I sometimes feel so tired that I can not get up out of the bed. I am on Ozempic 2mg for over 4 wks. I started injecting in my thigh and not the abdomen. I have started drinking some electrolytes but not much. I hope you feel better soon. I like watching your videos.

So sorry to hear your having such a bad time with your stomach shot this week. I've always done my injections in my stomach. Never had bad side effects other than constipation. I've always been able to reach my calories for the day, at least 1200. Everyone's body reacts differently. Hope you get feeling better soon.❤

Please check out Dr. Tyna Moore who is pro-low-dose glp-1 agonists. She is all about keeping muscle so that we don't become, as she calls it, 'skinny fat', in which people lose weight, but cause themselves more harm by not having enough muscle to keep their metabolic system healthy. It is not worth it just to be 'thin'.

I only inject in my abdomen, and I feel good. I do strength training 3x a week and walk the other days. But everyone is different. Maybe, you have a bug of some sort. I hope you feel better soon!

I felt that way back in December. I was on Wegovy 2.4 for 4 months and could no longer think straight or make decisions. I had so much appetite suppression that I couldn’t eat to meet my calories. That was no way to live and be healthy. I was injecting my thigh. I went back down to 1.7. And you are totally right about the calorie thing. If you don’t eat enough, you don’t lose.

I needed to hear this today I’ve done the same with my thigh injections at first it was so easy and I had good food suppression well my second week was just what you described but I couldn’t figure out what was happening I’m struggling to get calories in doing a lot of protein drinks too. The lack of energy is unreal I started wondering if I was coming down with Covid, nope. Hurting everywhere I can’t even go for a walk with my dog poor guy. Come Monday it’s in the stomach for me. Thanks for helping me and plenty others out. I love the 5 mg and the slow and steady I’m not in a race with anyone.

After talking to my daughter today I checked my food amounts and I was way under only eating 1k to 1200 calories so I will have better care of myself from here.now I will be 1500 to 1800.

I’m on the 15mg currently the highest dose available and I havnt injected anywhere else other than the abdomen so I guess I just gotten used to it mild side affects and I do get hungry but after 2 bites of anything I get so full like I ate an entire horse but my meals I eat are high protein and high calorie so if I do get full at least my calories for the day have been taken care of usually a lot of meat in my diet as well seems to help with upset stomach but I’ve lost over 80 pounds so woohoo

My shot day is Sunday and Wednesday both weeks I've barely been able to get in 800 calories. I make up for it on the other days and still get my protein in even with low calories. This past Sunday I did my arm. I will see how my appetite is tomorrow. Holy Guacomole...don't do your stomach next week! 🥑

I finally injected in my stomach and it was like I didn't even take a shot. No side effects but also no appetite suppression. It did bleed just a little and I was left with a large bruise. I avoided the stomach because I thought maybe scar tissue may prevent absorption and hearing similar stories to yours. All that anxiety for nothing, cause I didn't feel anything that whole week. That said, when I injected in my left arm it was terrible. I had no appetite, horrible nausea, and food aversion. When I couldn't bring myself to eat, it just made everything worse. I will never ever do that again. EVER! I'm glad you mentioned food aversion. I only had food aversion the first week, left arm, and the week I went up to 5 mg. When adapted, I have a substantially reduced appetite without food aversion, for me that would be my goal. I still have to fuel my body. If I did have it outside of titration or injection location all the time.... I would go down in dose. That would be miserable...

You sure you don't have Covid? I work at a long term care center and we are in outbreak. Those sound like some of the symptoms..

Thanks for getting the calorie goal message out there. When I started last July I thought I was doing something heroic if I hit only 1,000 calories. Like it was working and I was finally in control of food and the food noise. But in the meantime, I've lost a ton of hair and muscle even though I weight train 3 days a week and trampoline cardio 3 days a week. Take good care.

I know this feeling! For me it doesn't matter the location. It always starts with what I call the bowling ball sensation - one minute I'm fine then suddenly I feel like I have a bowling ball sitting in my stomach instead of just feeling full. This comes with suppression so strong i feel sick for days. But here's the pattern I noticed - was your shot the week prior slow to start or different in any way? For me, the week prior to having a "bowling ball" week like you describe, the shot was very subtle at first almost like it wasn't working. Then about a day or two later than normal i finally start to feel the shot kicking in (almost like it was delayed). That delayed shot ends up lasting all the way up the next shot day instead of easing off a few days prior. What I think happens is the new shot compounds on top of the delayed shot that's still kicking. That's when the bowling ball feeling hits, and for the next week it feels like I've taken a double shot. Its only happened to me two times on brand (zepbound) but it happens regularly on compound. Ive lost 14.5lbs on 2.5mg MJ, i still have 3 days left to officially be 1m in. My shot for 5mg is starting Tueaday wk5. A few days under a month and i feel kind of disappointed bc if i do IF for a month o lose 19lbs.

That is so weird...my dad always injects in different spots on his stomach and he has no appetite. He likes having no appetite. He hasn't complained about other side effects. He started on 7.5 mg and never has changed the dosage. He has lost over 60 pounds. I worry that he doesn't eat enough. I hope you feel better next week, Allie! I haven't given myself my shot in my stomach since I had my hysterectomy 4 weeks ago. I always rotate each week from arm, to stomach, to leg but last few weeks just arm and leg. I have not experienced sulfur burps yet, thank goodness. That sounds pretty miserable. I haven't noticed a difference in my appetite suppression in any of my locations. First video I’ve found of you.. I’ve been on 12.5 Mounjaro since Feb 29th… (a 4 week back order once in March) and always took in the stomach, always feel this way… get home at 6:30pm bed by 8:00pm! I’m almost 64 years old, I just want to sleep.. I work 10 hr days too..

I always inject my thighs.....never had a problem.

I have felt like that before when I was doing Keto and electrolytes got too low. I put a teeny bit of Himalayan salt and a shot glass with some warm water and it really helped pull me out of that or any reputable electrolytes could help I recognize it because of the brain fog you’re describing and the body weakness, that’s how I felt. The electrolytes were too low.

Sorry to hear you’re having these issues, especially with not getting enough calories to fuel your body; because I know how important it is to you, and you are 100% correct with thinking that way. Do you think there is a possibility something else is going on medically, or do you think it is all related to taking the shot in your stomach for a month? It sounds like you’re sure it’s the injection site though, which can be easily remedied. Sending healing thoughts your way pretty lady ❣️

I really do not have that issue when injecting in different location spots arms, thighs and stomach and I rotate. When I inject in my thighs I will get a small black and blue mark and prefer the back of arms or stomach. However, if I wait too long to eat I start getting headaches and I believe that is due to my diabetes and I would like to educate myself a bit more on intermittent fasting. Thanks for sharing its good to know as always we all appreciate you insightfulness and experiences.

First, I hope you feel better soon! The heavy limbs and brain fog are the worst! With the shortage, have you considered spacing your shots out to 10-14 days but using the same site for injections to get the maximum suppression in that first week? I am on 5mg every other week. I rotate my sites, but get such strong suppression in week 1 that I found I was able to go 13-14 days before food noise came back. My insurance won’t cover 2.5mg beyond the first month without a PA monthly… so I had no choice but to go to 5mg. Having been on 5mg for a few months now and spacing my dose to 2 weeks I am not as panicked about the shortage and still getting great results.

I am on 2.5 mounjaro 5th week stomach injection Same side effects last about a day ..able to fast for 16-18 hours I work out 2-3 times a week ..hydration and protein help me. I also use ginger supplements..papaya enzymes..electrolytes…apple cider vinegar chews and stop eating around 6pm to avoid heartburn

I eat under my calorie count every day except two in the last 6months..usually 225 to 400 per day. I’m trying to increase it but can’t seem to get there. I know it is hurting me..I haven’t had energy, gumption, or will to do a whole lot around the house. I change me sites, but still have….changed my dose to 10 Thea’s weeks ago. I’ve lost. Lot of my muscle mass in my under arms, and thighs. A 47 # weight loss is where I’m standing now, with about 20 to 27 lbs to go. My last numbers diabetically are good. I know there’s a will there’s a way because it appears Lilly is not going to come out with enough to go around. Good luck…feel better!

I noticed as well back of arms. Nausea and headaches. I've been changing every week different injection sites. I'm just getting ready to start my 2nd box. Question for ya. Where do you go with your used pens?

I'm a diabetic. I had to go back on insulin because I can't physically tolerate the other diabetes drugs. I tried Metformin, Time Released Metformin, Trulicity, Rybelsus, and Jardiance (which put me in the ICU for four days with diabetic ketoacidosis). What keeps the food obsession at bay for me is eating a super low carb high protein way. I eat eggs, beef, chicken with the skin on, pork, any other meat. Fortunately I live alone so I just don't buy anything I should not eat. I also take a multivitamin every day.

I've been like this for 7th months now off and on. I'll have a few weeks or a month and be fine but all of a sudden out of nowhere, I have weeks where I am sick as a dog. It's the worst feeling ever. I'm a mom and I have to do all the grocery shopping and cooking during the week--my husband handles dinner on the weekends--an it is so hard to look at food. I've started bringing my daughter with me to just get whatever they all want to eat for dinner so I can just cook it and not think about it. It's awful. I do mine in my arms. I switched to my thighs and that makes me sick, too. I just hope that this few weeks of being sick will pass and I'll get back to the way I was last month.

Been on Mounjaro for over a year. I have times I don't feel my best. I just remember when blood sugar spikes (when eating only protein) made me unable to function. That's why this medicine is not for the faint of heart!

I'm on 12.5 units which is 2.5mg, I take my 4th injection on this Thursday, I only been doing stomach injections Praise God no side effects. I'm grateful that I have been able to eat 1,200 calories a day but I may try only eating 1,000. I don't know if I will move up to 5mg for my 5th injection I may stay on the 12.5 units for another 4 weeks, because so far I've loss 3.9 lbs, not sure if that's good or not after 3 injections 🤔, I will weigh on Thursday to see where I'm at. I feels ya, Allie. Fairly similar experience here (though somewhat less bad) when I started doing arm-injects for the first time recently. Felt like an unintentional ‘free’ titration up from 10 to the 12.5mg. At the very least. 😯 As you say, does seem to be different for everyone. Stomach is strongest for you, arm’s strongest for me, no doubt thigh is strongest for still others. There is no one ‘magic’ injection site. ✨ The one cool thing I can report is that you do seem to get mostly used to the increased strength/effects fairly soon, if you stick w/it. Still though… is it worth it? Had a fairly bad nausea attack earlier this week, and even ten minutes of that is too much. Especially when I’m so unused to them. 🤢

I would prefer to not eat…easy but,,, I make myself eat mostly protein and I have been enjoying my turkey chili with beans. But I’m working too hard at the gym to lose my 14:53 muscle. I will say I get light headed, tired and out of steam if I need to nourish my body. You HAVE to eat! Pre-make meals for the week. So much easier to grab healthy food. I inject in my stomach always have. Losing only 17 pounds in 3 months. I only had 30 to lose but it’s coming off slow and steady. Keep (healthy) protein bars with you always. Eat fruit!!

This is my second month on mounjaro 5 ml shot number 3 , and i only take it on my abdomen, i was supposed to take it two days ago and i don’t feel like taking it, the reason of not taking it is i feel that my appetite suppression is the same as the second or third day of taking the shot (this is day number 9 of taking my last shot) , Is that normal? Is that ok not taking my shot on time ? Based on the instructions they tell us we can take our missed shot within the 5 days after missing it , i am having this idea of not taking my shot until i start feeling hungry again taking into consideration the 5 days range (i will not exceed 5 days without taking it) but m not sure of the consequences 😅 btw i have PCOS and insulin resistance,,, maybe this way i will train my body on not fully depending on this medicine ! And the 4 shots box will last for more than 28 days

I am shocked that your having such different side effects, for just injecting in the stomach, I felt like I had less strength when I did my shot in the stomach, I rotate the shots on every injection from Left arm, to right arm to the stomach, I dont like my legs at all. I was only on 5mg for 4 weeks and moved up to 7.5mg and didnt feel that Zepbound was working for me that much until I went up to 7.5mg, I also felt like the thigh was the least effective. I have watched others videos on these meds and they say they have more strength on the arms, and I just think we are all different. I have literally had no nausea ever, since I have been on Zepbound. Constipation has been the worst side effect and thats it

I have used my stomach site since I started 5 weeks ago. I sometimes meet my calorie goal but sometimes I don't. I have never felt anything like that. I don't do it on purpose i eat until i get full. It sucks that it's making you feel that way. I have lost 15 lbs in a month. Not sure if that is too much too fast. I think it's okay.

My weight loss stops if i eat too little. My body thinks it is starving and holds onto everything! I have a problem eating a lot of protein but really trying to eat more. When I increase my calories I find I can break a stall.. I hope you feel better soon!

I don’t take this for weight loss. But I got a question. I have never heard about meeting a calorie goal. I’ve only been told to eat my protein. I’ve never been a big eater and don’t have a lot of weight I can lose. So I need to meet calorie goals? I feel ok but can get real tired. Can someone explain calorie goals? If it matters I’ve always used my thigh for the shots. I take metformin for about 10 years. Metformon caused a lot of these problems for me. Anybody been on both? They want me on both.
