Coming out to my mom was so scary, being that she’s very religious. To anyone who’s still closeted, I encourage you to voice who you are. A weight will be lifted off, and you can live authentically as yourself. If your family loves you, they will come around and accept you. ❤

That is awesome to hear. i'm really glad I stumbled upon the podcast, I recently came to Jesus in the past year and also in a 4 year long loving relationship with my girlfriend so finding you both at this time has been very helpful and comforting. The story of Jesus just doesnt make sense to me. Lets be mindful of preaching. May you find your own words and your own love from your heart. I respect your Journey. Lets all respect one anothers beliefs and opinions and do no harm. I am sure you mean well. as do I.

@@user-lq4sw1cx5z it’s not a “story”; Jesus’ crucifixion is an actual historical event. Also, just because it doesn’t make sense to YOU doesn’t mean it’s not the truth. The Bible says that the heart is desperately wicked, so it’s unadvisable to trust and follow your heart.

@@user-lq4sw1cx5z look around. There’s so much wickedness in the world today and it’s only getting worse. This is the result of the wickedness in ppl’s heart. There’s so much greed, arrogance, selfish ambition, pride, treachery, resentment etc. going around and that’s why we need Jesus.

Romans 1:26-27 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
