Slowly, slowly thanks to your videos I've understood what I had been doing wrong and what LISTEN TO YOUR BODY truly means. I've created my typical meals and my fitness routine based on what I really enjoy(actually various types of yoga every single day+ taking long, nice walks from time to time) and being healthy has never been easier! Thank u so much, I've started to feel more vibrant, more energized and finally I can focus on living my best life rather than starving and binging while being on 1200 kcal diet.

Hi Maddie! Contgrats on almost hitting 1’000.000 subscribers! I’ve been following you for a year now and I love your channel so much, I recommend it to everyone I know that wants to get into fitness lol I’ve been recently binge watching your videos and it called my attention when you mentioned that you’re not taking your Vit B12 very regularly (I don’t know if that’s the case now of course. I’m a doctor 😊) So I just wanted to stress out the importance of it: it’s a vitamin that’s important for DNA synthesis and for the maintenance of our nervous system. Animals get it from soil (they don’t produce it) and they’re the main source from which we can obtain it (plants are not the most reliable sources in this particular case and that’s why vegans need to take it as an obligate supplement). It is stored in the liver for many years but needs to be taken daily, because deficiency can lead to really serious anemia with neurological problems. I love watching your journey, and it seems like you’re on the right track but after what happened to Rawvana I feel like sharing some of the knowledge that I have so that people inspired to start on veganism check with their doctors to get best guidance possible in this journey.

Seeing videos like this really reinforces my choices. I eat as my body tells me, and my body is naturally very lean which I don’t (currently) like the shape of. Milk: A whitish fluid produced by the mammary glands of all mature female mammals as a source of food for their young. Real milk comes from a breast or an udder. Putting oats and water into a blender, then straining it is someone trying to recreate the real thing, because they want the real thing, duh. Milk has cholesterol and saturated animal fat by definition, otherwise it's not milk. That recipe is diluted oat water lol nothing to do with milk. Stop convincing urself that crap is milk. It's impossible not to understand this, unless you're in denial.

Same thing with meat, making "meat" out of vegan ingredients isn't meat. Making "milk" out of vegan ingredients isn't milk. Vegans will call it "milk" because they crave real milk lol.

Hi, Maddie! Great video, as always. I looked on Cronometer to see in which days I had a full bar for Vitamin E and one day I ate 35 g of almonds (60%), 400 g of broccoli (30%) and one avocado (17%) and my Vitamin E is at 107%. Avocados and almonds contain more fats, that's maybe the downside. I would love to see a video on making different types of vegan milk.

vit e deficiency is pretty rare as it is fat soluble (stores in your body fat) and usually because of poor fat digestion rather than diet low in vit e (kinda like vitamin D). Leafy greens are the best sources, especially mustard greens and swiss chard, however almonds tropical fruit and wheat germ also contain it.

Anne Groeliker no you don’t. I think you just want to argue. Why don’t you watch the video? She shows you how she gets all her nutrients including calcium. You can eat several cups of Bok Choy and collards 1 tablespoon of black molasses a serving of tofu and a can of white beans that will give you almost recommended dose of calcium. This is not a lot of food. It’s about 600 calories - a fraction of what someone active on a plant food diet eats. Maybe you under-eat.

oh yes please! I'd love to see the homemade milks, I am going to make oat milk today. I have to see if you've done the milk one I am binge watching your videos because I haven't had the internet for a while. I take B12 I learnt from my mother (a nurse) and then told by my naturopath that spraying it under the tongue helps with better absorption into the blood stream therefore you're getting the most out of it you can and you don't taste it as much haha because they don't taste GREAT! Love your videos!
