Like the reason why he was absent because he was recruited Knull who made him a bargain to help him collect some pieces for portal so he can travel through the multi-verse And create an invasion.

Say in this alternate time line MJ will slip on that juice spill in the cafeteria and Mary Jane spider sense will go off and she does a backflip and catches her lunch before it falls on Peter and MJ catches it and Peter stays amazed and Peter says Thank You! And amazing reflexes. Flash spots Peter talking to Mary Jane and Flash is about to swing a Peter for talking to MJ and MJ spider sense goes off and MJ blocks the punch and accidentally causes to break Flash's hand and now Mary Jane is labeled as a freak and later on the night Flash drives his new car to MJ's and Flash dumps MJ because she's a freak and breaking his hand and MJ climbs up The Parker's house and knocks on Peter's bed room window and she's crying that saying that Flash dumped her and she needs help with these powers and Peter would help her to discover her powers and they start a relationship and they start dating in High School in this alternate time line and after graduation Peter and MJ would have a graduation dinner at Peter's house and she tells Uncle Ben and Aunt May about her powers and Uncle Ben gives both Peter and MJ the power and responsibility talk and Peter would make her the original Spider-Man suit instead of Peter living with Harry while in College MJ and Peter would have an Apartment together and in order for Peter to pay the Bills Peter decides to take pictures of Mary Jane while she's fighting crime. Does that answer your question? Is it good?

I agree Like sure his desgin and lines and actor were questionable but i kinda get it Venom was Peters darker half same suit same look and I think thats a great idea. He is just a evil look on spiderman the oppisote of what spiderman represents and the symbiote knew that and was straight up evil
