As promised, here is my sketch book from my Creative crafts level 1 course. I said I would share with you everything the course included, and what was expected of me.
I really enjoyed the course, well most of it anyway. Their were a lot more theory work involved than I expected, and I wasn't alone. The course started with around 8-10 students, but over time that drastically dropped to only 4! I had conversations with some that left, and they said the level of theory was much, and much higher than expected, they thought the course would be fun, and easy going. They soon realised we had a lot of work to do in the 10 weeks of the course. We not only had 3 weeks removed, but 2 hours a week taken from us, but we were still expected to deliver the same amount of work. this meant we had to do a lot more of the work at home.

lino printing
Copper sulphate acting
Embrodiary
Gestural drawing
Collage
Art using journeys
I really enjoyed doing unit 3 on this course as we got to choose what project we wanted to do.We could do a painting, drawing, sewing, anything really, as long as it could relate the the theme journey.
Surprise surprise, I chose to do an Alice in Wonderland theme, using a hat my daughter had picked up on an evening out. I decided to use this as my rabbit hole, and displays Alices journey in Wonderland. I hope you like my project, as much as I enjoyed making it.
Sadly the level 2 was cancelled due to not many applying for it, but hopefully it will be up and running next year.
