"Chippin' In" by SAMURAI from Cyberpunk 2077 was written and arranged by Refused in collaboration with CD Projekt Red.
What if CD Project Red didn’t hire Refused to be Johnny Silverhand’s band in Cyberpunk 2077 but instead hired only Mick Gordon, the guy known for the Doom reboot? Well now there’s an answer because, I Geoffrey Day, have constructed something very interesting.
Have ideas of tracks you'd like me to remix or cover? Let me know!

Some stuff i wanna express regarding research - I feel like the vocal part of DOOM could've been like in Metal Hellsinger game. About the track OH MY FLOCKIONG GOD! This is something what would be great for the Argent Tower or something. It's like Slayers song about how he can't be stopped by no evil on his, how he become something greater than just mortal being one before, also how he's a pure rage and how demons know no fear but they make him fear, how he lost everything so there's nothing left in him as they killed all of his close ones including family and fav pet as they destroyed his home town back on the alternative not changed Earth (this is the same Earth but with timetravel), basically he's now avatar of hatred and this "can you feel it?" is when he tears demon's heart out "do you feel how i felt when you took everything from me? This is my pain and i will make you feel the same!". Now for the stuff i suggest. Well, maybe other mix it with boomer shooters like Amid Evil or Dusk or Hellbound or Shadow Warrior or Half-Life or Prodeus and such? Also my friend who's more into cartoonish stuff was inspired enough to make an art by the moment when we launch ourselves from the railgun on Mars Core and saw the video where at this cut-scene Angry Birds music played so maybe Angry Birds and DOOM lol for the hell of it?

The bugs are least of the problems, it's the mission content. No story changing on the choice of your background, no advanced car customization, only cars and bikes even in a future setting, variety of weapons but no need to use anything but your fists because most of the enemies are simple as hell, no advanced Police system where you can bribe and hire them, instead we got a barely functioning police chase that's the worst in open world history, I can go on and on. All of this was officially promised by Devs or the marketing team to whatever. Cyberpunk is obsolete even compared to old GTAs.

@noesunyoutuber7680

@@REBMX Industrial Metal as it existed previously was more of an EBM-influenced style (à la Skinny Puppy or later SPK) that drew heavily from Thrash, Groove and Alternative Metal and tended to have a fairly small amount of electronic elements - bands used (sometimes danceable) drum machines and samples, sure, but the music was really composed around rock/metal structures and riffs. Mick's fusion of Industrial/Dark Ambient sound design techniques with Dubstep-like rise and fall song structures and pummeling Meshuggah-esque Djent riffs is a world away from Ministry and Rammstein. Celldweller is one of the only Industrial Metal artists I know of who fused more modern EDM with metal guitars, and his style was way lighter and more EDM-centric than Doom's - plus it's been recently tagged by some as "Cyber Metal," an Industrial Metal subgenre that's more heavily oriented to the Industrial Dance/Rivethead crowd. I think "Argent Metal" as shorthand for the Doom soundtrack's fusion of glitchy Industrial electronics, chugging extended-range Djent riffs (minus the Progressive Metal elements), and in-your-face Dubstep of the post-Skrillex "Brostep" or even harder Deathstep variety, works as it's own subgenre of Industrial Metal. It's instantly recognizable as a distinct style, one that sticks out from the Ministry-inspired camp and even the darker Godflesh-y bands.

I found a way to make a pretty good metal choir. if you know how to do fry screams and gutturals, and you have a garage space or other large space, you set up a mic at the front and center of the room, throw a light noise gate on it, and record 1 word at a time from different spots in the room. I personally did close, mid, and far positions combined with left, middle, and right positions (9 takes in total) layered them, panned them accordingly, threw a compressor on it, and then made a sound library of a few different length screams of each word and put it in a sample folder. This way, you can simply drag and drop the screams into your playlist, and mix them to fit the music with EQ and such
@GeoffPlaysGuitar
@GeoffPlaysGuitar 3 жыл бұрын
Vocals are my weakness! You’re right, I should network with more screaming people or else I’m gonna work mark too hard 😅 one thing that probably made a huge difference with mick’s recordings is the space and the mic placement. It would be fun to try something like that one day when the budget/time allows
