Lonzo career is sad cause he really did become a winning playing. The Bulls are a completely different team without him. He’s just such an intriguing player cause he will never be THE star but he’s the perfect player to have next to stars. High basketball IQ. High playmaking ability with low usage % for a point guard meaning he doesn’t dribble the air out the ball. Great sniper from 3 to crest spacing and top tier perimeter defense? He’s literally everything you want next to star players

For some reason I always think that the guys that jam at Summer League end up being pretty crappy NBA prospects in the end but after watching this video I'm starting to remember that a lot of the guys that did really well became really solid if not really good NBA players. I'm happy for Dallas that they got Seth Curry back because they need to do what they can do to get that outside shot working. I still don't think they're going to be able to do much with Kyrie paired with Luka. It's just not the right team up.😊 Good video.🎉

As a Nets fan, Cam Thomas absolutely has All-Star potential. However, the reason he's playing has nothing to do with his passing or defense, it's just that he's hated by the Nets organization. They were playing Seth Curry, Joe Harris, & Patty Mills over Cam Thomas, guys who are worse at passing and defending than he is.
@Mac-sd3pb10 ай бұрын
No he’s a ball hog who plays 5v1 basketball and hes not a great passer or defender. And saying seth and patty mills are worse at defense and passing is funny.

@@jojoprocess2820 First of all, Cam Thomas doesn't have a bad attitude. Being a stoic doesn't mean he has a bad attitude, Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan got the exact same criticism. And if Cam Thomas is a ball hog, so is Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and everyone who specializes in scoring. No one cares about being a ball hog if you can hit those shots. @elitetv173510 ай бұрын
I mean if you stop looking at his average and go into his game log and sort by minutes and just look at the games he was able to play over 15+ minutes. (He only play 12 games where he play 15+ minutes) His stats at averages with that criteria is ~21.75 mpg, 10.4 ppg, 2apg and 0.8spg on 40% and 35% His per 36 with that criteria is 17.2 ppg, 3 apg, 1.3 spg.. Given those number and given actual minutes to get in a rhythm, I think he could of been a good 6 man or spark plug off the bench. the Lou will type. (Yes I did all those numbers myself, the per 36 stats and mpg is slightly off because I used whole numbers, yes i know I’m crazy for doing all this math for a KZfaq comment)

Okay okay this is my last comment. I think Johnny Davis maybe the biggest draft busts in The last few years. I saw him play in the summer league on TV and watch some of his g league play and oh my goodness. It's hard to see what got him drafted that high because he looks lost and I'm guessing there is no real NBA future for him though he'll get a chance because of his high draft spot but I don't think he'll be able to do much with those chances. That's a team that really couldn't afford a miss with that selection.
@KingofAwesome0910 ай бұрын
To be fair, I think Washington was strictly preparing for a possible Bradley Beal departure, and Davis, at least in college, looked like the correct fit. Imo I thought Moses Moody was a better, and still is a better fit for Washington than even Jordan Poole.
@bookaufman964310 ай бұрын
@@KingofAwesome09sorry this is a long response . I'm a Warriors fan and I'm not sure about Moody. It's kind of strange that the Warriors looked like they had done everything right with Jordan Poole becoming a borderline All-Star and Kuminga and Moody both getting a decent amount of playing time all the way through to the playoffs and still a bit even in the playoffs. They also had a very coordinated and talented big man in James Wiseman and it looked like they had their next team getting ready to be on the floor in a couple years. Roll that tape a year later and their moves do not look so good. They basically ditch Wiseman to get Gary Payton 2 back and there's not much advance from Moody or Kuminga. After that they realize that Poole is not the guy they thought he was and send him away to be able to pay for Draymond Green's new contract. They still have a good shot at being a very good team this year especially if Andrew Wiggins is able to play the whole season which was something missing from a lot of last year. That starting 5 is still as good as anybody's starting 5. I guess Chris Paul is there to help with the scoring when Steph is on the bench. That's going to be crucial this year because if that actually works and they don't have teams catching up to them while Curry is resting then they're going to be a tough team to beat. I just don't know how good they're going to be. They could be really good or they might be taking a step back??
@KingofAwesome0910 ай бұрын
@@bookaufman9643 love this take. The problem I believe is when they won two years ago….it gave the belief that they still needed to “win now” or that they could still win now, hampering the young guys growth. There’s other small moves that impacted their season but I believe they’ll be fine moving forward. Continue building in the draft until the trio is no more.
@bookaufman964310 ай бұрын
@@KingofAwesome09 it's tough for young players to lose their playing time because the team is shortening the bench because of a playoff run. Both guys played a lot during the season though and they both had a small role in the postseason but Kuminga and Moody are both kind of maddeningly inconsistent. I still don't know if they're any good to this day and that's a little off-putting when they hold such a big role in the future of the Warriors. Time will tell.
@KingofAwesome0910 ай бұрын
@@bookaufman9643 I think they’ll be fine as long as they’re coschable. Kuminga seems to have a problem with his role more so than Moody, and that says a lot. I just hope that they both get a fair shot at some point

That Duke team is Zion and RJ Barrett is one of the best college basketball teams to not win the championship. Could kind of say the same thing about Duke's team last year which was just packed with studs but couldn't get that final for victory against UNC. My biggest problem with today's NBA can be seen at 13:09 during this video. Watch Cade Cunningham do one of the most obvious and outrageous travels ever and there is no call. He basically picks up the ball stops his dribble and then restarts.. not even a simple tarry but a complete and total travel call. Yad of course there was no call. Carrying the ball or taking an obvious three steps doesn't matter at all and today's NBA. They were supposed to be calling it more this year and I guess they did but it was still pretty ridiculous to an old head NBA fan.😊

In 1990 all the way through 2005 or 2008 that would have 100% been called a travel 100% of the time. Just cuz they're not calling that kind of stuff anymore doesn't mean it's not a travel. They rarely ever think about blowing the whistle for travel but I think they should sometimes because some of this is just obvious and ridiculous.
