We never know what will happen to us, so I tell the people and creatures I love that I love them each time we talk, so one of their last memories of me will be that know they were loved. I think it’s very important. I was in a bad accident where a bus T-boned my car 12 years ago. Despite all the injuries, I’m very lucky to be here. And that’s when I decided to say what I feel each time, because who knows what tomorrow will bring?

He was a great companion but very aggressive toward other dogs. Because he was bred to chase foxes, it was genetic. I could never let him off the lead, but we managed. His name was Slim Bob🐕. I told our cat I loved him every every day and many times throughout. I think of him sitting on the windowsill while he did his job, intently watching as only cats do, with a patience unmatched by any human. I would often slip in silently to join him in his reverie and duty and watch along with him. Many many times I’d whisper “I love you” and just as many times I’d sense a subtle shift in his demeanor, momentary and meaningful to me - as though he was intuiting the same back to me. It was this cat, this beautiful being that taught me how to communicate by using intuition and vision. In return he responded to words we used to indicate specific behaviors. Whatever we had I know that what it was was something so beautiful that when it was gone a part of me went missing. To love and be loved by an animal is the best blessing a human could have. ❤
