Finally a fitness guy that eats normal food. It’s so refreshing after so many You Tubers are NO CARBS, NO FAT. You can do that restricted type of eating short term but it doesn’t work long term. You will be starving and thinking about food 100% of your day. Been there,, done that. Thanks for giving a different perspective on eating, and your workout videos are awesome. Portugal looks amazing.

You could 'hide' chicken livers in your Bolognaise, it is a traditional ingredient in Ragu. I also read recently of the idea of slicing liver thinly into small pieces and freezing it in individual pieces on a tray. When frozen put altogether in a pot... keep in the freezer and swallow a couple daily as if they were a supplement.
@BodyweightWarrior5 ай бұрын
yes, I sometimes do this if I have lamb or ox liver which is stronger in flavour. I actually don't mind chicken liver

I'm also eating a healthy bigger breakfast again and it's just better for training and wellness and facilitates a good circadian rhythm, you can spend more time in the sun after eating and not worry about getting tired or needing much food when out and about. And you can always delay breakfast and enjoy fasting occasionally when it feels right and easy. Vitality maxx

Great video, lots of sensible advice. Do you have any recommendations for how to replace the meat for someone following a vegetarian diet? I do eat eggs and cheese, but I see for your lunch meal that's more of a side than the main part of the meal.
@BodyweightWarrior5 ай бұрын
Eggs can go a long way. If you’re ok with dairy, whey protein is good. Alternatively brown rice and pea are a good quality combo. Just note that you will need more protein in relation to bodyweight to make up for poorer absorption

@@BodyweightWarriorUseful info, thanks Tom! I do drink protein shakes after a workout, but maybe something to consider on non-workout days too? Also, I would be interested in a deeper dive into your current nutrition/supplements you mentioned in this video.

what does the red light do? also, cute that you're in portugal :D (thats where i also live)
@bratatouille4 ай бұрын
The red light in itself doesn't really do anything, it's more the lack of blue light, which is present in regular white LED bulbs. Blocking blue light in the evening is supposed to regulate your circadian rhythm and promote better sleep.

Have you ever read something about protein combining? Some suggest that keeping one main source of protein is better for the following processes in the body. So combination of eggs, cheese and liver for example, wouldn't be so good. Ayurvedic teachings tend to teach something similar too. Not for everyone. Worth looking into.
