I did, but the abilities of the creatures seem to change depending on who's telling the story. In any case hiding isn't a great long term survival strategy.

Their teeth likely look metalic because thet Are metallic. everything about a xenomorph is different from real workd animals. case and point, their skin and internal organs have a very different composition from a humans in order for them to have their acid "Blood" without said blood disolving them from the inside out.

I had a hunch that their longer heads contained specialized organs for adapting to the environment they are in, but I thought of something different. What if that big skull also contained a big brain, not for thinking like humans o but for adapting using a large petuitary gland. This may explain why these creatures can grow so fast and survive anywhere.

@Acid Glow - Here's a good question for a future video (unless it has already been covered in a prior one): in some of the earlier Aliens/Predator movies, they have shown Alien skulls with eye sockets. The Xenomorphs have plates of armor that cover the upper portion of their faces, so why do these eye sockets even exist? Do they exist because of the biology of the original host? The newborn from Aliens Resurrection is the only Alien (as far as I can recall) that had actual eyes, so it raises a lot of questions (at least for me anyway).

So far most Xenos take some physical form of their host, ie with Alien 3 the runners came from dogs - being quadrupedal instead of bipedal like those who come from humans. It depends on how they were impregnated too, whether from a face hugger or perhaps even a predalien "injecting" an embryo into a host.

Xenomorph design was based on painting _Necronom_ _IV_ (0:01). Ridley Scott saw it in artbook called _Necronomicon_ by Hans Giger. His art is full of references to machines, sex and death. Alien's long head has phallic shape, because that's Giger's work. Here you go. Simple, isn't it? All canon explanations are irrelevant in this case. BTW - initial design of alien's egg was a bit obscene, because openning looked like vagina - final design is more like flower.

They had eyes located hidden inside their forehead with a one side mirror carapace to allow the Xenomorph to see through the carapace while we can’t see its eyes inside their head.

Never liked the idea of being able to just walk into a xenomorph hive unharmed by using pheromones. Makes them much less threatening. But that is actually my biggest complayn about many of the comics. Ten guys go into a hive, they gun through it, kill the queen with explosives and only two guys die during the mission...

Given what we now know of the Xenomorph origins I think the human-looking inner skull is a genetic memory leftover from their creation via Shaw’s corpse, pretty much the only one (apart from the human-like digits and being bipedal). It is a good question, cus there are some xenon that have a top part that show the top half of the skeleton, but it doesn't have eyes, and there are other where if you look at the skeleton of them, you see that they don't have eyes

To the very little credit of the Prometheus trilogy, they did come Up with a somewhat nuanced reason as to why the Xenomorphs head has its distinctive Shape (rather than just sticking with Geigers falic obsession) Ir appears yo be a vestigial trait inherited from both the Deacon and the Neomorph and was supposed to be sharp to help the creature to carve its way out of the hosts body

My idea was that the head was the actual creature itself, with the body being basically an appendage. When the larva is implanted in a host, the larva gathers DNA information from the host and uses that to grow a body once it hatches from the host.

It looks eerie this way and freaky and otherworldly and outright scary to most people, that's why. Ginger designed his "monsters' this way because he heavily utilised sexual motifs in this works and Ridley and the rest chose this design because they liked it the most for their movie creature.

They can see and yes they do have eyes. The only reason they were rendered after the movie ALIENS with no eyes is because the creaters referenced ole VHS copies of A L I E N. VHS resolution is low so certain details did not make it through. When they made ALIENS they did not put eye sockets. Also, don't forget that in ALIEN COVENANT-at the end, the movie shows how the A L I E N ' S vision-which looks pixelated, photoshop kind of look. It sees in photoshop! LOLOL! SO Adobe influenced David! lol

with all seriousness now, Mr.H won't respond to me about this one subject "the predator hands" I know it seems dumb but look at the original jungle hunter's compared to the city hunter's and his whole clan. They're very much different. so please either let me know on with a video or comment back like I said there's a big difference check it out. thank you acid glow your vids are the best.

I always assumed it's elongated skull had a function to help it detect prey, other xenos, and it's environment. Given the lack of eyes they had to have an effective and practical way to "see". Thank you for putting my questions to rest.
