The Xenomorphs embryos usually grow in the humans stomach not theyre ovaries that's why men can give "birth" to a chest or backburster and the aliens have acid for blood because they draw their nutrients from the stomach acid that our body uses to break down food for digestion and the genetic mutation causes it to be potent enough to dissolve through metal and basically almost anything that it touches

instead of trying to figure out what the black goo would do to a xenomorph we should be trying to figure out when a Facehugger jumps you when are you impregnated with a Chestburster because I've been reading Aliens: Defiance and with what happened in Covenant it does bring up the question of "When are you screwed?"

Even if the owner says "its copyright free now".. that policy could change in a year or more and then you're screwed. I think the information is more important than music for these videos.

Already being the ultimate evolved byproduct of the engineers pathogen "the Alien specie" couldn't be evolved more by the pathogen, having all of the physical benefits, resilience and deductive cunning. As Ash described it "A perfect organism. It's structural perfection is only matched by it's hostility" with nothing more to contribute than it already has, the pathogen has reached it's limit.

I always wondered what would happen if a facehugger hugged another alien (maybe one from a different hive etc) I know it might just give birth to another normal Xenomorph as the DND would probably be the same, but it would cool if an alien was face hugged then an even worse and ultra scary xeno came out. SquirrelCake he directed the original, the one with scenes they couldn't put in the movie since they were so poorly shot. Watching them is painful. Giger made the monster, but Ridley loved an Android storyline, you know because Data is so 1980/90s ....Or 2017 if you missed ST TNG. The ultimate monster being turned into a painful to watch POS movie is Ridley's fault.

I assumed that a creature born of the black goo could not be affected by it, but I was wrong, it seems to further exelerate the evolutionary functions of organisms, but negatively impacts the xenomorph and deacon to the point they can barley live, while a human, embryo, worm, or sperm actually benefit (in a way) from the mutations by becoming stronger and more powerful.

I don't know if you've read it but I think a variation of the black goo was in the darkhorse novel labyrinth as a black mold that was killing and weakening the aliens, to the point where aliens have to physically put a hacehugger on someone as they are too weak to do it alone.

They feed certain foods to their young like honey or insect soup, so maybe young Xenomorphs (chest bursters) consume it in order to grow. If it isn't available then they'd turn to meat or other available foods instead.

The black goo causes mutations, but all dna is slightly different so everything would be effected differently, even individual xenomorphs that genetically bond with their host

Interesting question time for you, AcidGlow. Fifield was infected by the black goo and mutated into... whatever he mutated into, after being hit by a flamethrower. Is it possible the inclusion of the fire altered the mutation, and if it hadn't been used, he would've mutated in an entirely different manner?

Isn't the xenomorph's body silicone based? I have watched a few videos about what xenomorphs are made of when being compared to something like John Carpenter's The Thing, so now that really get's me thinking.

Right know its questionable if there ever will be a third movie. Alien Covenant flopped badly in theaters. And anyways I think everyone would rather see the canceld Alien 5, which we can also thank Ridley for destroying that project.

I kind of thought they wouldn't be affected by the black goo because they are sort of descended from it. I guess that wouldn't be such a great weapon for the engineers though if the goo didn't work on species that derived from it. Taking note of that, if a xenomorph touched the goo I imagine it would get a random, uncontrolled mutation that could not be predicted. Each mutation would be unique among each alien...I think? I'm just a noob so yeah.

Perhaps the original intention from David was for it to reproduce via eggmorphing. But somehow the species evolves, perhaps by the black goo or perhaps an accidental genetic cross over from Shaw or something, to where it creates its queen system of reproduction. I think this has some potential if the idea that David somehow becomes the space jockey (which I still don't buy for the moment). As the species evolved passed its creator's intention (sort of like david did), it now decides to kill its own creator in the style of the cycle that the last couple films have been pushing.

If the goo is accelerant then shouldn't the xenomorph evolve more regardless is the xenomorph comes from the black goo. And if not the would It die because it already is related to the goo? If it contacted the goo would it die like the engineers in Prometheus?

the changes caused by them touching the good, are some what basic, but if they were to eat it, that would be a different story (see mutated deacon)

All depends on whether or not the black goo can stand up to acid. I could see it getting through the skin and then stopped dead by the acid blood. But bacteria can survive in acid (stomach) so the black goo probably wont be stopped that easy. With black goo it seems dosage would dictate the result. A tiny drop and it probably starts mutating slightly like Shaw's man in Prometheus. An entire vile and it will probably break up into xeno-DNA mulch, which might adapt into a more complex organism that reproduces with spores like in Covenant. If the xenomorph gets second-hand spored, who the hell knows what that would make. An inner-jaw burster?

Actually it seems xenomorphs are the product of black goo experimentation on protomorphs by a machine intelligence... A combination of different protomorph strains combined and mutated into an engineered organism.

This also supports my theory of the Black Goo being based on the Xenomorph's DNA, because if we compare it to breeding with the same species it would cause some mutations to the next generation of births, like Lions mating with their own family, the next genaration is damaged and can even suffer from still briths. If the Black Goo accelarent is based on the Xenomorph's DNA, it will have a similar result as it damages the genes of those affected if they have the exect same genes which is more highly to happen if my theory about the Black Goo being based on the Xenomorph's DNA as they all have the same basic DNA signiture but have a breeding system that requires a foreign host and not natural mating like ours, perheps this is why they are incapble of doing so.
