Gels are still way better for your nails. Acrylics are so bad if you get them all the time but occasionally is ok.

Hey!! So I’m a Canadian student and have literally been watching ur videos all throughout quarantine cuz I’m starting at the university of Leeds in September. I’ve learned so much from u and just wanted to give u a shoutout for being so awesome and helpful:) I’m actually in Leeds now and it’s so crazy different than back home (and quite lonely cuz I don’t know anyone haha) but it’s so cool that I actually know the places you’re going to now lol

I went to uni in Leeds too and am loving reminiscing watching your vlogs! if you are waiting to stick with gels I highly recommend mint nails near trinity/the station- they don't use the electric files to remove the gel and honestly helped my nails grow so healthy and long- also the girls in there are lovely!

I’m completely the same about acrylics! I’m from Leeds and go to New York Nails & Beauty in city centre on Vicar Lane. They do gel extensions! So you get the protectiveness of gels but with the length of acrylics 😊

Gel nails are soaked off, don’t go to a salon that uses an electric file thats when they get damaged. I recommend NAILISTA in Leeds 🥰

defo recommend checking out blue rinse in leeds if you like cow, they have 4 floors of vintage clothes and a kilo sale very often!! x

Sorry to hear you had a bad yoga class. I have been doing yoga for 2 years now and I enjoy it so much. I think it’s definitely down to the vibe of the studio and the teacher. My teacher is very down to earth but not in an ‘extra’ yogi way if that makes sense. In general, one of the main reasons people give up after the first class is because of the vibe. I hope you find somewhere else that suits you. Namaste 🙏

Check out Burley Park station - literally takes 2 mins to get into Leeds. Much quicker than walking through uni when you’re in a rush 😂

Have you ever tried Yoga with Adriene? Really great channel, completely free and lets you do yoga pretty much anywhere you want. Maybe a good substitute for the classes if you’re not enjoying them 🙂 🧘‍♀️

I'm applying to uni for 2021, it would be great to know some of the pros and cons of Uni of Leeds in your opinion. I've looked online and Leeds looks great but would be great to get a student's honest opinion! Xx
