Today, we look at a scenario where China disappears. China is the 4th largest, 3rd strongest militarily, and 2nd strongest economically in the world. Obviously, a country like this disappearing would be monumentally devastating for the world. But what kind of war scenarios could spring from such an event? China's disappearance would lead to their influence disappearing as well. Russia would be the only other major eastern country left, meaning Western countries like the USA and Europe would thrive in this new world. Also, economically, India would become a substantial economic power ahead of Europe and behind the United States. Yo, that would instantly become the #1 social media phenomenon with dumb people making selfies about it Although there may be like a zone where it slowly descends, like 20 miles or something like that. The depth of the sea could be determined as the „negative“ to the „highness-profile“, e.g. a 10,000 fog mountain would be 10,000 ft below 0. this would also create a pretty fun looking seaground as it would be full of valleys etc. Also, funnily, that „chunk error“ would occur naturally even if it happened like I said, because it would give you a very, very steep slope (~10 degrees) so after about a decade there would also be a {chunk error}

my thought : regarding the Himalayan mountains : the Himalayan mountains formed when the Indian subcontinent "slammed" into the rest of Asian continent so you'd have to have another reason for their formation or they wouldn't be there @ all; thinking about it "it" (the subcontinent) would have probably have kept moving ending up in the body of water where China was... That was a cool "thought" experiment... have to use for an alt-world
