One an all seeing entity, another a giant extra-terrestrial with psychic powers. But what would happen if both of these beings battled it out for supremacy? Who would win?

Dude, this isn't even fair. Cthulhu is just a Great Old One. Hell, he's one of the weakest of his kind. Yog-Sothoth is a fricking Outer God. He's bested by Azathoth and that's it. He isn't called the All-in-One for nothing ya know. All you need to is take one glance at Lovecraft's "family tree" to realize Yog is a full tier above Cthulhu

Cthulhu: I am far more powerful than you. Yog-Sothoth: I exist at all points in time, at the same time. Including when you were but a single lump of neutrons, so fragile even the weakest of breezes would shatter you in less than an instant.

You can’t draw it accurately even a corporeal representation of Papa Yog would be too unthinkable for the human mind to express on anything. We can’t even explain what color really is to a blind person so how can we describe something comprised of infinite mass and light spectrum from outside our reality

Cthulhu would get vaporized. Yog-Sothoth is an Outer God, and though Cthulhu is my favorite mythos entity is a mere Great Old One, and would be roflstomped. Thats like asking What if an earthworm fought a human? Edit, just actually watched the video: So you guys knew ahead of time, that this isnt even a fight, and Yog stomps. So why on earth did you waste the precious time of your life span making this? Theres better questions to ask, like what if Cthulhu fought a Lord of Tindalos. That is more of an equal fight.

The description of Cthulhu that you made isn't really true, it's more than this. A Great Old One's appearance cannot be described by a human, not even the smartest. No language has the words to describe the body of Cthulhu, it is above the limits of our consciousness and that is what would make us go insane if we directly see Cthulhu. He is the supreme god of our Earth, Yog Sothoth and Shub Niggurath's child, and we can be happy that he is asleep, somewhere, in the abyss...

When you consider that, mighty as Cthulhu is, he is ONLY the high priest of Nyarlathotep, it's very likely the other gods would aid Yog Sothoth. Cthulhu could destroy the Earth with thought alone, but it serves a purpose for the Great Old Ones. Cthulhu was put in "time out" prior to the Earth's solidification, R'lyeh having been built as a sort of spell-protected play pen to keep His Immense Naughtiness from destroying the safe harbor that is Earth. From time to time, proper alignment of the stars provides him with an unsupervised day pass. It never ends well for any human involved.

Ummm.. I pretty sure it was August Derleth who created the hierarchy. The whole point of Lovecrafts work is that all of the beings are so powerful that even looking or knowing about them makes pity humans go mad. They were not created to fight each other..
