I travel a couple times a month for my corporate job. Often times meal times and locations are out of my control so I tend to be overly prepared and bring lots of my own food with me. This trip was an 8 day trip in Madrid so I packed more than normal. This video shows examples of food I bring with me on my trips to make it easier to maintain a carnivore diet.
I also included how I make dehydrated ribeye's. You could follow this same process with any cut of meat to make your own meat chips and/or jerky.

In Indiana & also in Alaska (Oct/Nov 2022), I had my frozen ice packs confiscated with the option of going out of security & adding the ice packs to a checked bag. Not all TSA staff at all airports are so accommodating. I’ve lost a few of these over the years because it’s hit or miss on this rule.

Ive noticed over the past ''just about'' two years now being fully carnivore. I can deviate a little bit here and there with no issues. Like I can have heavy whipping cream with gums in it and the gums don't bother me if its just like once a month and not a large serving. I can have stevia, I can have 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder with no negative effects. Besides any anti nutrients that's just naturally in cocoa. I eat literally just beef, pork, salt, water, eggs, butter every day. Once every three months I like to have a small amount ''usually one serving size'' of something off diet. But within guidelines I made myself. Like no seed oils, no veg/fruit or grain. So really I'm just adding some heavy whipping cream, stevia or maybe some almond flour. That's as far as I deviate. So far once every other month or every three months seems okay.

Great video, as always! I have lived in France for 8 years and I travel quite a bit in Europe. I do not know where you are going, but you will find AMAZING cheese in the supermarkets, and wherever you are -- if you have time-- try to find the local outdoor market. Farmers and butchers come with cheeses, butters, and fabulous salamis. Lots of fresh meat, too, but I do not know if you will be cooking. Enjoy your trip.

Great info Laura, I find for the fatter cuts of meat like bacon, and ribeye that cooking in the oven at 190-200 degrees produces a better product, better than the lower temp of a dehydrator.

i checked out those paleo valley sticks. They are made with celery juice and or powder and thus are cured with nitrites in addition to whatever fermentation process they go through. I only really worry about nitrites with cured products that re cooked , like bacon or hot dogs, because studies have shown that high heat is required for nitrosamine formation, which is the carcinogenic compound that occurs in these cured meats (whether cured with sodium nitrite or celery juice). If you can find cured products that have ascorbic acid blended into them studies have found that this antioxidant hinders the formation of nitrosamines when cooked.

Its my understanding that you can't take meat or dairy into the EU from a non EU country? I'm planning a trip to London, non EU I know however same regulations, and I am only taking what I can eat before arrival. Are you hip to loopholes I've missed? lol If so please share😊 Also, does your butter and chicken salad have to go in your liquids bag for tsa? Thank you for so many travel tips! You can take meat and dairy to the EU as long as it's for personal consumption and not for sale. The chicken salad is NOT a liquid but butter IS...so you can only have 3oz of butter. My jerky and Carnivore Snax are fine to take.

Great tips!! I didn’t know we’re allowed to bring unlimited ice on the plane, and the ice pack bags are a great idea since they collapse down small when empty. And reusable. 😎 Speaking of which, would you please consider getting some Stasher reusable zip bags so you can reduce the single-use plastic? There’s so much packaging already from the Element packets, cheese sticks, and jerky vacuum bags … adding like 15 ziplocs makes this kind of packing unsustainable for the planet. Thanks for sharing your great experience and information with us, and for taking our suggestions to heart. 🌏💚

I am going to swallow my pride. 😢 I'm *very* sick, almost bedridden, have severe health challenges. Autoimmune issues, etc. I did keto, with no exercise, in 2015 and lost 60 lbs. After illness, doctor's insisting I add back carbs, plus my carb/sugar addiction, I've gained back much of it, and I'm sicker than ever. So. Sick. I'm on a small fixed disability income, so I can't spend much money on food - rent, electricity, simple prepaid phone (my life-line) is priority -- then food. I'm seeing so much conflicting information nowadays that I'm sort of frozen, overwhelmed, don't know what to do. 😢 When I did keto before I only counted 20 net carbs per day, no grains, no starches, no sugar, just meat and veggies, and lost 60 pounds in 5 1/2 months, easily. I felt so good. I still had weight to lose though. Question: Can I eat only hamburger as my beef? Along with canned tuna, sardines, eggs, and I really need at least at first this time some plain, unsweetened greek yogurt sweetened with stevia; and some cheese and eggs chaffles, coffee with 1 tbs HWC. I know I'll probably have to cut dairy eventually per everyone else saying they had to. Anyway, would I be wasting my time trying to do the above? Might it work for me? IF I can't handle it and need a couple of veggies like I did last time, I'd add broccoli, french cut green beans, and cauliflower. I'm 63 and too young to be bedridden. 😢 I'm not even doing this for my appearance now -- I'm doing it to be able to walk and be able to leave my house again. It's not even the most I've weighed now, it's the muscle disease and severe weakness and pain.
