Hello!! With travel kasi hindi quantifiable / monetary yung ROI for me eh - more of in the form of “memory dividends” siya. I get to enjoy ROI whenever I feel happy, excited, and inspired by my travel experiences. Usually I allow myself to travel out of the country up to 2x a year. May general guidelines lang ako sa budget and expenses eg. 1) good balance between hotel price and rating, 2) allowance for each category like food and shopping kasi dito usually napapa over budget; 3) total cost of travel should not be significant relative to my total savings; 4) walang uutangin para makapagtravel (tho i use ccs to pay for almost all travel-related expenses, i always make sure na covered na sya ng travel fund ko before making any booking). I view personal travel as something like donating - walang monetary return, but it makes me feel good. Anyway, we work to live and enjoy life ❤️

As for the ranking sa wishlist system ko, madalas priority ko travel over material things like bags and shoes (unless nalang if it’s work-related and it will make me more money 😅). I rarely feel guilty naman with my travels kasi di lavish yung style ko-i don’t go out of the country to splurge on luxury goods. Saktong vacation and pag-appreciate ng lugar na pupuntahan. We also get to know ourself a little better when we travel - like recently lang narealize ko na mas willing pa ako gumastos ng 300yen para sa coke vs 240yen for a bottle of water 🤣 Siguro if you’re a female solo traveler, priority should always be safety. Natry ko na mag solo travel sa vietnam and oh my gash napaka raming snatchers 🥹 Pati yung weather, ang sarap magbakasyon at lakad lakad if hindi binabaskil haha! Pag mainit masyado, haggard babalik ng Pinas.

Same din here na hindi magastos sa pagttravel at may travel fund, but now that my friends have started to be 'over travelling' I was starting to worry if I should also start being 'over it' too. You just validated my wandering heart. 🩷 Enjoy your vacation!

Surprisingly, noong pabalik ng pinas pinayagan kami ihand carry yung mahabang umbrella na binili sa japan (di kasi kasya sa luggage). Pero papunta chineck in namin yung fibrella nano and tripod
