saw it on my reccomended, im really sad that i found out that these youtubers have gone down.

This video is so nostalgic you have mentioned most or all of the Minecraft KZfaqrs I have watched it the past.

PopularMMOS and Jen's mod showcase, lucky block mod, and crafting dead series are literally the definition of my childhood. Plus, Dantdm's survival series and mod showcases. Stampy, little kelly, sharky, Scuba steve, and Aphmaus' videos were the ones that I watched mostly when I was a kid. I became obsessed with minecraft and always wanted to do the things they do, but I ddin't really knew what mods are. And now that I've grown up, I haven't really watched their videos cuz tbh I've lost interest and changed, there's still this nostalgic feeling everytime I encounter their vids in my recommendations. I'm happy that they're still making content and enjoying making videos.

The thing is, I’ve never watched any of these people (I only joined the community at 2017 not counting my book-collecting), and yet I feel genuinely sad at the loss of these YTubers. It’s just sad knowing that some will never be seen again.

Holy shit. PopularMMOs was my childhood hero, but when I stopped watching him for a while, he’s in a fucked up place. This is what makes me not want to grow up. Dealing with the loss of my favorite things.

It makes me cry at the fact that all my favorite childhood KZfaqrs just stopped in their tracks and aren’t the same anymore. I wish I could just go back in time to enjoy those last few year that I thought I would never grow up but here we are now… 😢😕

I wish I could do more to help them but that's something we as a community have to do. I grew up on these guys. They were my childhood, without them I wouldn't be where I am now.

I feel like the major difference between the modern KZfaqrs and previous ones are the aspect of the game they are focusing on. Almost all KZfaqrs in the past gained popularity through the reviews of mods, maps, and role-plays. This was mainly because the game wasn't simply as developed. It was lacking in interesting features, causing almost all content to be made off modifications. But with modern KZfaqrs, after countless updates, their content focuses more on the game *itself.* There are so many new features and opportunities for new players to learn about the game through KZfaqrs. Most modern content focuses on pvp, game tactics and strategies, and building/Redstone.

When I was a kid I remember watching Dandtm Minecraft videos.

I grew up on Stampy videos. I remember going back and watching episodes 80 to 150, which is when I found him. I kept watching up until about episode 400. Eventually I grew out of it. I occasionally go back to stampy's videos just out of pure nostalgia. But I hope. Genuinely hope. That Stampy is still making content decades into the future. When I have kids, I want them to have the same nostalgic childhood I had watching Stampy. It's like memory lane recalling all the old videos...

"Sethbling" Now that is a name I haven't heard in a LONG time

It kills me, stampy was a big part of my childhood and to now go back and learn that Lee left to save stampy from being brought down with him hurts my heart. I remember watching that video and being completely oblivious to it, thinking Lee was just going to take a break or something, believing it was just a character and not a real person spacing himself from his friend. Then there’s pat and Jen. I remember watching them doing the lucky block videos back in the day but by that point I had grown up and started distancing myself from Minecraft as I’m sure many other kids did too thinking it’s a kids game (even though it’s not) but I finally stopped watching them and went completely oblivious to their break up.

I can't believe I had forgotten about SethBling, he really was one of the OGs. No filler and no shouting. Just a chill dude who would show you his latest wacky creation. And the Redstone Games belong in the Minecraft hall of fame!!

Stampy got me into minecraft, it kinda made me sad that his motivation has declined...

It was great with this youtubers and I still miss them...

I feel for Pat and Jen they he practically saw all of his viewers grow up this proves how it feels to get old to see things fall apart...such as content creators, show, movies, games, places....we gotta respect and be there for Pat and Jen no matter what

Its so weird seeing this. I was part of the CaptainSparklez crowd, but I never really interacted with MC KZfaqrs outside of him. So many people I've heard about, but never watched.

PopularMMOS used to be synonymous with Orespawn. And after the mob battles stopped I lost reason to keep watching. I still rewatch the challenge games sometimes though

I've got a list of a few : iBalisticSquid, Donut the Dog, Little Kelly, Little Carl, Little Leah and Little Donny. This lot and Stampy made my childhood

When I have kids, I'm gonna let them watch Stampy so he can be their childhood too.

I have to thank them all for inspiring me to start a yt of my own I may not be the best I may only be able to play PE but even the little guys like me have a fan base and it's one of the nicest feelings to get a comment that says your doing good keep going every now and then

I’m not going to lie, I cried. I miss the old Minecraft-KZfaqrs. But it is great that some of them are still going strong.

Been a while since I've seen one of these. The big three, trinity, four, five, gods. What they were called, they were a fun era of positivity to keep me and you going. I won't put favoritism but Dan, Stampy and Pat were my most watched for sure even tho it felt out of place for me. What matters is I can still put a smile on while watching.

About Sparklez , its his personality that got me stayed subscribed to him all the way from 2012 till now. Although i did not watch any of his vid throughout 2017 and 2018 but by the end of 2019 and 2020 his content actually gotten a lot better than it was back then. He is truely 1 of the few OG that is worth staying .

Pat just really needs a break. I've been watching Popularmmos since I was 11 so him and Jen are an amazing part of my childhood. Pat's been through so much this year, but it seems very likely that his channel will grow again soon and I'll stay loyal no matter what. ✨😄
