As a technical worker for RIO Iron Ore it always very interesting how other ppl views this company. Nice analysis format, be very interesting how my company shares pan out in the years to come. Right now it's perform quite well since I join the company.

Ive just bought last week, in at 53. They are expanding copper production significantly, have a strong iron ore operation and are also the wests largest producer of aluminium which is always in demand. Its a very well run business and whilst the dividend fluctuates it is always considerable. A solid investment for the next decade for dividend investors

I started a small position in RIO because of the expansion into the copper mines. That, and the excellent dividend.

Honestly I'm the most excited about Rio Tinto's involvement with Graphene Manufacturing Group, to develop the graphene-aluminum battery. It's an amazing battery that doesn't use lithium, nickel, cobalt, or any expensive metals. The hopes are that the batteries can scale by 2025 or so. Exciting things are coming!

Rio Tinto is a mining company which is a cyclical industry so be sure that the reasearch you do is thorough

I'm commenting before watching the whole video because I've owned Rio Tinto for some time, and I know what I paid and what the price is now, so I'm very excited/worried to see your valuation. Ok, finished the video. No real surprises. In my unqualified opinion I think that a decent amount of the future turbulence is priced in. Commodity prices have been softening for some time, and RIO's share price has reduced accordingly. I am prevented from buying more by a very suspicious wife, and by having all our capital sunk into other things.

insiders bought $100,000? that's not a large enough purchase to warrant a check of the old box my bald friend.

I bought some RIO last week. It's a great company down ~30% from the highs. What tipped me to into buying way their Nuton process for copper ore. I'm seeing it being rolled-out in many places.

I owned Rio for many years, I love it. I would appreciate if you would do a video about IIPR or MPW.

In my opinion RIO and VALE are definitely worth a (small) position. One thing I like about RIO: it is a very old company in a very old business 🙂

isn't 75% of their profits from iron ore? If you believe a recession is on the horizon it's the wrong time to buy.
