Idea for a video; if Digimon didn't fallow the pattern of "Fiery Goggle heads" being protagonist and "cool loner" as the secondary protagonist, who would be the best leader of each series

I would love to see a video if the spirits were swaped with the villain spirits

Not saying first time but would love to see contradicting spirits fusions like Dark-Light, Metal-Fire, Water-Air, Earth-Electric and Wood-Ice

JP's wind spirt line is so good! Absolutely love the vibes they give off and can absolutely see it working perfectly with his personality

One thing I noticed when I was first watching Frontier is that all three human spirits with visible hair have basically the inverse of their kid's hair colour regarding light and dark; Agunimon is blond when Takuya is a brunet, Lobomon is also blond when Koji has black hair, and Kazemon's hair is a dark-ish purple compared to Zoe's blonde hair Edit: Koichi's corrupted spirit also continues this pattern

Lol, I dreamed of this concept once when I was a kid, but the spirit stayed the same for the swapped kid. So Takuya still became Kazemon in my dream, and dealt with having a body that was the "wrong gender". Child me latched onto that particular detail for some *mysterious* reason 😂

I'm just picturing the original forms in the spirit world and Agunimon is just in tears like "he's so small"

Love everything about this! You using Gargoylemon for Koichi's Beast Spirit did give me the thought that you could actually use Gargoylemon for his Human Spirit and then use Manticoremon for his Beast Spirit! Gargoylemon might be a little to beastly for a human spirit, but I just love the visual connection between those two!

I think most of these are pretty darn good considering they're just fitting existing Digimon in. The only one that I feel there's a better option for is Takuya's human spirit. I really think Iceleomon X would be both a good translation of an Agunimon like design into an ice elemental, as well as a design that exhudes that kind of protagonist energy to match with Takuya's leader like status.

If we’re not really talking about levels and it’s more for aesthetic, how about Takuya gets Weregarurumon? My only “problem” with Takuya’s new line is that Frigimon to me has always been a bit cute? Takuya would get that bad ass leader type of character so seeing Weregarurumon and then his other digivolutions get more armor and weapons makes sense to me.

You could do it as KZfaq Short doing one spirit per short and at the end compiling and going in deeper with the explanation behind the design of the digimon that you and the artists came up with . If we talk about switching across canons, it might be cool to see how the adventure crew would spirit evolve. Some of them are obvious, like Tai would get fire, Sora would get wind, but I think itd be interesting to see the rest and what their lines would be like this video.

Tempomon is absolutely the most inspired pick of the vid; it works for J.P. and matches Zephyrmon's "Beast Spirit" energy if that makes sense. Having corrupted Light Spirits at all was frankly a pleasant surprise, as well.

Solid picks I do think if anything deserves custom art it's the hybrids. As perfect as these picks are the hybrids always have felt like they stand out among digimon in design language. They both fit in but feel very unique.

I definitely think for this concept to be realized it'd need the custom art. I think examining the idea that the human's desires influencing the design of the spirit they use would lead to some really cool designs. Like if JP's core desire is to be a hero trying to make that shine through a different spirit would be really engaging and interesting. I also think DuskMon gives an in-universe justification for the spirit data being able to change appearance. If you look at the spirits design as being flexible and connected to the user, there's a neat video idea in exploring what Digimon GrumbleMon and the like were before they were given their spirits.

Funny enough, while you thought Leomon could be a good Human Light Spirit, I honestly think IceLeomon would work greatly for the Human Ice Spirit. Takuya just has the protagonist feel that most Leomon just kind of exhude

When I heard you say you were using the element opposite of the ones the kids got, the two that didn't match up were Wind and Thunder. I feel that Metal is the opposite of Thunder and Wind would be opposite with ground (grumblemon) leaving earth and water as the last two to be opposite forces of each other.

I'm in agreement with Karn on JP's line, Petermon is a fantastic join and so fitting. As a side note, similarly to how Frontier had the merged spirits, what if an Adventure or Tamer digimon could merge two of its own Digivolutions? Sort of a self-DNA Digivolution. I imagine the lore would be basically trying to load the core data of two Digivolutions simultaneously. So we could get a WarGreymon × BlitzGreymon fusion for Tai's Agumon, a MetalGarurumon × CresGarurumon fusion for Matt's Gabumon, and switching over to Tamers, Takato and Guilmon, we could get a Dukemon × Megidramon fusion

As someone who loves Digimon Frontier I would like so see more custom art videos for that season. Anything from spirit swaps to “fixing” some fusion hybrids (*cough* Daipenmon *cough*) to maybe even elements outside the frontier cannon. ❤😸

Can you do fanart of what the unity spirit evolutions would look like if the other frontier kids accessed them for instance. Instead of putting Zoey's Wind and Tommy's Ice into Takuya's Fire, Takuya and Tommy put their powers into Zoey's wind resulting in her own version of Emporer Greymon and so on and so forth just would love to see what kinda concepts could be made for the other frontier kids since they didnt get the extra spotlight because of having to lend their powers to Takuya and Koji.

Great picks all around, especially with Zoey and JP. This video feels like it might have partly been for looking at what a 4th for at least the other main 4 elements, unified Wind possibly being futuristic (bug/fairy wings -> bird wings -> jet engines) while promoting fused Lightning to Unified while the new fused spirit is an insectoid cyborg bridging the line.

Do you think you can do a custom art video where you fix the fusion spirits for ice, light, thunder and wind?

This is great, really like the thoughts here! Though honestly i was expecting a swap of the kids getting the villain spirits (with the twin swap), not swapping with each other. So much room to play with Frontier swaps!

for what ever reason this made me really want a new digimon game with a wider and updated roster. Tinkermon, boltmon, hessmon, all the newer digimon that should continue to live in a new game. A new digimon world discovering mysteries and exploring would be amazing.

Since you gave Kouji two perfect-level Digimon for his darkness spirits, I would switch Cerberumon: Werewolf Mode for Astamon as his human spirit. I know Astamon doesn't look so much like a wolf but his cowl still looks like one, he can naturally evolve from Psychemon and Sangloupmon, who are both associated with dog-like Digimon, and he keeps up the association with the underworld that Cerberumon and Anubimon share. Not only that but he is also a good reference to MagnaGarurumon's use of firearms

Ya know, I will say in regards to some of the choices ya make in some videos, I will say, it is okay to make some more odd but connecting choices but more power to you as it were~! But, I do have a suggestion for a Custom Art Video or a series of ones. Specifically "Digivolution Lines for Armor Digimon". What inspired this? Well Gargoylemon, because it is read as a Champion/Adult, Armor and or Child/Rookie, and it gets me thinking, from Veemon, to Gargoylemon, to an Ultimate and a Mega, how would that go? Because it is such an interesting idea, especially for that line, along with the quote " It is said that once it is freed from those restraints, it will exhibit tremendous power. " I will say you did do some decent choices in this video, especially with the likes of Zoe for instance.

I think if Kouji got the Spirit of Fire his Human Spirit could be Flaremon, and his Beast Spirit could be either be Lynxmon or Firamon. To call back to the mechanical suits of his Light Spirits, I want his Hybrid Spirit to be Heavy Leomon, since I don't want to just outright give him basically the Apollomon line. It still really references the death generals though

I honestly always had a soft spot for Frontier, though it does have many, MANY shortcomings as a narrative with several plot holes (like, what are the dozens if not hundreds of other kids doing while the main group was on their adventure? How were they kept safe? Why did only four kids refuse to return? What is the in-universe explanation as to why only children in Tokyo got the message? etc.). Thus I did a sort of "fix-it fic" to try and fill those plot holes and adjust things to make more sense, which sort of escalated to the point of being barely recognizable if I were to change all the names - so rather than a fix-it fic, it's more like a "what would I do with this basic premise" fic (stil WIP tho). One of the (many) changes from the original I did was this very idea - that the spirits form a unique hybrid digimon depending on the user. Though, for the one/few times we ever see a non-warrior character digivolve using a spirit (Shamamon with the Fire B-Spirit, and I included one of the non-protagonist kids going through a similar experience with another spirit) I created new hybrid digimon. For example, for Shamamon, I made "Senehmon" (the name meaning "brambles", as a vague reference to the biblical burning bush), a wyvern-like demon-dragon-type digimon with a spiked club-tail, ogre teeth and partially green flames that can take on the form of thorny vines (also, I use mostly the japanese names of the digimon, because to me they seem more interesting/meaningful/plain cool compared to english - I mean, just compare BurningGreymon vs. Vritramon)

Always love the frontier content. Maybe in the future the boys in the lab can do fusion of the spirits the heros capture from the villains. Like the human fire spirit fusing with the human earth spirit and so on and so forth

Tommy and Takuya: They are fine. It's fine for Takuya to be Frigymon so you don't double up on Wizards. Tommy for a fusion spirit can have Apollomon I'm fine with that. Koji and Koichi: This is fine. And it makes it interesting. JP and Zoe: This one gets crazy.
