I wish more Haitian people were focused on the collective. We should all help to bring our country up instead of looking out for our own self interest. As a child of Haitian immigrants I want to contribute to the good of the country. I pray your good deeds will spread.

My sentiment as well. I have 3 different business plans concerning waste management, infrastructure and housing development that will create jobs for people, yet I don't have the funds it's bitter sweet. I hope we can learn same as Singapore to build up our beautiful country. Ayibobo. Stay blessed.

We must be spiritual twins. I basically have the same feelings towards Haiti. Two things really strike me because I always thought the same. I feel connected to the people: M renmen monte kamyonèt poum tande zen ak diskisyon. epi lèm te piti m te konn vwayaje nan bus Kap potoprens Epi m gen menm feeling nan tou pou timoun lekòl yo....Se bèl bagay. Anpil moun but konprann nou. But a lot of us do. Keep up the great work. Kontinye tease mwen toujou. You never know.....😂😂😂😂😂

Hi rutty. You look great! Thanks for letting us in your journey. If you don't mind me asking where in Au Cap are you? Is it expensive to find a house to rent? Thanks in advance for your response.
@ruttyb
@ruttyb 7 ай бұрын
The very few “modern” homes you find here are really expensive. There was a house we toured for over $2000 per month & it wasn’t really that modern compared to what you find in Port-au-Prince. But overall you’ll find more basic homes here that aren’t too expensive (like $5000 per year and even less). It’s really hard to find something decent though.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MOVE TO HAITI
@ruttyb
@ruttyb 4 ай бұрын
Visit Haiti as much as possible before moving. Pick the right area for you. The worst thing to do is to move without really knowing what you’re getting into. Haiti isn’t the easiest place to move to. I get a lot of messages from people interested in moving but haven’t been here since they were a kid. In my opinion, that is a big mistake!
