So many people just go through too much in life. Many black women go through so much from the time they’re little girls and once they start puberty (which usually happens early) they are rarely seen as a little girls anymore. Abusers come out of woodworks. First-hand experience. Happy Ms. Pat was able to overcome and love in spite of what happened to her.

@vinayaksivadas11813 жыл бұрын
@@richardwise7813 these kind of things usually happens in poor neighbourhoods, and statistically if you are black you are most likely to be from a poor neighbourhood, in her story, she got molested because she was poor. and she was raped by a black dude obviouly because she lived in a black neighbourhood. i feel like you were tryna make what you thought was a point but its just obvious shit. racism isnt always a white person doing something to a black person, the real world is more complicated that that. the poverty she faced because of which he had to go through that shit was the result of a long history of racism in america.

Ms Pat I went through some of the same thing, my life was very 50/50, you know it's going to happen but when and how bad this time, you know that 'loved ones' know but they don't protect you. How can a child defend themselves against an adult..I will never forgive my Mother and the others, I've missed funerals of the guilty and I'll miss hers too, she's still with him and sold me out for less than 30 pieces of silver. Ive heard people speak ill of children that dont have a relationship with their parents but would they feel the same. Very judgemental. You are a very brave philosophical lady. Best of luck😊

her words on overcoming the memories and trauma of a hard life is a lottttt like my grandmother's. she grew up in war torn greece..... her father was hung when she was 5 and her mom sent to a prison camp. her mom came back alcoholic and abusive. she dropped out of school in 6th grade to start working and went lots of time without eating. ms pat reminds me of her with the steel will and emotional strength to look back at total peace with their past. she says "you can be victimized but you decide if you stay a victim" at i feel ms pat shares a similar sentiment. shes an incredible woman to look up to

Mrs. Pat! Your story is helping many people who have experienced being abused. You remind people that there is such thing as coming out on top when others let you down. It is important we are reminded that we are survivors we are strong and we are not to carry around shame. An abuser wants victims down in themselves because it helps them continue destroying others. I love your message of thriving despite being through life experiences that most couldn’t handle. May we all remember that we do not ever have to repeat the situation we experienced. May we help each other and encourage us all to be better people. Do not allow our souls to be overtaken by the evils of others! We thrive💕

Ms Pat is one of my favorite!! She is the kind of person you want in your family or as a good friend, especially when you feel down. So glad she became such a strong and hilarious person thru her tragic journey. She is exceptional and beautiful!!!

Yeah that’s an iron soul right there. Really inspiring how strong this woman is, the ability to joke about things is truly special!
