Plus my setup for free roaming and the first proper floor time session with the new guinea pigs, Phoebe and Roxy! Willow and Lyra show the young ones how to explore... Phoebe gets up to her typical misadventures, escaping under the furniture and only coming out for pea flakes! And Willow waits patiently at the kitchen door for vegetables, whilst Lyra hangs around suspiciously sniffing the door 😂

Did you style or bathe them before the shoot? They all looked so luscious and beautiful today! Lyra looked like she had been to the hair salon and stylist for sure. hehe I love how Willow is confident enough to eat her food in the open, while the others cut and run with their treasure! The shot of them all snoozing in the box with their hay was too precious. Love their floor time!

Go babies! They've gotten so brave, and it's really cute to see them follow Lyra and Willow around. Willow and Lyra are really cute too, especially when they're hovering around the door like 'dinnertime! Hurry up please!'

They get braver every day! And yes! But they will never come into the kitchen, I think the floor must be lava 😅

@@SqueakDreams There's some surfaces that guinea pigs just don't like. Maybe it's difficult to run on tile or linoleum. It's probably for the best though- who wants anything or anyone under foot when you've got a hot plate in your hands!

the videogame term of FREE ROAM was PERFECT for me. I just adopted a guinea pig and since i know little about them, but lots about vid games from laying and vlogging, perfect attention grabber and helpful to see behaviors like this beforehand! Thank You and great work!

Not from the US I'm afraid, maybe try search to find lists of recommended rescues - I think there's one on the Guinea Lynx website 😊

If I let one of my three guinea pig roam he would go under the tv stand and there is cores there and he could get hurt:(

Ok, quick question - How do you catch piggies to put them back in their cage? We just adopted 2 male piggies… they are 2 yo and a bit skittish..they cam3 from a home where a woman was overwhelmed and wanted them to have more attention.. The confident on3 Tucker loves floor time… but refuses to go back in his cage.. he’s fast and loves to go under the bed or sofa…. The more skittish (less held in their old home) one , Chewy, doesn5 want out of the cage But will follow Tucker around… he’s really hard to catch… do you have any tips? Thanks…. We are working on taming and trust.. bu5 need to let them out so they can get exercise… we also have a pop up playpen, which they really like… and I can usually get them to go into their soft house and then transfer them and the hous3 to the play pen…. They make such a mess in the pen…lol.. they poop all over it.. and then walk in it…lol.. then they have to get their feet washed off… Tucker loves water and wants to jump in the sink.. and he will run under the water stream from the faucet if I turn it on…lol.. he makes a huge mess with the water bottle in the cage too..

Don't forget It's Pigs! I group my viewings together so I don't miss out on my guinea pig "family" videos with Squeak Dreams, It's Pigs (every day!), Scotty's Animals (gotta have my Pipsqueak fix all the time!), and of course Little Adventures (though I miss Sylvester so much). I do love Guinea Dad too. But Squeak Dreams is the best UK viewing there is! hehehe

There's occasional accidents but they go back to the litter tray to pee and poop :)

We have the odd mishaps which is easily cleared up :) they will go in the litter tray 99% of the time though!

Haha - nope (well there's been a few accidents before but usually not!). The box, the liner and the waterproof pads under the other hideys keep the carpet clean 😄
