I always put my Guinea pig in a small cage and now she is in a big cage and she runs so dam fast and I am getting her a friend I have own about 4 ginneampigs but I love seeing them run around ❤

I can honestly admit. When I had my Zeus I started with the cage that they sell at PetCo. Yup that WAS me but thanks to LA Guinea Pig Rescue and of course all the Guinea Pig mommies (like you Autumn) & daddies out there for teaching the proper care for them. So I upgraded his cage to a C&C. It’s been 4 years since he’s gone to fly with the angels and I miss him so much. Do I want another? Maybe 🤔 One day, I will again but I guess I’m still trying to get over my grief. When people would always ask me “How many kids do you have?!” Id always reply with a “I’m a proud momma of 5 boys.” Is it just me or is it normal to still feel sad? And then when I think about getting another… guilt kicks in 🤦‍♀️

A 2C x 9C (87 inches x 28 inches which is over 7 feet long and 2.3 feet wide) is what I have for my guinea pig, Butterfly. She also gets out of the cage time because she loves to run and explore. You are a Guinea Pig model parent. Piggies need room and nice soft liners.

I have rats and ive been thinking about getting something like this but they already have a large cage that used to be a bird cage. Rats and guinea pigs are both needing of differnt styled cages.

I have free roam rabbits and every time I tell someone I have rabbits I make sure I include the 'free roam' part when I say it because I find that people always ask me questions about it and it gives me the opportunity to educate people about proper rabbit care.

I always hate when i see a guinea pig in a tiny cage the size a rat would live in they are much more than that and need much more care ❤

When my mom gave me her piggies bexause she got a new job where she works 8-9h and i ,,just" have to work from 5 to 11 luckely, she had her 2 piggies in a way bigger box compared to the first boxes there but still boring and not many to do inside of it for them i felt very bad to see both of them allday allnight mostly just in their little houses ,,chilling" . Because i had not much money at this time i couldnt afford a big adventurepark but i started to let them run in my livin room, made a gwnrrous corner of the room to an adventurepark out of treesticks, big ones and little ones, plates, stairs out of garbage snd so on. And they can be there for atleast 3-4h , a bowl with water , food, and vegetables are ofc always there as energyrefresher now they really sleep and not just bored chill in their houses when i take them back in the cage because they have a reason to rest akd sleep. They wheek way more than before and well yes i have to clean more the ground , but using some towel rules the stuff. The poop is easy to pick up by hand and feed it to my neph... err throw it away. Throw it away i meant! 😂

My dad built a six story hutch for my Guinea pigs and a massive run for them. They were allowed in the run and around our garden. We moved house and now longer have them.
